The Smokin' Fox in Glasgow City

Had an excellent Sunday roast dinner. Food was outstanding and staff were attentive and friendly. My sister and I are both disabled in different ways and required a bit of extra help with the menu, steps, etc but absolutely nothing was too much bother.The whole experience was amazing and we both very much appreciated all the kindness we received. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be returning with family members.

All the food was fantastic - fish and chips were one of the best I ever had, the Mac and Cheese with truffle was excellent, and the Haggis bon bons were very tasty. Noah, our server, was super friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing pub with a welcoming vibe! The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was the star—tender, juicy steak, gooey melted cheese, and a perfectly toasted roll. Every bite was packed with flavor! The drinks were great, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere made it perfect. Highly recommend for anyone craving a top-notch cheesesteak and a great time!

Food way above expectations. All the staff are warm, friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is always great. Found this little gem last year and I would now call it my local.

EXACTLY what I was looking for - A pub that serves decent food that wasn’t too pricy, especially the £10 lunch menu. I had the sage & butternut squash ravioli in salsa verde sauce. Such friendly staff and a really happy ambience with great beer selection. Perfect.

The customer service and welcome is incredible. Steven lit up the bar with a smile, incredible service and nothing was too much to ask. The food was fab and the atmosphere was great but his ‘can do’ attitude and friendly personality made us want to stay all day!

After waiting ages for our meal in the afternoon I wouldn't want to see it at peak times ? When they eventually arrived the steak pie came in a small bowl with literally a big bone stuck in the middle of it and when you removed it there was hardly any pastry left . I would love to know why they insist on sticking a large bone in the middle of a steak pie ? I certainly wouldn't rush back and none of my party of 5 would either.

First time we have visited The Smokin Fox , no idea why as we are out in Glasgow all the time . I think we will be regulars now , the staff are excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The Nachos we had were excellent, drink prices are reasonable. Also they accept blue light card which gives you a 20 % off your bill . I'm glad we have found this place now , looking forward to a return visit very soon . This is how a pub should be 😀🍻

The food was delicious here, was pleasantly surprised. The twisted cocktail was excellent as well. One minor criticism, the mushy peas on the fish and chips were not mushy peas and more mashed garden peas.

Great Bar and the Food Menu is really good. However they lost the table reservation which put a bit of a damper on the night. I also find it very noisy and hard to have a conversation

3rd time eating at the Smokin Fox. Food is delicious and well presented. I had the steak pie which takes a bit longer to prepare but 100% worth the wait. Staff attentive without being in your face. Only down side is the quick turnaround of table time, when your booked time is up you have to move but that just shows how popular it is so not a big issue.

Nice food and Service, thought it was a bit pricey so went over the bill and we had been overcharged for food plus quite a high service charge was included both of which did dissapoint us, they did remove both as we prefer to pay a tip as per our own choice, just also no explanation of how the overcharge occurred as it had the correct food referenced but incorrect price.

Service was good, atmosphere was okay. I had the steak sandwich and steak was a bit chewy. Nachos were amazing.

Staff very friendly and accommodating for my girlfriend’s birthday, pork belly, cheeseburger and gambas pil pil were amazing. Cocktails also great and a freebie for her birthday.

We went for our office Christmas dinner, I didn’t have any expectations on food, surprisingly the food was great. I would the place again during Christmas holidays. Busy crowd.

Had a few drinks before I went home.

Ended up here by luck when visiting Glasgow as it was open at 11am on a Sunday and showing the football. As a solo traveller it can be apprehensive going into places on your own, but I was made so welcome by all the staff, great service. I wasn't planning on ordering food but when I saw the plates coming out the kitchen I knew I had to. Small menu but you know then things will be done well. I wasn't disappointed. Best avocado on toast I've ever had 10/10. I'll definately be back the next time in up in Glasgow. Thanks guys

Fast becoming one of my favourite places. The drink options are always great and the staff could not be lovelier. Sophie makes a mean spicy margarita! Thanks to Pegan who helped me to book an area for an upcoming day out!

Only in for drinks but lovely atmosphere and toilets immaculate which ia always important. Good selection and staff very knowledgeable on IPAs on offer.

