An amazing meal and the staff were more than helpful when they were really busy and our table was a little late - especially the lady front of house - would definitely go again!

Here for three 1st time food and staff where amazing x I had a little diabetic episode at beginning and the staff where very quick and helpful with offering there help x definitely coming back again thank you

Customer service was amazing and good even better! Started off with lovely bread with dips and a nicely poured pint! Main food was really nice and the dips coupled the meat really nicely!

Last night, I had an amazing dining experience at a buffet steakhouse. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere with delicious aromas filling the air. I started with a fresh salad and seafood appetizers before heading to the grill station, where chefs cooked premium steaks to perfection. I chose a medium-rare ribeye, which was juicy and flavorful. Alongside it, I enjoyed mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, and crispy onion rings. The dessert section was irresistible, featuring chocolate cake and ice cream. The friendly staff and unlimited steak made the experience unforgettable. It was a perfect night of indulgence and satisfaction.

We came a little while ago for a birthday meal with 6 of us and had a table booked for 7 and we didn't get seated until 7:40. Food was very average but came quickly and the the bill was incorrect at the end of the meal. Overall a very poor experience.

The food lived up to the hype on the menu. Plentiful, fresh, and well presented.

Our third time back at smoke and dough for bottomless brunch, and again was absolutely amazing! Food sizzling off the grill and brilliant quality meats. Our waiter Ed was phenomenal, took the time to talk to us, so attentive and replenished our drinks so quickly. Nothing was too much for him, surprised my dad with a cake at the end of the meal and even came to say goodbye to us at the end of his shift, a true gent. Thanks smoke and dough, and thanks Ed!

Food was absolutely delicious, bottomless meat being a very nice way to spend your Saturday afternoon. Atmosphere perhaps too loud, with the music and all the other noise. All in all, definitely worth going to.

It's was ok, just ok, lots of meat, had to wait 40 minutes for a table we had pre booked, was very busy for them.

Ordered the unlimited grill. First course was ok, bread was very oily and sauces bland. Fries were just acceptable (£5 a bit pricey) When ordering extra meat, they delivered very small portions compared with first course. Then had to order again because they were so small, this time the steak was undercooked and looked raw. Then to top it off we were not given the option of service charge, it was automatically added. Whole experience was a bit underwhelming considering price we paid.

Súper recommend I thought that we had to choose which meet we want but actually it came 2 of each meet however very smart to give bread first XP when I back I definitely no eat anything all day ahhaha

Service was very good. Food was wank, BBQ tasted cheap, not nice at all. Pizza was like a cheap aeroplane one. Much better places to eat.

Good spot for a lunch out with friends and family. An additional bonus would be the warm and friendly staff making it an overall good experience for a weekend.

Me and partner had such a lovely time here, we got a table immediately, the food was lovely and the service was amazing, special thanks to Georgia! She was a lovely host for us! We also got some complimentary crème brûlée on behalf of the restaurant which was a really special touch. We recommend this restaurant 100% and the service was spectacular! We will definitely be back!

It was my first time visiting the smoke and dough and the food was absolutely amazing I would definitely recommend visiting when in Liverpool.. they have a fantastic deal which allows you to try a variety of meats for a very reasonable price. Raj and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It’s in a beautiful location at the top of Liverpool one shopping centre. It’s perfect for a date night or any event. I will definitely be visiting again on my next visit.

I don't usually do reviews especially negative ones but was really disappointed with the experience we received tonight. We were told a 20 minute wait for walk-ins which was fine but when I went to the bar to order a drink while we was waiting I was approached by a staff member and asked to hang on until they could seat us as they were trying not to take orders at the bar. We ordered the evening platter and was advised to upgrade to the unlimited meats, which we did and although the food was nice we weren’t asked if we wanted any more items even after sitting there for approx 20 mins so a waste of £10. Staff were too busy chatting and had to be called just for drinks, we had heard good things about this place but overall our experience was awful and we will not be returning which is a shame because like I said the food was lovely such a shame

Came here for my birthday. Excellent food, we had the grill plenty of meat and great value. Drinks were excellent too. Service was very quick and friendly. Would definitely visit again when visiting Liverpool.

Wont go again. Told outside about two different menues but only given one on entering. Slow asking for drinks order. Food was disappointing. Weren't asked if food was ok. Staff were nice though.

