Delicious steak and sides.. very fast service today keep it up!

food was disappointing, servers were kind and friendly, sirloin was fattier than the ribeye, cosy atmosphere

The sirloin I ordered was extremely chewy and had lots of visible fat all around it. It made cutting the steak very annoying and some pieces i cut had more fat than actual meat. My stomach felt wierd after the meal and i had to vomit outside. Service was good though.

The food is ok. However , a waitress kept coming to the table interrupting conversation and asking to bring the bill when you have not finished . Someone should teach those waitresses some manners.

We booked a table for 12 people. Once we got there, another friend wanted to join us. We requested a table for 13 upon which,, even though two thirds of the restaurant was empty, we were told 'you booked a table for twelve so you will just need to squeeze up'. We asked to be seated elsewhere so and it was a challenge for the staff. Firstly we were sent starters when we hadn't ordered them and they were clearly for another table. When our order did arrive, one steak was cold. One was very rare even though a well done was requested. All the food came at different times meaning some were eating and some just looking. A couple of items were missing and we kept getting asked by announcement if someone else had the missing food. As its an honest review, I must add that the steak I was served was cooked well. The mojito was full of ice in a very small glass so felt a little cheated. Other than a girl from Belgium, who was super organised and friendly, everyone else seemed to be doing us a favour rather than serving us. When the bill came, the very member of staff who didn't want us to sit on a bigger table, said, 'I hope you guys tip us well'. Found this to be a little cheap. I've been here before and it's been great. This time it was disappointing. I still want to come eat here in the future, so I hope the owners take this as constructive feedback rather than anything malicious.

Our experience at Steak Lounge and Grill was disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. Despite notifying the staff that we had an additional guest, no real effort was made to accommodate us. Instead, we were told to simply add another chair to the end of our table, making the setup cramped and uncomfortable. This lack of professionalism set the tone for the rest of the evening. Starters that we didn’t order were brought to the table, and there were significant delays between dishes being served. When the food finally arrived, many plates were cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. To make matters worse, several sides were missing for multiple guests, leaving people waiting even longer for what should have been included with their meals. The steak doneness was consistently wrong across the table—some steaks were undercooked and rare when medium was ordered, while others were overcooked and dry. The waiter, who may have been the manager, was rude and abrasive throughout the meal. After we had paid, he even made a sarcastic remark, “Hope you guys tip well,” which was completely undeserved given the poor service we received. At £35 for a T-bone steak with one side, the prices are excessive for such a poor experience. While the owner was friendly and pleasant when he came over, it wasn’t enough to salvage the evening. I would recommend Bufalo Grill instead, which offers better food, service, and reasonable pricing. Save your money and avoid this place. TL;DR - instead of this place, consider Bufalo Grill for a decent & reasonably priced halal steak restaurant in Glasgow.

Bad experience service was so slow waiting for my order order was wrong Stake got cold refried my fries were so oily and owner daughter spoke to her and I said Service was very slow food was not good. She just ignored me and I told her I won’t come back she said okay that’s fine and the tomato full of fungal when was taking a bite felt sick

I recently visited steak lounge & grill expecting a high-quality dining experience, but what I encountered was nothing short of appalling. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. First, the food. My steak, which I had anticipated being the star of the meal, was served cold and utterly devoid of flavor. It was as if no effort had been put into seasoning or preparing it properly. The texture suggested it had been left sitting for a while before reaching my table, and it was far from appetizing. For a steakhouse, this is unforgivable. Next, the service. The staff were inattentive and dismissive from the moment I sat down. Placing an order was a challenge in itself, as it felt like I was interrupting their socializing rather than being a valued customer. Trying to get any kind of table service was an ordeal—calls for assistance were either ignored or begrudgingly attended to after excessive delays. The final insult came when the waiter was clearing the table. In an astonishing display of carelessness, she managed to spill steak sauce all over my £600 shirt. There was no apology, no offer of compensation, and no effort to rectify the situation. It felt as though they couldn’t care less about the inconvenience caused. Overall, the entire experience was a train wreck. I would not recommend steak lounge & grill to anyone seeking quality food, attentive service, or even basic professionalism. Save your money and go elsewhere—you deserve better. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (only because zero stars isn’t an option).

