Went to order and it seemed like we were causing the barman inconvenience. They didn’t have ingredients for our order which was fine. We’d order something else and we did. Went to reorder and they had run out of one of the ingredients so we said no problem, we’ll have it without. This took some time as he did not have enough to make the full amount and had a discussion with another bartender about the shopping they needed but he said, hold on, I’ll see if I can make it with this. It didn’t work as he couldn’t pour it so the lady went next door to get milk. On her return, he whizzed up some milk and ice cream to make up the shortfall. He then poured honeycomb over the top which we had asked him to leave off. He asked me if I wanted a spoon to fish it off and decided he was going to do it. He did and handed it back to me with a shortfall in the glass but that was probably because it was all slopping down the sides. Unfortunate as the last time the woman served us and she couldn’t have been more friendly and professional. My friend felt that it was an inconvenience to order drinks at all.

Recently made happy hour finish at 8pm without warning, overcharging everyone should atleast let regulars know they won’t receive the deal anymore

I wish I could give a 0 star review. Walked in and seemed like a very inclusive and cultural pub, I am from Norway, security by the entrance gave me an odd look, would not accept my norwegian drivers license id and passed it over to the manager behind the bar. Manager took her time and 10 minutes later she refused me entrance without any explanation or any answer to my confused questions. I honestly find this absolutely disgusting and can’t believe how this is possible in a society like this. Fine I’m not a person by colour and might not have the right to call this racism but I fine this extremely unfair and upsetting. Will never speak a good word about this place or chain ever again. An absolute disgrace!

This is one of my favourite spots for a few cocktails with a friendly atmosphere. They have dj's at weekends and special themed nights too.

I typically just go into the snug after work for a quick drink, but it’s turned into the place I go to for a night out or just to relax, the staff are absolutely lovely and always make me feel home. I’ve also made it routine to go on Sundays for Loz’s Quiz!!! It’s a great environment and have recommended it to everyone I know

Only popped in for 2-4-1 cocktails before going for dinner with friends but music was good & comfortable seating. Karoke was a no no but after a few more rounds of cocktails we entertained it. Place was very quiet on a Thursday night but we didn't mind. Decided to stay all night& although no food was being served they allowed us to get delivery from noodle nation which was great. Frequented the Snug many times, always a good night. Staff were so friendly.

Drinks are always being updated so there's always something new to try, but they'll make you your favourite old menu drink if you ask! Lovely bar staff, great service. Prices are good too.

Visited for a few before watching Jimmy Carr at the swan theatre. Was driving so could not participate in the 241 cocktails but was able to enjoy the mocktails (which were also on 241)

Nice bar with a cheeky waitress who tried to charge my friend for one no alcoholic drink £21. When I asked for the bill and a pen to mark on the receipt which drink we ordered waitress became aggressive saying "she knows what we were ordering". Do you make extra money by adding to the bill drinks we didn't order? I understand that you may be wrong, but admit your mistake and say I'm sorry. Don't be fooled, check your bill before you pay

Charlie was so sweet and nice even though there was a lot of people ordering! He kept a very calm environment around us and made AMAZING cocktails! Coming back for him 🤩

This cocktail bar is definitely worth a visit if in High Wycombe. The selection of cocktails they have are brilliant. If I remember they have an online menu to which you can check out, though they were slightly different to when we were physically there. At the time of writing this this I had been a few days prior, and they have a 2 for 1 promotion on selected cocktails. We had the Shark Week which was delicious! You had to get two of the same which is standard. We also ordered 3 shots for £10. These weren't your generic shots either, they were really nice interesting mixed shots. We has the raspberry lemon drop I think it was called, and I had ordered one extra (as the deal was 3 of the same shots for £10) which was one I would rather not write down here (some might know what special shot I'm referring too) and it was great. Bar staff were great, very pleasant and upbeat, and when we left and said goodbye, they told us to keep hydrated which is always a good touch. Wish I could the barmans name that night, but thanks for doing my big drink request without anything but a smile :) My only word of warning to people is that the venue is a little small so later in the evening, it can get a little packed. Otherwise a great bar which I definitely will be returning too!

The only place to go for cocktails in town

A lesson in hospitality from Adam and Rachel on a Wednesday night for 7 of us. Catered for all of our drinks within reasonable time for a busy bar. Shame about the old hag who had a go at Rachel in the middle table. Nevetheless Rachel was very polite and seemed to tame the troll back under the bridge.

Absolute rip off, very expensive drinks, no good deals, watered down drinks. Never again

Absolutely rude staff, felt uncomfortable and unwelcome when I came through the door. The service was terrible to say the least, first they get my order wrong then they refuse to give me my correct order and if my day couldn’t get any worst I found out when I arrived home that they charged me 3x not once not twice but three times for a small meal. Down right criminal. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Like that they have vege straws. Bar staff very friendly.

My favourite drinking spot in Wycombe! The cocktails are so good and there's a great range to chose from. The staff are all phenomenal and really helpful, even altering cocktails slightly such as making the drink longer for you. The music is great and the outdoor seating is lovely and shut off from the main street a bit which I personally enjoy. They don't serve food other than crisps though so it can make it hard to spend the whole evening there unless you eat first.

Enjoyable evening with friends. Nothing was ever too much for our server.

