Tremendous. We had a party of 11 and the service was tremendous. We stayed longer than originally anticipated and the staff accommodated us, extending our booking for another few hours, making sure we didn't need to move, etc. Food was brilliant, prices are good. Definitely recommend this place!

We had booked and table we were allocated was in middle of floor there was 4 other tables of 2 available and we asked to move we were told at 2'10 that we would need to vacate the table by 3 we had even ordered food 20 mins past no one took our order however when the food arrived it was great! the lovely girl changed times on our table and brought a glass of prosecco each for our anniversary the steak pie looked great I ordered that but had run out wasn't disappointed with the steak will return for steakpie

Sophie was great! Very accommodating and friendly. Place was heaving and I still got a chair somehow, and the food came out pretty quick. Word to the wise maybe book if you want a table

Great food, (butternut squash and sage ravioli) and wonderful service for a large group. The music was a touch loud, and made it a bit difficult to hear, but overall had a great time!

Spent a night here for a birthday party, food was really good, brilliant choice of drinks and staff were excellent. The pub was really busy but the turn over at the bar was really quick so no long waits.

Always a great visit to this award winning bar. Brilliant drink selection, restaurant quality food and amazing customer service. A wee city gem.

I dropped in with friends for breakfast at this club. We ordered "Full Scottish Breakfast" and a starter "Haggis bon bons" which cost a bit too much for a starter and for 5 small balls. But it was good, I have to admit that but the price was not too friendly. Full Scottish Breakfast tasted very good to us, very well prepared, good portion also very filling. Bathrooms super clean! Super well-kept, especially women's. Service very nice, I highly recommend it for breakfast!

Solid little pub. I can't comment on the food since I only had drinks, but I'd absolutely come back to try it. Staff is great and the atmosphere is great!

Very nice pub just beside central station. Plenty of TVs for watching football. Very busy with reservations in the main restaurant area. Sat in the pub bit and ordered food. Took a while to come, probably as so busy. Food very nice. Good selection of beers - recommend the Baltic IPA.

We didn't book, but after a short wait at the bar, Scu found us a seat. We had great service. food and drinks. The picture tells it all.

Had a few in here a few years back and now working up here for 2-3 months so me an the lads will be making it our local great friendly staff goog vibrant atmosphere and the footballs on about 10 teles whats not to like😎😎😎🍺🍺

Had a really lovely meal at the Smokin' Fox. Steak frites were very tasty with lots of peppercorn sauce included in the price. The only negative was the cost of the wine which I think was overpriced compared to other places.

Was haveing a drnk with my friends in the afternoon and was going straight out with my wife at 6.00pm so decided to order a pizza as it was before 5.00pm the meal was £8.00. Service wws good and large 12 inch pizza was thin crust and delicious.

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon cocktail tasting & had some snacks to soak them up. Cocktail tasting isn't an event they offer but after trying them all we would recommend it. A wide range of cocktails and the food was amazing. We had loaded fries, salt and vinegar onion rings and some delicious olives. All of it was exceptional the service was great and we would love to return if we're in the area again

Atmospheric place! Perhaps it would be more fun to show something other than continuously repeating sports news on the TVs when there are no matches. Video clips or something like that.

Had a fantastic day out here! What a hidden gem right next to Central. I was recommended to come here by a friend and I was not disappointed. A warm welcome when we arrived, we had booked a table which I would recommend as it got extremely busy very fast. My partner had the steak which was cooked to perfection and very juicy. I had the fish and chips and I can’t even. The best I’ve tasted in many years. We were very impressed and will definitely be back. Drinks and food are reasonably priced which was even more surprising. I never review but I just wanted to give a thank you for the wonderful experience. Keep up the good work!

Cozy bar-restaurant in the heart of Glasgow. Very friendly, the food came quickly - there are fish and chips, toasts, soups... At moderate prices! Of course it's not a gourmet restaurant. Sports events can be watched on several televisions.

Wow! If you visit Glasgow visit this place! Just around the corner from Central station. Staff were welcoming and friendly- and attentive. Food was excellent! (We chose to share loads of starters- recommend wings, haggis balls, loaded nachos!) Beer was smooth, cold, refreshing! What more could you ask for from a Smokin Hot venue? Go to the 💨 🦊!

Don't mind dogs in the bar , however I do object to the dog sitting on the furniture, food being served..been in a few times and the bar is great and the food

Went here Friday tea time for food and drinks and have to say the staff were absolutely amazing. It was my birthday they had a sign and balloons on the table got a free drink and a cake. They couldn't have done more, so attentive. The food was beautiful as well as the cocktails. Couldn't fault it one bit 5⭐️

Amazing, upscale pub in downtown Glasgow, convenient location. Busy night due to Euro '24, but staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Met a gentleman in Edinburgh who saw my shirt and exclaimed "That's my favorite pub!" Wife loved her ravioli, and you must try the Steak Pie!

Really great pub food, we loved our meal here. The food is on the pricier side but worth it because it all tasted delicious and fresh. They also do a good lunch deal that’s more affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went for some food and drinks here before a concert with some friends. It was the first time I've ever been. The food was incredible.. we didn't want to have full meals so we got a bunch of starters to share between us. I can't rave enough about how tasty it was. The cocktails were lovely too, a little pricey, but nice for a wee treat. The staff were friendly and the place was jumping with people so clearly very popular. But I can see why!

