We had ty as our bartender and it was lovely. He was very attentive and very intuitive with our drinks. One of the best bartenders we’ve had in a very long time. Definitely coming back for round two for my wedding day

Great atmosphere for a party night out. We were there for pre-show food. Bar service was quick and friendly, although prices were expensive. £12.50 for a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc, but is half the price in the bar round the corner. Food was lovely, the only downside was that the starters were served at the same time as the mains. We didn't return the mains as we didn't want to it sit under a heat lamp for 20 mins.

I had a horrible experience at the bar with Tai this Friday…I am someone who works in the service industry and the customer experience I had was horrible….My girlfriend who’s a S&L team member asked to claim her employee discount and he was passive aggressive towards her and stopped her from using the discount…This was very disrespectful and disappointing… later we paid full price on drinks and he was rude to us and drinks were just mixers…

Have always enjoyed Slug and Lettuce but went last weekend and it was just a disappointment. On Friday morning went for breakfast, the chef was rude to the bar staff who were nice. Requested my eggs well done on the original order and then again - something that was just beyond the chefs skills unfortunately. We had booked earlier in the week an evening brunch on Saturday - paid a £10 deposit, arrived and was told that it had not been confirmed by them so no booking. Very disappointing and a let down from 2 weeks ago.

Went to the S&L for a bottomless brunch, our table was booked for 3pm we were seated promptly but it was 20 past 3 by the time anyone had come over to take our 1st order, my friend asked for prosecco and had to wait 45 mins for them to bring it over. We'd been there a long time before our food order was taken too. The food however when it did come was very nice. I don't think that I'd come to a bottomless brunch here again purely because of the slow service. The staff were very busy though and seemed rushed off their feet

Was reasonably quiet- but it was a Monday night so that’s on us and we were not looking for a super busy night. Had an AMAZING bottomless brunch experience with my two friends, we were served by Leila who was amazing had fast and friendly service!! Would highly recommend, food was also amazing!

We had another fabulous bottomless brunch in the S&L Birmingham best BB in the area. 2 hrs catching up with friends eating and drinking. We all had the burger which was really tasty and a good portion size and the drinks just kept coming!!! Love the fact if you don’t want or don’t like cocktails you can have normal drinks like vodka and coke. Gwen our server was amazing attentive funny!!

So after walking in before 9 o'clock and being a manager stonegate myself it was disappointing to see that every free table was dirty, wet and had used glassware on it. Seeing as no staff came to clean the tables, bearing in mind it was not busy, I decided to do it myself as we were very hungry for food. Upon cleaning the table then going to the bar to order food for the two of us (still before 9 o'clock when they say they stop serving food) we were told there's no more food being served. Pretty poor service if you ask me.

Was not the greatest visit, booked a table at 8pm for bottomless brunch we arrived 10 mins early only to get completely ignored by the host as the host was seating people that were at the back of the line and moving up to us being the last to be seated even though we was at the front of the queue which was very odd meaning we didn’t get seated till around 8:20 , I understand it’s busy especially on New Year’s Eve but it just felt so unwelcoming, anyway the server was lovely she had to deal with a girl who collapsed on the floor for around half an hour meaning our section was blocked off and we didn’t get any service until the same host that seated us came over didn’t even explain what was going on to us just.shoved a reserved sign on our table and said we need to leave soon, very disappointing visit on the occasion

Very basic fried food, small quantity for £17. Out of dishes, everything that arrived was fried. Sauces all mass produced. Slow service at the bar, staff not very friendly. No interaction from staff visiting the table. Won't be back.

Bottomless brunch, for my birthday. Service wasn’t very good today I understand it’s busy because of Christmas, but Jess who served us wasn’t very friendly and at times felt uncomfortable. I didn’t enjoy today and waited ages for our drinks, I understand if there isn’t enough staff, but I would of still expected a friendly and warm service.

Staff were moody and struggled to smile, table of 16 pre-ordered the food 48 hours before which they lost, shame really as the place has a nice interior, wouldn’t go back in a hurry.
