Had a fantastic Sunday roast at The Botanist – the roast beef was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the trimmings were spot on. We followed a wine recommendation that paired perfectly with the meal. Our server, Tara, was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely meal celebrating. The live music added a wonderful touch to our time spent here. The food was fabulous, I will be returning for the salt and pepper pork belly hanging kebab, especially with the additional pitta bread side. Amazing speedy service from Alejandro and Tara who were very friendly, even though the restaurant was busy and we were a large group.

Tilly was lovely and made our experience so nice would definitely recommend coming here for the lovely atmosphere with your family or friends

Utterly delicious Sunday lunch! Despite ordering the kids portion the food was so enough! The vegetables were honey glazed and tasted divine! We also got the cauliflower cheese for sharing and wow!!!! So tasty!!!! Super service and wonderful atmosphere. Oh and Pinot Grigio from Australia was perfect to wash it down with. Can’t wait to try the pudding

Horrible customer service!!! We had a really bad experience today being there. At the end one of the staff members asked us to leave the table in 5-10 minutes cause they wanted the next customers to sit there. Also we asked the lady who took the order for a glass of water and she ended up bringing it long time after, meanwhile we really needed urgently some water. Very expensive place as well. Definitely not recommended!!

Great bar, well designed, well staffed with restaurant on the other side, music how ever was rather bland, chart mash and loud not sure it was appropriate for such a lovely setting.

We visited on a Friday evening. Was a great atmosphere and our bartender Davide made the BEST cocktails, all 3 tasted delicious. We also got free chicken and fries as the order was accidentally put through twice, so was very much appreciated. There was also live music which was incredible. Highly recommend visiting and would come again :-) !!

We didn't have a great experience when visiting the botanist. It was my hen party to which they knew. We were initially seated but waited 20 mins just for drinks order to be taken, then another 20 minutes to be served to us. Whilst eating we asked if we could have some more drinks as nobody came over to us to check. After 20 minutes no drinks arrived. We asked about this and were told they would be with us shortly. 45 mins passed and still no drinks. On asking for the bill we asked if they could be taken off the bill to which we were told they had been. We also asked for the service charge to be removed due us having poor service and we were questioned as to why! We almost felt like we couldn't remove this. Once we had received the receipt we could see we had been charged for this! We asked for a refund and this took another 20 minutes to sort. Frankly it was not the service we expected and spoilt our experience as we were having to constantly chase for our drinks, water and then refunds for overcharging!

Great food and good service. We went twice on a three night stay in the area, so I think that says it all. It is busy but the food is worth the wait and they really did well with my husband's allergy and took it seriously.

The restaurant was lovely and the food was great ..they just added 10% service charge and then 32.95 tip on top so an extra 57 quid on top of the bill . When we realised we went back In and they refunded the tip part as was punched into the machine in error

Booked a table for 9 people for a special event, was given a private table in a secluded bit near the bar. The live music was excellent, the menu was varied and all the food we had was well presented and delicious, drinks were varied and supplied quickly by professional and friendly staff. We had an amazing time and we thank all the staff at the Botanist for their superb treatment. Highly recommend.

Arrived with a party of 12 people. Reserved our table. We waited over 30 minutes for food to arrive, then went it did, only half came. We were held to time restraints as some of us had trains to catch and some of us also needed to get our coach back to Newcastle. Very disappointed in the service, pricing was too high, we felt, for the food we received. They offered us complimentary free chips for the inconvenience! Told us they were missing a few chefs! Never coming back! Avoid if you can

We sat down for dinner at The Botanist on the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and polite people serving us. We started with some drinks and starters that were so delicious that we decided to do it again and ended up not having dinner. We chose the Roasted Camembert and the Garlic Fougasse Bread, both were excellent, the bread arrived at the table warm and was accompanied by a little melted butter, the Camembert was perfect, well melted and very tasty. We didn't manage to have dinner, as we ate too much of the starters. The location is beautiful, with a beautiful view of the inside of the Royal Albert Dock.