Horrible Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE. The standards are shockingly bad. Our experience began with an unacceptable wait time—50 minutes for food that, when it finally arrived, was a disaster. The sides were stone cold, the steak I ordered medium was burnt on the outside and practically raw on the inside, and to top it off, the chips didn’t even arrive with the meal. We had to wait even longer for those. The drinks were just as disappointing. They came lukewarm, with glasses containing barely any ice—just a few tiny cubes floating around. It was clear they don’t care about their customers or the food they serve. What makes it even worse is the outrageous pricing. They have the nerve to charge high-end prices for food and service that wouldn’t pass in a cheap diner. The quality is non-existent. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—go anywhere else. I’m definitely never coming back.

I would give zero stars if that was possible, the food itself is a hit or a miss however the service is the worst ever i have come across. We were in many months ago were shown to a table and then ignored by the staff for 15mins no menus nothing and it was not busy only 3 other tables occupied at that time, Eventuall we gave up and left and said we would never come back. Last week there was a family event which resulted in the family going to this place. 2 of us arrived 15 minutes later and ordered separately from the rest of the group. Naturally as we joined the group a little later we would expect the food to be served a bit later. Everyone got their food except the 2 of us we got drinks but no food. The rest of the group were finishing their food and we asked where our food was and were told the order did not go through on the computer which is clearly staff incompetence so how come we got the drinks that were with that order ? The manager then came and said he could have the food ready in 10minutes however no point as the whole group was now leaving, so we left. So after 2 bad experiences i would say give this place a miss its not worth it !

Had an amazing dining experience at Stake Lounge and Grill in Glasgow! We ordered steaks, and they were cooked exactly as we requested—perfectly done and incredibly tender. The flavor was spot on, and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. I will definitely be returning for more delicious steaks in the future. Highly recommend!

Very good ambience, friendly staff, delicious food

Nice place and good location. Parking can be hard to find on weekends. We went as a group of 7. We waited 20 mins to be seated although pre booked. A further 30mins for orders to be taken and a further 40mins for our orders. We had all ordered different steaks and sides.... EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WERE COLD! not even warm. Trying to get anyone's attention was a nightmare. Parts of meals were missing. Potatoes massive and rock hard. Salmon barely had any kind of flavour. Garlic chilli butter sauce was just melted butter. We left disappointed and will not not be returning. For the money you pay you expect so much better quality of a meal.

The picture is of a chocolate fudge cake dessert. Presentation isn't great but the biggest problem is the slice itself - its broken, extremely uneven with the bottom layer nearly non existant and based on the size, it feels like it could have come from a muffin and not a cake. Others presented at the table looked a bit more normal but how someone could put the one in the picture together and think it's OK is very dissapointing.

Minus 1 star for the powered potatoes that shouldn't be served in a nursing home nevermind a Steak restaurant! Jokes aside even the butter & chives can't hide that artificial flavour. Chateaubriand was delicious although we asked for medium it was med/well but the quality of the beef was good and tasted delicious. Service was immaculate and toilets absolutely spotless.

I ordered rib eye steak served with creamy mash and lemonade. I originally ordered well done and then I changed to medium rare coz I was worried about the texture of the steak. I thought the steak was cooked by a pan by default but it turned out to be grilled, and I wasn’t asked about this. The steak was crispy and juicy on the first bite, but the bitterness of the burnt part covered the whole flavor then. It was still nice when I ate the steak with sauce. The environment and service were generally good.

I visited this place for my anniversary, and the atmosphere was truly incredible – romantic and peaceful. The service was five-star, and the staff were extremely friendly. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly as requested, though I felt the portion was a bit small, but that didn’t affect the taste. The starters were amazing, especially the halloumi with its delicious sauce and prawns with the sauce also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.

Can't recommend them enough .. its just too good. One thing is portions a bit small rest all good.