I was quite disappointed with this place. In, fed and out in 30 minutes. Not very inviting to stay and enjoy a drink after food. Sides are very over priced and under whelming, main meat platter was lovely and very filling. Staff weren’t interested in negative feed back about the food. They did give us a free drink because they asked us to move tables which was nice as it’s £7 a pint. If you’re shopping and want quick nice food (don’t order the sides) I’d recommend it. But otherwise I’d avoid personally.

Very good restaurant, something new for us who come from Nicaragua, the lamb was delicious, the barbecue was exceptional, I would return again without a doubt, the attention of Saraa and another girl who was there was very good, attentive and helpful.

So disappointed after enjoying the meal to pay the bill and then notice an automatic 10% service charge, which according to the bill was optional - not asked so how could this be optional? We always tip but this will definitely stop us going again

Smoke and Dough is an amazing restaurant but in all honesty I’m reluctant to visit again. The food was delicious and service was friendly. In particular I really recommend the wings. HOWEVER this is a buffet but they don’t let you actually choose what you get. The way it works is you have to have the whole platter to begin with and can’t ask to have items removed (with the exception of pork). You can then ask for more of whatever you like. Now we absolutely hate chicken breast and although we asked to have it removed they said No and we ended up with lots of it. The result is you either fill yourself up with food you don’t like orrr feel guilty for wasting food leaving it untouched on your plate. I ended up leaving the restaurant with a really guilty feeling and so probs won’t go back. Smoke and dough please change this policy

Amazing. Never had a grill experience like it. The meats are amazing, the portions more than one person can manage, service is quick and cheerful, and the price is very good for what you get. The only disappointment is that this is a one off, unique to Liverpool

Fixed menu on the weekend at the moment. Absolutely couldn't eat anymore. Recommend booking as very busy. Staff service excellent.

Family meal for 5 . Had bottomless lunch which wasn't really bottomless as when we asked for top up of chicken skewers and sausage we were given 3 with 2 pieces of chicken instead of individual skewers and 3 quarters of sausage. We had 2 chips and macaroni cheese side orders with 5 lemonades that alone cost £45, Mac cheese was like watered down cheese sauce, lemonades were three quarters of ice in glass. Bread starters were stale ciabatta and cold. Toilets were unclean with no hand wash. The quality of the meat was fatty and tough with steak, lamb chops and ribs. The only thing that was acceptable was the chicken skewers were moist and tasty We have recommended this to family and friends but wouldn't return or recommend again due to quality and cost...

For the price point food is okay. It could be better if they marinate the meat with bit more flavour or optional premium for food quality meat cuts.

£165 for five adults for bottomless BBQ meals steak was tough and there was only approximately £30 pounds worth of meat very poor value for money.

The food was really tasty and you got a lot, we booked a week in advance for 6 people and we had to wait for half hour before we were seated, but people who hadn't pre-booked were seated before us, but apart from that it was fine

Second time this week going, and will be the last, staff/managers attitude is rude. First time going this week was lovely, that's why we returned, to staff that was so rude, waitress was discriminating towards myself, be wary to when you chose to go, may e you need to chose the right night to get the nice staff 😩😭 how sad is this, the amount of service charge at the end, first time going I payed service charge, as staff were lovely, tonight I refuse to pay service charge (it's compulsory) due to rudeness, and I will refuse to go back to this restaurant.

Never been so disappointed with this place before. Me and my partner like to come here for a nice meal when we visit Liverpool however after tonight's experience I don't think we will be returning! On arrival we waited at the front greet desk to be seated, the male that came to greet us didn't say a word, not even hello. He picked up 2 menus and gave a little nod to follow him, he tossed the paper menus on the table and walked away. The minute we sat down a lady came and asked for our order (yet we hadn't had chance to look at the sides to have with the main) eventually we ordered, two tables that ordered after us received there food sizzling and steaming, when ours arrived the gent that placed it in the centre of the table smelt like he had just rolled around in an ashtray and our skillet was cold. The meat was full of grit and fat, the beef patties looked like pieces of birdseye charcoal, there's more meat on a baby's toe than the ribs, the steak don't even get me started... I felt like I was eating a half smoked fag, it didn't taste fresh and tasted like the waiter that served it had used it to put his cig out. We wasn't offered any condiments, the table next to us let us use there salt for the gent that didn't speak to us at the start to get a condiment pot a chuck it on our table. All the tables around us was asked if everything was okay and offered extra meat but we wasn't, we get to towards the end of our visit and asked for the bill for the younge lady to stand staring at the till screen for approximately 10 minutes then disappeared... when we received the bill they had added on the optional 10% service charge, unfortunately for the first ever time we had to ask for this to be removed.