I visited here last month with my mum and my niece. When we were seated, the waitress asked if we had any allergies before taking our order, and we informed her that my niece has a milk and dairy allergy. However, when we ordered dessert, we specifically asked for vegan ice cream for my niece from the menu. When it arrived, I made sure to double-check that it was indeed vegan, and the waitress assured us it was. My niece started eating it, but then a different waitress came back over and mentioned she wasn’t sure if it was actually vegan and took it away to change it. This was incredibly concerning given my niece’s allergy. I immediately asked to speak to the manager, but unfortunately, they didn’t seem too concerned about the mistake. The only resolution offered was to remove the children’s meal from the bill. But for us, it wasn’t about the money—it was about the serious risk to my niece’s health. This experience left us quite disappointed, especially considering how dangerous such an oversight could be. It’s crucial that staff be more diligent and that management takes such issues more seriously to ensure the safety of all customers.

Booked a table very easily online. Got a super friendly welcome when we arrived which was lovely. Unfortunately the table was incredibly sticky and despite us asking for it to be cleaned it didn’t happen so we had to use napkins as mats which was disappointing. Food and wine were very nice and we did enjoy our evening.

Visited the Botanist bank holiday weekend. Staff were very friendly. Service was quick and our food was lovely. Definitely recommend.

Drinks were ok.. the bar lady made a cocktail we asked for which was off the menu which was nice. The thing that ruined it was the fact the men’s toilet was out of order and full of faeces because nobody bothered to clean it. Such a shame.. I suffer from ibs and it can be quite uncomfortable if I need to use the lavatory and I’m not able too.

Visited on 27th Aug with family, have always been pleased with the quality of food and service when it was the club house, last night was awful, food was massively over cooked, fish was burnt batter and over salted chips, and the smallest pot of peas possible. The hanging kebab was dry and tasteless and the service none existent. Such a shame and what a difference from our last experiences.

Booked for 14 of us, for afew birthdays. Food was amazing, generous portions and very tasty. We pre ordered our food so it came quickly and correct. The staff were great, coming back checking if we needed any more drinks. Nice atmosphere

Came for my daughter’s birthday lunch, staff were lovely, food was great! Neither of us are again the rest of the day. A card was given to my daughter for her birthday and also a her mocktail was free.

Just in Liverpool for one night - had a lovely meal at the Botanist- presentation of the food was fab, especially the lamb kebabs! Very efficient and friendly service and our waitress, Emily was great! Thank you!

We went for a Sunday roast. Service was very slow. All other roasts came out with extra gravy on the plate, ours did not and we had to ask 3 times for extra gravy. Vegetables were hard.

In this great night walk the "Albert Dock" in "Liverpool" which is part of the Unesco world heritage for its historical and cultural importance, you will find this gastronomic space set between the rustic, the garden and a lot of green (vegetation) and brown (wood). Excellent live music 🎶, very good cocktails 🍸 and the great culinary proposal, the "Famous Hanging Kebbab" is served in a hanging piece x 3 in the form of skewers 🍢 of lamb, chicken and shrimp where their accompanying sauces, the environment, the wine 🍷, the drinks and the beer 🍺 make this a very good experience, both for tourists of this City and for its residents, sharing meetings with friends and outings after work. Recommended and different place!

If you want a table to actually speak to someone without shouting to be heard don’t bother with this place. My wife booked a few weeks in advance. I’m not one to moan or complain generally but this place really annoyed me. I get places have music and I’m all for live music I’m going to about 15 gigs this year alone. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated but there was a great draft blowing through so I asked if we could move tables but were told due to bookings we couldn’t so ok fair enough.even though I could clearly see another table with 5 spaces free maybe they could of put us there but they chose not to.My sister arrived slightly later than us and sat at the table where i initially sat and almost immediately put her jumper on because of the draft blowing through. There was a speaker above the table projecting the awful live singer through to the restaurant. When I go to eat I want to sit and talk to people. This was impossible here as I had to keep bending my head to hear my sister and wife talk over the noise.of the speaker banging in my left ea. My sister did get up and ask if they could turn the speaker off and a lady said she would speak the manager. Nothing happened. Spent the whole meal listening to an awful singer who was no better than a street busker at that and shouting to be heard over the table. It’s not rocket science BOTANIST have live music in the bar area but leave it out of the restaurant. I know many people don’t talk these days just stare at their phones but we are not those people.! Food was ok but never again will I go to one of these to eat in the restaurant. Wake up botanist people book a table to eat relax and talk not be drowned out by a poor pub singer with a speaker situated over your table.if I want live music I’ll go to a gig not a restaurant. Awful experience and spoilt first day in Liverpool and what annoyed me most was not once did anyone come to our table to liaise with us about the issue of noise we raised earlier in the evening. Stunk of couldn’t give a famn and poor customer service! Poor management Stick it where the sun doesn’t shine !Never again.and they had the audacity to add a tip which I refused to pay. Never again and I will be telling anyone who asks about Albert dock not to go there.