Tremendous. We had a party of 11 and the service was tremendous. We stayed longer than originally anticipated and the staff accommodated us, extending our booking for another few hours, making sure we didn't need to move, etc. Food was brilliant, prices are good. Definitely recommend this place!

We had booked and table we were allocated was in middle of floor there was 4 other tables of 2 available and we asked to move we were told at 2'10 that we would need to vacate the table by 3 we had even ordered food 20 mins past no one took our order however when the food arrived it was great! the lovely girl changed times on our table and brought a glass of prosecco each for our anniversary the steak pie looked great I ordered that but had run out wasn't disappointed with the steak will return for steakpie

Great food, (butternut squash and sage ravioli) and wonderful service for a large group. The music was a touch loud, and made it a bit difficult to hear, but overall had a great time!

Spent a night here for a birthday party, food was really good, brilliant choice of drinks and staff were excellent. The pub was really busy but the turn over at the bar was really quick so no long waits.

Always a great visit to this award winning bar. Brilliant drink selection, restaurant quality food and amazing customer service. A wee city gem.

I dropped in with friends for breakfast at this club. We ordered "Full Scottish Breakfast" and a starter "Haggis bon bons" which cost a bit too much for a starter and for 5 small balls. But it was good, I have to admit that but the price was not too friendly. Full Scottish Breakfast tasted very good to us, very well prepared, good portion also very filling. Bathrooms super clean! Super well-kept, especially women's. Service very nice, I highly recommend it for breakfast!

Very nice pub just beside central station. Plenty of TVs for watching football. Very busy with reservations in the main restaurant area. Sat in the pub bit and ordered food. Took a while to come, probably as so busy. Food very nice. Good selection of beers - recommend the Baltic IPA.

We didn't book, but after a short wait at the bar, Scu found us a seat. We had great service. food and drinks. The picture tells it all.

Had a few in here a few years back and now working up here for 2-3 months so me an the lads will be making it our local great friendly staff goog vibrant atmosphere and the footballs on about 10 teles whats not to like😎😎😎🍺🍺

Had a really lovely meal at the Smokin' Fox. Steak frites were very tasty with lots of peppercorn sauce included in the price. The only negative was the cost of the wine which I think was overpriced compared to other places.

Was haveing a drnk with my friends in the afternoon and was going straight out with my wife at 6.00pm so decided to order a pizza as it was before 5.00pm the meal was £8.00. Service wws good and large 12 inch pizza was thin crust and delicious.

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon cocktail tasting & had some snacks to soak them up. Cocktail tasting isn't an event they offer but after trying them all we would recommend it. A wide range of cocktails and the food was amazing. We had loaded fries, salt and vinegar onion rings and some delicious olives. All of it was exceptional the service was great and we would love to return if we're in the area again

Atmospheric place! Perhaps it would be more fun to show something other than continuously repeating sports news on the TVs when there are no matches. Video clips or something like that.

Had a fantastic day out here! What a hidden gem right next to Central. I was recommended to come here by a friend and I was not disappointed. A warm welcome when we arrived, we had booked a table which I would recommend as it got extremely busy very fast. My partner had the steak which was cooked to perfection and very juicy. I had the fish and chips and I can’t even. The best I’ve tasted in many years. We were very impressed and will definitely be back. Drinks and food are reasonably priced which was even more surprising. I never review but I just wanted to give a thank you for the wonderful experience. Keep up the good work!

Cozy bar-restaurant in the heart of Glasgow. Very friendly, the food came quickly - there are fish and chips, toasts, soups... At moderate prices! Of course it's not a gourmet restaurant. Sports events can be watched on several televisions.

Wow! If you visit Glasgow visit this place! Just around the corner from Central station. Staff were welcoming and friendly- and attentive. Food was excellent! (We chose to share loads of starters- recommend wings, haggis balls, loaded nachos!) Beer was smooth, cold, refreshing! What more could you ask for from a Smokin Hot venue? Go to the 💨 🦊!

Don't mind dogs in the bar , however I do object to the dog sitting on the furniture, food being served..been in a few times and the bar is great and the food