Awful service. Walked in and was told 5-10 minute wait for a table. Bought drinks at the bar and finally got a table 35-40 minutes later. First time we visited and will be the last. We ordered our food which was lovely. Asked for meat as it was bottomless and we were still hungry. Another 45 minutes went by and the waitress asked surprised if our food had came, which it hadn’t. We asked for the bill as we were fed up waiting as the atmosphere was awkward and the service was awful. Paid £70+ for a meal when we left still hungry. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Don’t advertise as bottomless if you’re not prepared to offer the service!!

This place is a rip off. The meat quality is not great the sides are very expensive and small for what you pay. The staff are helpful ish until something goes wrong. It’s also pretty loud in there. Overall we won’t be going back

This place is a scam, they make you come in by saying “bottomless” then for reorder take ages to bring, eventually you will feel your are done and leave.

Went on a Thursday evening and not been before. Heard really good things but was a bit disappointed with the menu choice. Wanted to upgrade to the unlimited menu but couldn't do it individually. Everyone had to but only 2 of us wanted to which left me craving more. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Walk in customers, was told it was a 40 minutes wait to be seated, so we had a gin and tonic and a shandy at the bar £14.50, while we waited ... We waited 75-80 minutes for a table for 2.... The food came quickly and was well presented, were both vegetarian, the halloumi was very salty, the veggie burger was well-done , after we had eaten the table next to us was extended but extremely close to us, we had not paid the bill or left the table when told by a waitress to move up, and started pushing the table while we were still seated . We told her no as did another waiter... A long wait ... poor service and poor food, not worth the money .first and last visit..

Unlimited didn't really come in to play due to one person ordering off the normal menu

We went here for a late bite and were very satisfied with the experience. The variety of meats and quality for the price was very good. The particular cocktail we tried wasn't outstanding, but given the menu being bbq meat, it's my own fault for not getting a beer 🙈

We had a great Birthday meal at the restaurant on the Saturday night. No matter how busy the tables were all the staff never failed to provide such a great service. One member of staff in particular, Julianna, was able to help us conduct a fabulous surprise for the birthday boy and there was laughs and cheers all round. Thanks Julianna and thank you to the rest of the team…Keep at it 👍

Went on Saturday for a family treat, the starter was lovely, got to the main, Chicken was dry, lamb overcooked, steak was like chewing rubber, very disappointed, we couldn't eat most of it and left.

Food was dry and nothing exciting definitely not worth the 245 pound price tag that comes with it for a party of 5 , 23 pound a person for a tray of meat to share is reciduculable and to top it off you can't even take your food home with you wouldn't recommend to anyone and definitely not going again

For £85 we got a massive hot tray of mostly dried out, flavourless meat, a couple of sides, which were nothing special and two drinks each. Absolute rip off.

Our Neice was 18 today & this was her chosen place to celebrate this afternoon. 8 of us had a delicious meal 😋 the lamb chops were my particular favourite a good time was had by all. Will return soon.

i've been here two times previously which were great, but on my most recent third trip it was awful. my family where with me including my baby. we got stared at the entire time we entered to leaving. it was my husbands birthday so he felt extremely uncomfortable eating. including myself. After paying for the all you can eat option. we were watched. i've never been made to feel so uncomfortable. while there i also needed to change my baby. the changing facility's were disgusting. there was two bins under the changing table that had nappies on the floor they were that over loaded. it stunk . my poor baby had to use the changing table over that. hygiene was very poor. at the end my husband had enough of being watched and wanted to leave. we asked for the bill only for them to throw on a "optional" tip without even asking us!

staff are so lovely we came for a birthday for the bottomless brunch and as a vegan they were very accommodating to make sure i had my own separate meals with no cross contamination. alex was great and a pleasure to have serve us tonight :)

Lovely place! Staff super friendly and the food is gorgeous. You can choose a meat platter from either the lunch or evening menu (we chose lunch) and a couple of sides to share as well. Did not disappoint! Would go back.

Very good deal for the amount of food you can have (if you have the stomach for it!) staff are friendly, nice vibe. But AVOID THE SIDES our chips and halloumi fries were horrible. Meat was lovely though!

The girls that greet you at the door are rude & tbh intimidating. We didn’t understand the menu so asked & we got attitude like we were stupid for not understanding it, the men are kind & patient, the girls need to be less assy. Food was amazing
