Ordered food online for delivery and quoted one hour. After the hour I received an email to say the order had been cancelled despite taking a £45 payment which I now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Tried calling on the mobile number provided but no one answering. I will never give them my custom again, shocking service!!!!

We went camping near The Smoking Goat and we decided for the last evening we would have a take away. So we chose here.... WOW 😳 What can I say, absolutely amazing food. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just had a take out katsu curry box which I’ve had before and enjoyed. But this time I was a bit suprised that the tub of curry sauce was supplied cold……..not happy. By time that was warmed the rest had cooled

Ordered at 7 came at 9. 2 hour delivery for a single burger and chips is insane Used to be good but and delivery was fine but now it seems like they couldn't care less the food. Half the time the food is cold and terrible.

This is my Scunny treat. When I come back to see family a smoking goat sharing box is a must have.

I’m the beginning the food was fabulous. Now it really isn’t anywhere near the standard it used to be. This evenings delivery was awful! Luke warm burger, stone cold fries which seemed as though they had been made the previous day so just chewy when warmed up. Sadly, I won’t be using again.

Food is amazing. Something out of this world. Service on the other hand is shocking. Even if you order 4 hours in advance, the wait is still 50 mins +. This is an experience I’ve had both times coming. Would recommend but not of your on a time scale or hate waiting 😂

Delivery time stated 80 minutes (as if that isn’t long enough) and ended up waiting over 2 hours. Food turned up, cold chips, greasy, undercooked burgers, might as well go McDonald’s.

Food was fantastic! Order said it was going to be delivered by 18:22, Smack on time. I ordered The mighty meat, wow 🤤 steak was cooked perfectly and the burger was out of this world! Had a slight problem with missing milkshakes quick call and it was at my door within 5 minutes 5* service. Very happy customer and I will be coming back for this beauty again. Thank you. ❤️

Disgusting service!! Made to wait 1 hour 30 mins for delivery only to be made to wait a further 20 minutes. So when I called them to ask about my food they still had it at the shop so would have been at least another 15 minutes late. They was still waiting for a delivery driver. Other excuse was that they were really busy. So I cancelled my order. Guys you need to sort it out! Food is great but your service is terrible! I’m not the first to made this same complaint!

Awful experience!! Two hours to get the food, 40 mins later than the confirmed time. Food was barely lukewarm, meat overcooked. Terrible experience, never again.

Second time I’ve ordered in the past few months, both times got the munchie box, both times it took over 2 hours to be delivered and when arrived food was cold and quality was poor. I understand it can be busy at times but you don’t expect it to take 2 hours to cook up fast food and be delivered. Last time I’ll order from here.

Reducing rating as past 2 times we have ordered food has been poor. First time cheesy chips were stone cold (cheese had not even started to melt) and second time munchy box only had 2 wings (still covered in large feathers) and hardly any cheese on loaded fries.

Ordered food at 16:39, by 16:41 it was on its way. Food arrived quite quickly however, food was cold, such a shame as flavours where good.

Ordered from their app, food said it would be here by 9:20pm. At 9:50pm-10:15pm i was calling and no answer. Joke of a business would not recommend ordering from them.

Since we went to your sister company in Messingham tonight. We had the table booked for weeks but no one told us it was shut. Family table of 8 is impossible to find at last minute. Thanks for spoiling a family out. I'll never spend a penny at any of your places again.

Ordered takeaway 13/8/23. Disappointed for first time. Quite a number of things not available on menu. Barely any blue cheese or sauce on my burger and the piece of cheesecake very mean for £5. What’s gone wrong. Not worth the money on this occasion

Don’t waste your money on this rubbish the good packaging hides the most dreadful burger I have ever eaten in my life tasted cheap greasy undercooked burger with raw British bacon on top served with over cooked Mac n cheese cold fries cheap milkshake mix l. It’s million miles away from a good restaurant burger. The owners have never eaten in a proper burger join and it shows so sad

This place is usually nice but, on two occasions there was plastic in my milkshakes. The delivery is also usually late.

Excellent value, lovely quality. Would be nice to order burgers on their own as there were too many chips for us.

We sat in to eat. Food was very good but no toilet or wash facilities onsite which to me is very poor. If you want to wash your hands before handling your meal or wash your hands after a very messy meal. If it was takeout only I’d understand but it’s not. We was told to use the toilet down the road. Would go again but wouldn’t sit in and we are not local

If I’m going to be paying £21 for a tiny slither of cheesecake, fries and a burger I want it to at least be piping hot, not stone cold and soggy. I thought I’d try the smoking goat once again after multiple poor orders arriving cold and inedible and yet again I have been disappointed. Also added the sauce I asked to not have in the burger. DO NOT ORDER.

Had burgers from here (delivery) 3 times. Only once the food arrived hot. Decided to eat in to guarantee hot food and it still arrived barely warm. Great burgers let down by being lukewarm. Never again - shame.

The BBQ Chicken loaded fries are my go to from the smoking goat, it is cheap, delicious and very filling in the end and I really can't get enough of them!