Had high hopes and it didn’t disappoint. Food was genuinely nice, quite small portions for the money but very tasty. Only complaint was that the beer was a small bottle and quite expensive. Love the location.

We ate on Sunday at noon an excellent Sunday cara por belly and a hamburger, to share potatoes and scotch eggs. All excellent and abundant. The very reasonable price.

Booked for a large group for a hen do. Communication beforehand was good & we could pre-order. Our server on the day was really friendly. Couple of downsides were food coming out relatively staggered and not always correct meaning some people were finishing before others had started. When our bill came there was also a discrepancy where we had been charged for an item we had not ordered. Food was nice but a bit overpriced. Drinks were excellent. I understand things don't always go smoothly when busy but it did make things a bit more stressful than they needed to be especially when paying higher prices X

Recently visited the botanist -Liverpool location on our day trip to Liverpool and the food was delicious and the drinks were great ! Loved the atmosphere and the servers explained the items on which we had questions on and took a few of their recommendations. I’ve already referred relatives who live nearby to try it out ! Would def go again if I ever go back to Liverpool

Everything was amazing, the food, the staff even down to the room we were in. ❤️ and the gift of flowers for me as it was our wedding day just made it all a little bit more special.. will definitely return . Thank you 😊

Not the greatest, waited 10/15 minuets before our drinks order was taken. Food was lovely just not a lot for what you pay, 2 people, 2 meals and 2 drinks £60 is a little OTT. Oh, and they charge an extra £1 for chunky chips which wasn't mentioned when we ordered and they were offered as an option (if its on the menu it wasn't noticed) and don't forget to check your Bill, they add a service charge with out being told (again, could be on the small print on the menu!) This was on a Sunday just after lunch also, didn't seem overly busy either. We wont be rushing back. 2* just for the taste of the food.

Greeted nicely & seated promptly but then the service went downhill. Had to ask over & over again for drinks & every order that eventually made it to the table was wrong in one way or another. Most of the food for our table was nice but the 2 of us that had the Camembert could barely eat it as the bread was SO hard, could have caused some serious damage with it or knocked in nails🤷🏻‍♀️ we weren’t table checked to be able to report it so we tried our best to eat what we could. We’d asked at the start if we were able to pay individually at the end which we were told yes but it wasn’t the easiest when it came round to actually doing it, the waiter didn’t have a clue on prices & it took forever. All in all it was great but the hanging kebabs a few of our party had were apparently lovely! I think being a table of 11 was a struggle for them & the waiter we had seemed to struggle to keep on top of our ordering. I’d consider going back to try a kebab but not in a large group

Service and food was so bad we couldn't help but laugh! We had booked a table in advance on the website and on arrival were greeted to immediately. Interior looked lovely and we thought we were in for a lovely evening - good start and high hopes! When being seated for our prebooked table, the other waitress was just removing the preoccupants drinks, and the table wasn't even wiped down before seating us. The seat was right next to the window to overlook the docks...yet they had painted a rainbow over the glass so no view whatsoever! We then proceeded to order our drinks and some small plates to start with. The order was taken quickly and then began the wait. It took half an hour to receive our food - 4 small plates out of the 5 we had ordered and we had not yet received any drinks! We enquired about this and they said, quote, ' we are looking for a corkscrew to open the bottle of wine.' We started the food, since we didn't want it to get cold while we waited for the drinks. Staff then came over apologising profusely for the wait and gave us an extra glass of wine on the house for the wait. Which was nice, but I think we would have preferred to have had our own drinks on the house! The food was bland - harrisa cauliflower and homous - no flavour of harrisa whatsoever! And we were still missing our final fifth small plate. We decided we weren't going to bother ordering a main..so just chatted while drinking our very late arrival drinks. Staff then came to clear our table and we asked for the bill. Where they had charged us for the missing fifth plate of halloumi fries. Another 10 minutes taking that off the bill we finally paid the bill. While chatting, drinking the free glass of wine, staff then proceeded to top up our table with cutlery etc, bearing in mind we were seated against a window so they had to eland over the table inbetween us to top up while we were in conversation. There was no offer of water for the table or refilling water. Honestly, laughable service. We laughed all evening otherwise we could have cried. 10/10 would NOT recommend unless your want to spend a bit of money for a few laughs - think I'd rather pay to go to a comedy show for that! Hate leaving a negative review but you should really review and improve your customer service for people to leave positive reviews.