Beef steak burger was quiet nice. Beef was nicely cooked. Massive space to accommodate many people. Staff was also quiet good.

My wife and I booked an early dinner last night with our two year old boy. We were greeted at the front by a friendly member of the team who arranged a beautiful table overlooking the water! Service was excellent. We were asked if we would like the kids menu out before the rest, so that my wife and I could have our meal uninterrupted! The quality of the steaks were amazing. Fairly priced and cooked exactly as requested. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great for both families or bigger groups!

First visit here (from Edinburgh) with family for a Birthday dinner. Best steak I have ever tasted! We booked same evening for a late night dinner, regardless food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals so much that we are planning to come back for another Birthday meal in a couple of weeks! This will be our permanent steak place whenever we visit Glasgow now :D

Nice medium rare ribeye steak 😋 and fudge cake .. 5🌟food 5🌟service. I've been unwell for past 8 months and I was promised steak when I got better and this is place I chose to go in Glasgow. Been dreaming about my dinner for so long and I wasn't disappointed because it was better than what I was dreaming. I'd be back tomorrow if I can convince my husband 😉.

The waitress was super unfriendly and absolutely unhelpful. Unbelievable that this person works in service. The fact that there is no wine or beer with a dinner may be a good thing for some people. For me it is not, I am for freedom of choice. The atmosphere of the place is such that I don't feel comfortable at all. The restaurant is an experience that I don't need.

Best halal steak I’ve tried wagyu and it is sooooooo similar it literally melts in your mouth I would recommend a T bone and get a medium it was so good But the manager was very rude we told him that the rice was not cooked and the steaks was not medium and he said it’s our fault somehow very rude manager

We thought to give this place another chance but now we instantly regretted it .. should have just gone elsewhere really disappointed not worth it whatsoever. Mac cheese rubbish .. too greasy oily consistency not correct . Steak over-done waste of money guys save the trip and don’t come here.

Steak was below average, bit too chewy, not done as asked but partners was fine. The real issue at this place is that the staff very clearly has no professional waiting experience or clueless management/owners onboarding them. The place was quiet, but no one came over to ask for drinks/our order. Eventually after 25 minutes I had to go over to the group of wait staff absorbed in their conversation to ask if someone can take our order. Starters took forever, so anticipating that - when the first of these came out we ordered our mains. The rest of the starters didn't arrive - staff took away cutlery. One main arrived, no forks/knives on the table. Again - staff absorbed in their conversations and not paying attention. Another age later someone came over and asked if we'd like to order - I asked for cutlery and ONE SET was given before the waiter promptly walked off with me sentence. Where do you get these people? Eventually my food arrived (sans the starter) and another set of cutlery, and we wanted more drinks but there was no wait staff actually, you know... waiting. We contemplating ordering desserts but had to wait another 30 minutes staring at/waving at staff that actually saw and ignored us. I got up and asked for the bill. 25 minutes later, a waitress comes over and asks if we want to order anything. WHAT THE HELL. A bizarre experience. We'd been charged for the non-existent starter too but at that point I didn't care. SEND YOUR STAFF FOR TRAINING OR STOP BEING CHEAP AND HIRE TENURED STAFF. This place was such a waste of time, almost 3 hours for the most banal steak.

Incredible food with impeccable service.

Very polite staff Food was good but could be slightly better. Starters were lovely. We had bbq wings and some chicken thing (I think dynamite chicken). We ordered steaks as mains. I had mushroom sauce with mine. The sauce didn't taste very nice, it had a strange aftertaste... and there was no trace of mushrooms My OH had pepper corn sauce . That tasted a bit better. Maybe improve your sauces.... make them in the steal Juices. Add double cream. And maybe fresh mushrooms? Dessert - don't order it. They were out of most things . So I ordered what they had available. Choc fudge cake. I got a sliver of microwaved cake with what I can best describe as cocoa mixed with icing sugar...as that wasn't choc fudge But... it's a steak lounge. So I'm rating the food for that. Steaks were well done. Salad was nice and chips were fresh. Because of the sauce I give it 7.5/10