Had an early Friday finish to celebrate freedom Day so headed into the town centre to get some drinks on the go. After starting somewhere else we ended up here. The service was a little slow and whilst you can view the menu on the app you can't order from it. However overall the 2 for £12 cocktails were most enjoyable, they have a good selection of drinks and the price matches with the quality well. There is a nice and cosy seating area out back to match the name and the interiors seemed pretty nice. Only thing I would add is some cushions for the wooden benches outside as this would help make them comfortable for continued drinking over a couple of hours. Overall an enjoyable experience will definitely be heading back for a cocktail at some point soon.

NOT WHAT IT WAS! Happy hour has gone!! only a few are on 2 for 12 and when your favourite has gone from this, there is the added service charge of 10%!!! Customers should not be made to make up staff wages! Pay better! 1* would not recommended.

Poor service, waited 45 mins for drinks. Then rudely asked to leave when our time slot was up, even though no one was waiting and no cue outside. Our table spent a lot of money in this time and we wanted to enjoy ourselves but we didn't. Rude staff, will reluctantly go back, maybe!

Plenty of seating, and fairly good value with their 2 for 1s and other drink deals. Good cocktails and an impressive playlist. Will visit again if ever we're up this way!

Sadly DJ killed the vibe once he started everyone left ..at least music to your clients .normally a good cocktail bar before 9pm 2 for 1 deals . Can managers not see the people walking out to soon to quickly .

Booked a 9 person cocktail class here for girlfriends birthday and was really impressed with staff and how much fun they made it

Nice decor inside and out, good drinks but the worst DJ I have ever encountered anywhere. We were having to full on shout at each other across our table to be heard and the volume kept changing dramatically. Also no locks on any of the women's toilets and no toilet paper in one cubicle either.

Background info 1. I have been here 10-20 times this year and I will probably keep coming here. 2. I live locally and there's not to many options of going out in HW, so no other choice but make better the ones we have :). My 2 cents on the business: What is great: - Staff is nice and helpful - Great location - Happy hour - Diverse and interesting crowd - Bouncers seem alright - The DJ I have seen plays good songs What can be improved: - The Menu : and this brings up a whole bunch of problems. The menu tries to be everything for everyone and instead is nothing to nobody. You don't need 50 drinks in a menu. Just have 6-8 signature drinks, 6-10 classics and 2 sharers and make them great each time and with love and passion. It's a shame since you have great staff, and they look passionate about the job but I have been in their place and it's frustrating working with a menu like this. The bar area looks messy, again large menus = a lot of ingredients, a lot of plastic squeeze bottles, a lot of ingredients crammed in one place. New staff will have problems learning the menu hence quality of drinks will not be consistent. Some drinks aren't garnished at all. Customers will take longer to order => idle times, business loses money Gin menu : -Choose your gins better ( beefeater, sure use it for rail but I wouldn't put it on a gin list) - Organise your gins better flavour/notes(floral, citrus, herbaceous, etc.) , types.. -Unless Fever Tree gives you a lot of money or a good retro on sales you don't need to write the brand before each type of tonic. Just write on top or bottom All gins come as double served with Fever Tree tonic. You just saved writing Fever Tree 21 times or 210 characters. The venue: - Looks decrepit, although runned bars have a certain veneer, it's thought to pull off unless you know what you're doing. Restored wood, Tacky antiques and decor,used chairs can be cool if you know how to use them properly, peeling paint or missing paint is not. - Dirty menus are not cool Needs a good scrub. Closing argument : Bars need to have a unique selling point in this day and age. Good drinks,food,service should support the uniqueness of your place and should be the bare minimum , something this bar fails to do. I'll keep coming back , and hopefully some things will change.

The Snug used to be my regular drinking hole but it's now exceptionally shabby. The whole place needs refurbishing badly. Paint is chipping off the walls, furniture looks worn out and the bathrooms are disgusting. The staff are always very nice. The cocktails are ok but I'd rather go across the road to a much nicer bar...

great cocktail menu (which is what they know they're good at) but unfortunately it's been looking rather neglected recently. Paint peeling off the walls, tables always sticky and chipped in places... Could do with a little referb to show they care about making it a nice place for their customers to hang out!

Dirty everywhere, sticky floor, shabby,tired and nasty wall paint colours....All dark and depressing

Usually great for happy hour but out first brunch there today was not good. We waited for 45 min for the food and went to ask what's going on. Apparently they were getting some missing ingredients. Almost 1h and 15min after ordering one of the bartenders comes to apologize the food will be another 10-15 min. He offered a refund, we took it and left.

Good selection of cocktails and mocktails. Prices aren't too bad either. Food menu is average - as a vegetarian it was ok but not outstanding - I would have liked to have seen more options than just a veggie burger and veggie sides. Staff are friendly.

Great little cocktail bar with free WiFi. One of a small independent chain with food as well, burgers, etc.. Sometimes has live music and djs too! Can get busy at weekends so worth booking a table in advance.

Had a Christmas party here which was outstanding, cocktails and food included. I have left some bits behind but the amazing staff have kept it for me :)

A lovely, cosy pub that was happy to have us just for a drink at lunchtime. Really friendly staff. Had a bookshelf and blankets! The straws are veggie matter straws, and they make donations to save the turtles. Big sundries and lots of areas for seating, including outdoors.

Proper cocktails made mostly with fresh ingredients. Staff are nice and serve quickly.

Was originally impressed but some friends and I went in and ordered gin flights. this took forever to get them and there was no fruit to put in them. Eventually we left with only 4 out of 6 of us getting drinks