Booked a table for two and arrived to be shown a table in the corner of the restaurant, which was fine. However, the service was soooo slow. Took a good 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. There seemed to be just one guy serving a lot of tables and he seemed to be rushed off his feet. Next thing we know, two couples with a dog turned up and were seated next to us. Dog found it hard to settle and barked every time someone was served food. Thought dogs were only allowed in the bar…. Food was ok, but nothing special bearing in mind what they charge. Two of the meals my husband asked for were off the menu and not available! This was at 7 o’clock in the evening, so not late. Ridiculous! Won’t be returning!

I booked a table online for six people on Sunday with five minutes notice as another restaurant had let us down. I’m so glad they did as we ended up having an amazing Sunday roast at a beautiful table. The food was stunning. The atmosphere was also great as there was a live singer and our waitress was so accommodating and friendly.

Visited on 20/7/2024, was impressed with decor and atmosphere and the staff were attentive and polite however, we were disappointed with the food in terms of value for money. We had to order extras which we believe should have been included in the hefty price! For that reason, we won’t be returning.

We had a lovely few drink here before heading on to an escape room. Our barman was lovely and friendly, the drinks were lovely and despite the price the atmosphere really made us feel welcomed. Will definitely be sampling some more of the cocktail menu at some other point.

Great food and service, only disappointment was the lack of Nori crisps on the duck salad. Went on a Saturday night not realising they have a dj and loud music so the venue was extremely busy.

Took my 2 grandaughters here today. They picked the sausage and mash from childrens menu ( both 8years old) finished our meals and ordered their desset, plain vanilla ice cream for one and chocolate brownie for the other. After 10 mins a member of staff came , i told her I had ordered their dessert with a male waiter , repeated the order, and said just one each though laughingly. She went to check and make sure be with us soon. Another 10 minutes we waited , so over 20 mins, watching staff take orders and deliver food to other people. Girls were really fed up waiting so asked another member of staff where their dessert was. They went to check , another 5 minutes goes by. Said to girls if theirs is not the next thing to come out from kitchen were going. No one came near us again so after 5 mins stood up to leave, went towards the door. Oh guess what, dessert on its way !! 2 staff approached us at till. I said totally unacceptable leaving 2 children to wait nearly half hour , was told " sorry we have no pastry chef on duty , thats what caused the wait" OMG it takes a pastry chef to cut a small piece of brownie and put it into a bowl , to put a scoop of ice cream in a bowl ... really. I said totally I was disgusted , take the desserts off the bill. To be told " the desserts are actually free so can't take anything off." Well the ice creams i now have to buy them from outside arent free. Why should they go without a dessert because you couldnt get your act together, and kept 2 small girls waiting for so long.. We had to go as had other things to do. They werent interested. Disgusting attitude towards children, towards customers. Will never go again and wouldnt recommend it. Gave 2 stars as the food we did get was nice. Pity they spoilt the whole experience for us. Shame on you !

Fantastic meal. Service was a bit slow as it was very busy. Our server Grace was lovely.

Food was nice but service was awful. It was 15/20 minutes after being seated before I had to request someone to take our drinks order. They also included a service charge which whilst you could refuse, felt uncomfortable to do so. Clearly needs a more effective manager to ensure oversight of the waiters and ensure quicker turnover and higher customer satisfaction. If the service was better ran, this would have got 5 stars.

A disappointing experience, floor and tables dirty with napkins and food not cleaned up all around the restaurant area. Very disappointed by the overall quality of the food given the price, you can get far better quality at a much cheaper price else were. No side plates were offered with the starters and the starter plates were not cleared away until after we had eaten our mains. To top the experience off the fire alarm for the hotel next door went off twice during our visit making it very hard to listen and enjoy a conversation between friends. Unfortunately we will not be returning in the future.