Unbelievable food it’s banging staff are all ways helpful also deleivery times have got a lot better since moving shop 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Was recommended via work colleagues and I have to say they were right. We ordered take out. Staff very helpful and polite. Ordered 3 different burgers. Wasn't keep waiting to long. Food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. And am personally very picky. Will definitely be back 😋

I ordered two hamburgers that were supposed to arrive between 6:40 and 7pm. Around 7:30, after trying numerous times to get an update from uber eats, I decided to contact the restaurant through Facebook because the phone number they put on uber eats and on the website does not exist. The person answered me quickly but was super unprofessional, he/she got mad because I was complaining about the waiting time. If I had known it would be over an hour late I would have ordered elsewhere. Anyway, my order arrived at 7:50 pm and it was disappointing! The food was totally cold, the chicken super dry, only half cheese and the bun was old, it was probably frozen. Horrible food, wouldn't even give that to my dog. Disgusting food, unprofessional service and super late delivery. I DON’T recommend this place even to my worst enemy. I should have read their reviews before ordering as there are so many complaints!!!

I have no complaints my triple cheeseburger and barbecued chicken fries was gorgeous and my friends burger and pizza fries was just as good. Was also ready bang on the time of pickup. All in all very happy

Best takeaway in Scunthorpe. We ordered for the first time having cancelled plans for being out for dinner. Portions were huge! Great packaging which meant that burger bun wasn’t soggy and chips remained crisp. Definetly value for money as we have leftover for tomorrow night. Burgers were handmade and fresh with a great flavour. Would definetly recommend!

Amazing food! 1st time trying it and wasn't disappointed!!

I ordered at the shop and it took quite a while to come. I ordered the steak topped fries. It was OK, the chips were fine, the steak was very gristle, the gravy was nice. The portion was smaller than accepted. I was disappointed with how they dealt with me saying the steak was gristle, seemed to respond to others saying the same thing in a better way.

Really clean, lovely environment and friendly service. Nice meals. You get what you pay for really!

Thought I’d give this place another try since the move to Ashby but the same problems are still there. Food arrived cold like the last 2 orders I’ve placed, it was obviously hot at one point as the lettuce had wilted to a point that it was brown. Order was wrong, one meal came with cheese on the chips that wasn’t requested. Real shame as this place could be great if they could sort out the quality control but they still won’t or can’t. I won’t be ordering here again and suggest you don’t either.

Some one was treating me to lunch who doesn't have alot of spare cash. I saw the prices and refused to let them pay. No menu as its all on line if you download the app. So I ordered coffee while we did this. Only to be told you make your own. I have black coffee which is a 5ml spoon of coffee and hot water. £2.50 a cup that you make your self. No customer service at all. Will not be going back.

Friendly staff, great quality food and good portion sizes too. Really tasty, myself and some workmates wanted to go and have a proper burger and this really hit the spot. I had a triple stack with cheese and loaded fries and really enjoyed it. 👍

Ordered through Uber eats turned up half a hour late freezing cold even though they said they update Uber eats wiv delivery times didn’t will not be ordering again first and last time DEFINITELY AVOID

Very disappointed when i got my food, any respectable place that offers steak should be able to do it to the customers specifications e.g rare, medium rare etc now i get why they only offer pink or well done because its actually not steak that i recieved its slices of a beef joint ... which came tough and chewy, store bought coleslaw that they want to charge £2.50 for, The triple chocolate cake comes with tiny pot of cream and is the cheap one you get at takeaways nothing special which i thought since they are charging £5 it would be a different nicer one most takeaways only charge £2.50 for it i would never go again id honestly stay away cant sell a beef joint as rump steak.

Ordered my food at 7.41 and after 30mins of waiting I got an email to say that delivery has been delayed by 40 mins and that the new delivery time would be 9.15. When it got to 9.45 and still no delivery I contacted the shop and they said it would be delivered just after 10pm and that they had thrown in a dessert as an apology. When it finally got delivered at 10.45pm I found it sub-par and not as good as the food used to be. The dessert was a strawberry cheese cake and I'm quite allergic to strawberries so found it hard to eat the food with swollen lips that I could hardly open. Don't think I will be ordering again.

Delivery time can be a bit dicey, but we're yet to be disappointed. Food is always delicious. My wife isnt a burger fan at all, but she absolutely loves theirs. I would recommend giving them a try... Just be flexible about the delivery times - still worth it!

Order was missing the children's food. They apparently don't have a working phone, so we weren't able to ring them to bring the missing food. We could only Facebook message them. Unfortunately with no reply until gone 9pm, do we still want the kids burger? BIT LATE Not only were we missing part of the order, but what did arrive was cold! Obviously, complained to them for all of the above. They only offered to replace the kids burger. They refused to refund my order. After complaining further, they did then offer a replacement order (I wanted a refund but they kept refusing). So we agreed to a replacement order. They agreed they could bring it today at 5pm. 4:30pm rolls around, I'm getting the kids ready for dinner arriving... I get a Facebook message from smoking goat, they're not coming. Another let down. I have again, asked for a full refund. I am awaiting a response, but I am not hopeful given the customer service I have received so far. I would thoroughly recommend you DO NOT order with them.

