Queen's Park Cafe in Glasgow City

Been in 8-9 times … just found out there’s a big snug at the back……(not a wee one) ideal for a quiet spot 👍 - also great sitting outside in better weather - the bit in the middles great too! Lots for different folk.

Good atmosphere and very well priced pints at £4.10.

Popped in for a pint while my Granddaughter was at a nearby dance class. I have been in here before and it's a nice quiet pub and the lady who served me was very friendly. The service was also very quick albeit it was a Thursday night and haven't been in when it's been overly busy. I will still pop in again soon.

Good boozer pre Scotland matches, can get busy!

A very well kept public house, beautiful oval wooden n bar and gantry, staff were very efficient and polite, price were not over the top.

I haven't eaten here yet but have stopped by for a drink sat outside was relaxing and friendly staff too.

We did not eat here, I don't think this is an option, the lager is great, the soft drinks are too. The prices are really good. Tha atmosphere and regulars are great.

Excellent friendly pub with attentive staff. Well worth a visit One of the customers advised this was Mark McManus local,ie the bloke who played Taggart.He might have been pulling my leg though. In any case nice place for a pint of heavy.

It’s fine, but the proper pubs branding saying “don’t do dry January” rubbed me the wrong way. I understand that the pub doesn’t control that but still. Solid choice if you’re in govanhill.

Good pint of Tennents Lager,was quiet when I visited not one of the cheapest pubs I have visited.

Quite quiet when we called but being such a large bar area with a Fantastic period bar it was not empty in fact other local bars would have been full. Great service Guinness was⁹l

I didn't have food so not sure if they sell it I was sitting at the back of the pub and it was comfy and quiet because of the time and day I was in but service was fantastic and I will definitely be going back on busier sat night

What a fantastic experience! The barman Michael was so attentive, he also just had a fresh trim, his hair was looking so fleek! Such a magical evening.

QPC is a great pub, always a fab atmosphere even (or perhaps especially) when it's standing room only. Staff are friendly, drinks are reasonable. Never had or seen food there.

Lovely pub, visited on a beautifulifully sunny Late afternoon/early evening which may have explained why it was so quiet. Staff friendly if a little perfunctory but diffinately worth a visit and very handy for the park

Whilst the rugby was on and the pub was relatively busy queuing for close to 10 minute to get served doesn't add anything to my day. Otherwise just a decent pub with a decent atmosphere.

Myself and my new fiance popped in for a celebratory rum or three after getting engaged and were pleasantly surprised by the caliber of tunes playing. We couldn't determine the source of the music...could have been a jukebox, could have been a cheeky phone plugged in. No idea. Anyways, did I mention we had just gotten engaged? We had. In the rain. It was actually really romantic. The proposal I mean, not the pub. It's a nice boozer, granted but probably not the best place to actually pop the question. Cheap booze. Good service (corduroy guy, the guvnor and trial shift - cheers guys) and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

A great wee spot in the Southside with friendly staff, a well stocked bar and it's dog friendly too.

Vry nyc. Massive improvement from a few years ago. Great feel and vibe to this pub.

First interview never settled. Told it was end of keg and new pint was grand. Still, not what you expect.

Sat out for drinks on a busy Saturday. Friendly bar man and nice mix of customers both inside and out. Would definitely return.

Fab wee bar, but the short tubby middle aged barman needs a personality... treats you like a nobody when you're getting served, no eye contact, looks uninterested. I'm a manager and would not have this guy customer facing. Rest of the staff are brilliant 👏

Great pub, nice bartender, came over to chat for a bit about whisky. Even gave us a partial pour of some Bowmore since the bottle was almost run dry.

Was at the Queens Park as we were all djing next door at Some Great Reward, not my kinda place at first but after getting a pint and talking to the staff and all the people, I have to say it's one of the friendliest places I have been in years. Really, really enjoyed it.

Nice selection, good.music and football on TV was visible.from most chairs, would come back.

Slow service and Bar staff rude. Left to eat food as they weren’t serving any, to then return and see our table taken after they agreed to reserve it for the short time we were away. Felt a long time getting served as well, so vying for their attention I stood half way towards the bar from our seats, and before I got a word in he condescendingly instructed me to return to my seat. male staff member running about like a heedless chicken, unwilling to detach and keep a level head. Understand if the bar was busy, but even then, if u can’t handle the pace or don’t enjoy it then reassess ur position rather than unloading on your customers. G’day.

Lovely place for a pint and lots of TVs for sport. The quieter area in the back is good for chatting with friends. The circular bar is impressive however sometimes it can feel like you're waiting a long time to get served.

An excellent pint of Guiness. Landlord spoke to me and was polite, humorous and knowledgeable. The pub was busy when I visited but very nice to sit and chat in. A traditional, friendly, calm and very pleasant bar to sit in. Most enjoyable.

Couple of beers here before the match, full of characters.

Slow staff and although another customer and a calculator showed the correct change I was due, I was told I wasn't getting it by the barmaid. Wasn't about the money, just the attitude.

Great pub of the old fashioned kind. A few elderly regulars mixed with young sensible groups. Tvs which show sports I believe, not too busy. Staff are lovely down to earth folk n prices are reasonable. Cozy wee snug at the back if ye fancy it. All - inuding toilets were clean. Love it.

Love this place where all my family have drunk in for 80 years and god rest Ted and Vincent who drank there till they passed away .Queens park cafe will always be in the English and Greene hearts xx

Really really cheap pub. It's a sports bar which is fine but bare in mind it might busy during game times.