Very disappointed. Having been to The Botanist in many other cities we booked here for a family meal expecting the same quality - how wrong we were!!! Firstly service was awful. The music was so loud we could hardly hear ourselves speak and we had to wait about twenty minutes for our drinks order to be taken. It then took a further ten minutes for our food order to be taken. Our drinks took about fifteen minutes to arrive at the table. The waiter didn’t know what table the order was for when the starters came so they were sat on the side for a good few minutes before we received them. The Korean chicken starter is clearly just warmed up in the microwave!! The first bit of chicken we bit into was stone cold!!! The other two pieces were lukewarm. The hummus was clearly shop bought and the pitta bread was hard and stale. The calamari was okay but a tiny portion for £8.95!!! We considered sending the chicken back but thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt. Now for the mains… where do I start. My partner and I shared the shared hanging kebab and ordered the chicken, lamb and pork belly. We bit into what we thought was the lamb when it arrived and it was stone cold!!! The chips were also freezing cold. We sent this food back. The rest of the food was lukewarm but we had waiting that long for it that the rest of my family members just ate it out of hunger. We told the waitress that the food was cold. She didn’t apologise at all and simply just asked if we wanted another. After waiting for over 20 minutes for another sharing kebab it finally arrived only for the waitress to tell us that the middle kebab was vegan??? Vegan?? We didn’t order a vegan kebab!!! By this time the other family members had already finished their lukewarm meals. We told the waitress that we had actually ordered chicken, lamb and pork. She looked confused and said that she could get us a chicken kebab made as soon as possible. By this point we were fed up of waiting and asked for the bill. They took the cost of the sharing kebab off the bill but did not once apologise and simply didn’t seem to care. The only nice part of the meal was the bottle of wine we shared. It’s such a shame to see that the botanist has gone downhill. I would avoid at all costs and will not be returning to any branches any time soon.

I am very suprised at the response to my feedback particularly as I’m not the only person that’s highlighted these issues. The manager of this restaurant should be speaking to their staff regarding standing about at the entrance to the restaurant chatting amongst themselves and being on their phones. Is the manager of this restaurant aware of what sort of image this portrays ? It’s certainly not a welcoming image. I would suggest, the management need further training in response to customer feedback and the overall running of this restaurant. We had a long wait before anyone came over to us which was surprising as the restaurant was more or less empty and at least 3 members of staff were standing near the entrance on their phones and chatting amongst themselves. When they did come over we had to ask 3 times if our drinks were coming. Then our starters arrived with 1 missing so had to wait for that. When the main course arrived the chips were like warm and the onions rings were covered in salt. This was our first experience in The Botanist and if thats the sort of service and experience you can expect in frankly a more up market restaurant chain it will be our only visit. We always leave a tip I checked there was no service charge added to the bill which there wasn’t and we left no tip. Very very disappointed.

It was a great idea to turn away all the people coming out of the Arena after an event, claiming to be closed. Thankfully the One O Clock was open.

I booked The Botanist for my friend’s hen weekend and there were 12 of us. I and others were disappointed to see that there were 3 tables for us, meaning that we would be split up. While I understand that it can be hard to accommodate for 12 people, it would’ve been better if this was communicated to me when I was making my booking. Luckily there was enough space for us to add chairs to one of the tables. Our drinks were really nice, they did take a little bit of time but I do understand that 12 drinks had to be made. I think service may have been quicker had there not been only 2 people on the bar. While the venue was lovely when we first walked in, we were left disappointed as the table that we were at was in a really dark area compared to the rest of the bar. Sitting in a not well-lit area to have drinks to celebrate my friend’s hen wasn’t too enjoyable sadly. Thanks.

As it was my sons 21st birthday celebration meal with family, I asked about bringing his cake to the venue in a telephone conversation 2 days prior to our booking...yes, yes yes! I was told, absolutely not a problem, we'll sort that for you. Upon arrival I was told they could not accommodate the cake... so it was sat on the table in a box for the duration of our meal. Other venues have bent over backwards to make 18/21st birthday meals special... they've taken the cake away and brought it out with sparklers/candles singing happy birthday after the main course. Oh well... maybe I was expecting too much. The food was beautiful and enjoyed by everybody. Can not fault the food at all. Service... errrm yeah, the service left a lot to be desired. Struggled to catch anyone's attention to order more drinks. As mentioned in previous reviews, the staff were busy chatting with their colleagues or on their phones and not particularly bothered about serving the customers. Our waitress was efficient but frosty. Asked us if we wanted our change... the service charge was already added so with not great service received... yes please I'd like my £19 change out of 300 quid!!!

Service good, environment great food not so great!!! Had to send wife’s main course back as it was stone cold!!! By the time the food came back we both ended up eating on our own!!!! No one offered to deduct anything off the bill so really disappointed……………..