Pub was extremely busy, few dishes were not available and you could see that staff were working under a lots of pressure however they were great and helpful. I'll come back when they won't be as busy. Handy 20% off for nhs workers.

Ambience absolutely worth seeing. Sports bar through and through. For regular guests, friends after shopping, business people and tourists. Drink selection very good. Since we didn't eat anything here, we unfortunately can't say anything about it. But the portions at the next table were large and the eaters didn't look dissatisfied...

Just finished my first ever meal here and had to leave a review as I’ve loved my food and the service today! Had chicken shawarma which was spot on, and the service was excellent! Lovely atmosphere, not too snobby or pushy and there was table service too! Obviously more cost wise than a spoons but you get what you pay for. Will definitely be coming again next time I’m in Glasgow!

Fun pub, eclectic sports vibe with a relaxing atmosphere. Delicious food! We had the haggis bon bons and steak pie. Good selection of drinks. There was a mix up with our order do they gave us entire meal and more drinks for free! Friendly service the entire time. Highly recommend for a chill time.

This was our first trip to the Smokin’ Fox. It had great food and the service was the best we’ve found in Scotland. Our waiter’s name was Sam. He was brand new and only his second day on the job. He was great! Sam, Brodie and Paton checked on us several times to make sure we had all we needed. We enjoyed everything! Nice job to the manager, wait staff and the chefs!

This place looks like a pub, but it's the most elevated pub I have ever been to. The customer service is perfect, attentive but not intrusive. They also ask every table about allergies when ordering, which is very thoughtful. The womens bathroom has free hygiene products (always a sign of top class establishments). And the food was typical pub food, but modernized. The haggis balls were delicious and the wee cesar salad was fancy. My only suggestion is to reduce the amount of dressing on the salad. 100% recommend this place.

Had another fantastic afternoon at The Fox. Staff always helpful and quick and in particular Sophie and another girl tgat I don’t know the name of. She is in the picture I have attached.

Food was really nice. A friend had the steak and said it was delicious. The drinks were really good as well and would recommend the twister cocktail. Only thing I would say is it is one of the loudest venues I’ve Been to.

Excellent pub located just a stones throw from Glasgow Central Station. Opted to sit outside watching the world go by in the glorious sunshine. Didn't get food, but from what I saw on offer, it looked decent. Nice to see Peroni Red on the beer list.

Discovered a find in Glasgow, …. Well OK it’s been there a while, but we’ve just found it !! Atmosphere is great, staff are really nice and helpful, the food …. ? The food was delish !! The prawn cocktail 🦐 was ( apparently the best prawn cocktail she’s had in a very long time !!! ), magnificent, my haggis balls ( no jokes please, 🤡 especially not the highland haggis, or the lowland haggis comparison ) …. My balls were amazing and the main courses …. First class all the way !! Great job kitchen ! . . Sorry about the prawn cocktail picture … it was half scoffed before I had my phone out 🤦🏻‍♂️ Oh, nearly forgot …. the larger is like nectar …. you’ll have to try it. 🍺

Great, friendly service from the 2 young fellas behind the bar and nice and relaxed atmosphere in the place. Will definitely visit again next time we're in Glasgow. Update: Visited again yesterday (17.04.24) this time for tea before train home. Excellent quality cuisine and service. Staff very helpful. I had a lovely fish and chips, "The Enemy" had an excellent burger. We'll make this place a regular stop on each visit to Glasgow and would highly recommend to anyone.

Really nice pub close to Central Station. Menu is varied and reasonably priced. I opted for the chicken ceasar burger. Staff were very friendly. As it was busy, they asked if we were staying a while, and reserved our table for the remainder of the evening.

Agie the GM here is truly an asset to the company. The hospitality she showed was unmatched. I came here waiting for a flight and she was extremely welcoming as were all the staff. She showed the great offerings the brewery had to offer and was an absolute pleasure. Will definitely return if I come back to Glasgow. Thank you!

This was such a gem when we stayed in Glasgow! The lunch menu was amazing value for money (only £10 and the menu is available until 5pm!). I recommend chicken schnitzel and beef burger :) They offered water in a bowl for our dogs. There were also dog toys so super dog friendly :)

Food was fantastic. Service was even better. Pagan have 5 star service. Thursday night and the atmosphere was bang on. ❤️

After a long walk around Glasgow, we needed a rest and a drink before we headed off for a train. This lovely place caught our eye. A great open plan pub with a range of beers to suit most. No real ale options I could see, but a few good IPA options. We didn't have food but the options looked good. Staff were lovely and helpful and made us welcome, prices within expected ranges for a city centre. The place seemed fairly light and spacious, although it was raining outside which meant it wasn't as light as it probably gets. Tables of various sizes and heights to suit most patron requirements, I should imagine. Behind the main front area was a dining area with plenty more seating. Toilets are downstairs although I think I saw disabled on the main floor. An interesting point here, though, is the suitability for use in a zombie apocalypse. Large windows are always a tricky defensive point, but there's plenty of tables that could be useful. The fact they've got plenty of beer and food means it'd be a reasonable shout for the first week or so while you get your crew together to strike out somewhere more long term.

We stumbled onto this place and took a chance on it. Best decision we made. The food, choice of beer, and friendliness of the staff made this a really pleasant experience. So much so, we went back the following day, and that too was great experience. Next time we're back in the city we will definitely head here.
