We came for bottomless brunch and absolutely everything is incredible. The food is amazing. One thing I cannot compliment enough is our service from Gwen, she’s absolutely phenomenal and I have never had more friendly or attentive service from anywhere else. She deserves the most praise for her service and work ethic. She is absolutely incredible.

Had brunch here, was very busy and really good atmosphere. However, I feel like the cocktails were watered down, but the service was excellent considering how busy it was on a Saturday night.

We were looked after by Emma and she was amazing. She made us feel welcome. Emma gave us excellent suggestions on our meal choice. We had the set menu of starters, main & a drink. Everything from Emma’s service to the atmosphere and food was excellent

No stars. Awful experience. Booked for a celebratory meal with family at 6:00 on a Saturday. We had to leave the restaurant after less than 10 minutes as it was totally unsuitable for young children. Restaurant was more like a night club. Most of the tables had been removed. Scantily dressed women, drunk men shouting and swearing, music so loud that 4 year old and 8 year old children were crying and asking to leave. Would question why the restaurant would even take a booking knowing full well it is not suitable for young children. Ignore the nice pictures on-line. Picture instead a rammed night club with your table set aside in the corner.

A great bottomless brunch! Despite it being a very busy Saturday afternoon with large groups, Gwen at the Birmingham S&L was so attentive and friendly. She was so helpful talking us through the menu options and checked in regularly. How she stays so friendly when so busy is beyond me! Thank you Gwen.

Can’t comment on food as did not eat there had few drinks only but this place was lit with everyone was dancing, drinking and having a good time.

Fab night out here, they've done it up recently and it looks fantastic, the section we where in had its own separate bar I think for parties - deffo be looking here for nights out next time I'm in Birmingham!

Bottomless brunch- I usually do these in my home town with friends, but visited Birmingham with my husband and decided to give it a go. Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon, Gwen was a fabulous host. She helped us choose dishes from the menu with both enjoyed and was attentive throughout. She was refreshingly bubbly..her happiness is contagious (it wasn’t the Prosecco!) Gwen is a credit to the S&L. If we come back to Brum, we’d come back here..great afternoon.! Thank you Gwen.

It was busy, however service was prompt and consistent. Shout out to Sharm, our server who was outstanding! She went above and beyond to ensure we had a enjoyable experience. Food was also really nice! Will definately be returning.

Just left after ordering food a quick drink before a show. 2 Fish and Chips ordered and arrived completely overcooked and visibly so - quite atrocious how is was ok’d to leave the kitchen. Staff member couldn’t deal with it apparently - manager arrived and immediately offered to refund or change on observing the food itself. No apology though. Clearly took the refund as didn’t want to chance another option - refunded the meals but not the one drink or the service charge that I left. Not the only plates being returned I observed - not the service or standard I have experienced from Slug and Lettuce elsewhere. I’d suggest trying somewhere else in the area for sure - extremely poor experience and very quiet with plenty of staff. On speaking with staff initially chef was literally stood adjacent to me but did not apologise or interact. Appalling customer experience

Came for bottomless brunch. Had the lunch menu and there was some great options but the burger was amazing! The service was amazing Gwen our server always made sure we had a full drink at the table meaning we had a great amount for value for the 2hrs! Would definitely recommend

Horrible place, very rude and aggressive staff

Not the best night for the crew at the S&L. Largish groups are hard to manage, no doubt, but considering we had pre-ordered and were a helpful bunch, I was pretty shocked to receive my starter AND main at the same time, while others in my party waited ages. Pudding took a very long time to arrive (after we cleared our table ourselves) but when we asked for cutlery, we were told it would be brought once the puddings had been served. So I watched my ice cream melt and eventually resorted to eating it with a fork. Won't be going back, obviously.

The waitress’ who served us were so lovely and that was the only positive thing about our bottomless brunch. The music was way too loud so we couldn’t even speak to eachother and the cocktails aren’t nice either. When the food came out the pasta was watery and then a hair stringed from my mouth that was in the pasta. I appreciate the discount they gave us but I would still not recommend this bottomless brunch mainly because of the drinks and food, because it’s probably not so loud in the day time. It was the only bottomless brunch we’ve been to where we’ve wanted it to end.

First bottomless brunch here catching up with my sister. It did not fail to please. Great food and more importantly the service with the drinks was amazing. Shout out to Chelsea who really looked after us and made sure we had a fantastic experience.