Lovely food, really accommodating with our large party when some guests were late and really friendly staff. We will definitely return, thank you so much for making my friends birthday so special🫶🏻

This was our first visit to any of the Botanist restaurants and we were really looking forward to it. Our table was booked for around 5.45 and the restaurant was pretty much empty. We were seated and waited ages before anyone came over. Once our order was taken we had to ask 3 times if our drinks were coming. There was at least 3 staff standing by the main entrance chatting amongst themselves and playing on their phones. When our starters arrived 1 was missing and the food was like warm . We always tip but on this occasion we didn’t. I left a review via another review site and was amazed at the response. Whoever manages this restaurant needs further training on feeding back on customers comments. As far as I’m concerned the manager should be talking to their staff about standing around chatting at the entrance, this looks unprofessional and frankly off putting to customers. To say we were very disappointed with The Botanist is an understatement I thought this chain was a bit more up market clearly I was wrong.

Cozy pub right in the docks, walking distance from the cruise port. Although there is no escaping the Beatles teeming almost everywhere in Liverpool, this pub does a great job providing a respite. They had a decent variety of beer from around Europe, but nothing at all local. We really appreciated the relative calm and shelter from all the bustle.

Food was good but the service was extremely slow, constantly asking for drinks from lots of staff and having to wait a long time. They were very quick to ask us to leave the table just as we received the drinks we waited half an hour for though!

Booked for mid afternoon Sunday lunch Booked on line arrived to be told our table was still occupied , not a good start but very pleasant waitress took us over to an unprepared table. Drinks arrived at the very worn and sticky table Nice drinks and water was provided Had to change my seat as the one I was sitting in was very uncomfortable almost cutting into the back of my legs, but a very nice male waiter sorted that out for me. So the main reason for a low review was The Sunday roast chicken was very dry and the vegetables were well less than tepid with burnt hard carrots served in a small cast iron pan. Not good enough for such a prestige’s restaurant in Albert dock liverpool. The ambiance was good and also very popular, they could do better

Food was luke warm. Ordered drinks to begin, all served at same time together felt rushed as table required.

The location is good the service was good but the food wasn't good the hanging giant peri peri kebabs was dry and tough. The king prawn starter was disappointing for the price. It was my birthday upsetting

Booked for food and drinks for a group of 6. 2 of us arrived first and were shown to the table, we waited around 10 minutes for the rest of the party to arrive. It was only after another 10 minutes were we offered any drinks. At no point during the meal were we offered anymore drinks. A portion of chips were missing and this was raised 3 times, we were told that they were on their way but never appeared so we asked to cancel these when we managed to catch someone as the lady had almost finished her meal. We then had to ask them to be removed from the bill. At no point did anyone ask us if everything was okay with our meals or ask if we needed more drinks despite the empty glasses on the table. At the end we queried a couple of things on the bill and the server snatched the bill out of one of the parties hands and went over to the till to rectify the mistake. The drinks area was very busy, the food area was not overly busy but it felt like the staff were avoiding most diners. We had also booked a table for drinks afterwards and they came to tell us that we would lose this table in 5 minutes if we did not move, however we hadn’t been given the bill for dining at that point. I often go to the botanist in different cities as it has lovely food and drinks and the staff are usually fab, but sadly this is the worst experience so far.

Went on my first date with my partner here when it was still smugglers cove. We decided to come back for a nostalgic visit even though it’s since been rebranded as it has nearly the same menu as it did almost 2 years ago. Food is nowhere near as good as it was then. You can tell it’s completely shifted its focus from banging roasts to prinny cocktails. Was 40 mins before we had our drinks, burnt roasties and then there’s a £9 gratuity added on before you pay. Bit cheeky seeing as I had to ask twice for water for the table and twice for gravy.

Very disappointed, if you want over priced food and poor customer service come here! Took 20 minutes between 2 of our friends and me and my husband getting ours. At that point they had finished their meal, when ours eventually came, it was chucked in front of us with the waiting staff just walking off leaving us with no cutlery or asking us if we wanted sauces etc. I had to hunt down staff who were just stood chit chatting. When I eventually tucked into my food, my pitta bread was stone cold and hard, I told the girl behind the bar, I then waited another 10 minutes for some warm bread, by this point my food was cold. If I hadn't paid up front I would of demanded a refund on this rubbish meal. Very very disappointed.