Awful service ordered for 8.30, had enough at 9.10 so went to shop. To be told it was sent 20mins ago funny I live 5 mins away. Turned up after another 5mins. So 25mins to be delivered equates to cold food needing to be warmed up in microwave. Shame they don't do cash on delivery because I would of kept my money and told them to take it back. This is not a one off this is the second time only the last time it was nearly an hour half late. Lesson learned never again.

At least 15 minutes late after our order was put back an extra 20 minutes than what it stated when we ordered. Milkshakes were warm, burger patty’s were tiny compared to the buns with zero flavour at all, chips were over cooked and inedible, salt and pepper chicken wasn’t nice more like sweet and sour compared to what it used to be. We thought since you’d moved maybe you would’ve improved but honestly it is worse than what we had the last time we tried you a few months ago. Used to be our favourite takeaway as a treat over a year ago and you’ve gone down hill. Will not be ordering again

Ordered a bbq chicken burger and loaded chicken fries. It took 2 hours to be delivered and came with no chicken in the burger and no chicken on the fries. As well as this it arrived cold.

Order online 2x burgers 1x lemon and peper wings than go inside and order rees ice creem all been payd than go for collection bren told they dint have rees so take another when i come home have surprise as bbq wing and written on top sorry dont have lemon & peper and give me bbq which i hate and so spend money for travel and money for food which i dont eat and just throw to bin also try call them 27x and no answer will never buy again

Ordered at 8:20pm delivery said it would arrive at 9:21pm thought that was a long time an hour for 2 burger and chips! Oh well Friday night must be busy. Hadn’t arrived at 9:50pm so called the shop to be told it was leaving in 5 minutes, said we had expected it 30 mins ago and was offered drinks free, hell no don’t delay it any more! We waited an hour and 40 minutes for a triple stack that was dry as hell and a halloumi burger that had 1 piece of onion and 1 pickle and so much sweet chilli sauce I had to scrape half of it off so I could eat it, food was luke warm when it arrived,all for the sum of £28:33. Over priced, under quality, and nearly 2 hours wait. Don’t bother- very disappointing.

I eat here frequently, couldn’t ask for anything more. Happy to finally have a proper takeaway shop in Scunthorpe. Food is always hot when it arrives, top quality and competitive prices. No wonder it’s so hard to get a delivery! Always pre-order from their website if you’re planning to try!

Very rude customer service will not be placing an order again

Placed an order at 6pm and the website advised it would be with me in 60 minutes. Called around 7.45pm to ask about my order and was told they are running behind and order will be with me within a further 15/20 minutes. Food came just before 8.10pm and was cold with no sauces. (Everytime iv ordered, we have collected and have received sauces with our order). So i called the shop again and asked about the sauces, was told they will send them out straight away then i get a call from them saying i didn't ask for them and the woman (Nicole) started arguing with me over the phone all the whilst my food was getting even colder and then she decides to rudely hang up on me and also not send any sauces. Disgusting customer service to say the least and overly priced as 2 burgers cost me over £25, you would think they could give atleast 1 tub of sauce for paying that much. Totally disappointed with the service i have received today and did not enjoy the food after i have been raving on about this place too. Will not be ordering again from a place with disgraceful customer service! Not to mention they have blocked me from their instagram page, totally professional.

Slow delivery is an understatement. They state the food may take an hour and a half, but to phone after a 2 hrs 15 min wait to be told it hasn't even left the restaurant yet is ridiculous. Can't wait to receive our cold food.

Absolutely shocking, ordered 24 hours prior via Uber eats to make sure we could try smoking goat for the first time.. To see a notification as we were just about to set off to pick it up saying they have cancelled the order as they were too busy (what sort of excuse is this?) The manager on the phone couldn’t even apologise just kept saying they are busy.. don’t allow orders to be taken 24 hours prior to customers picking it up then!! Will not be trying this place after this absolutely shocking experience, huge disappointment.

Ordered from here for the first time to then get our order canceled 30+ minutes after paying, then to be told it's because it's to busy and we will get a refund tomorrow. I have worked in restaurants for 15 years and never cancelled orders because it's to busy poor excuse. If your to busy why not just stop orders not let people order then cancel after half an hour?

Ordered the burger on Fri the presentation was lovely but it was Luke warm the burger had no taste and there was Grissel the chips cold the cheese salty I was really disappointed would I order again no sorr to expensive for whot it is hope you get better

Nice location/setting but the food is really average considering it’s owned by the people at Brat (incredible food/experience). It’s a nice place to meet up for some drinks/snacks but it’s a bit overpriced for the food you get personally

Just had a delivery from these guys it was amazing the beef is just melt in the mouth and my mate had the chicken burger that looked amazing and my partner had the bbq pulled chicken beef burger he said it was just right and he's picky with food haha.

Delicious food, easily the best burgers around here.
