Had pancakes, soup and cake. All very good. Staff very friendly. Would go back again, next time we are in the area. 🙂

Fantastic view,backed up by terrific service and tasty food and THE CHIPS WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE CHIPS. Try to remember the best chips you ever had and add steroids.

Welcoming and friendly staff, good food we had the chickpea and coconut curry. Dog friendly , welcomed with biscuits in a bowl and water . Well done to the owners keeping life in a village that has lost all its shops . I remember when Mr McKellar had a grocers in that building in the 1960's.

Nice cafe. There’s a menu for hot food. I had cakes and coffee twice and both times the quality of food and service were of high quality. Plenty and good tables with nice views of the loch.

This is a great place to stop. The food is excellent with some menu items sourced from local producers. The service and the atmosphere are great and very welcoming. A worthwhile stop for cyclists, holidaying folk and families. There are some household essentials available in the store if you forgot to bring them out or run out while staying in the area.

My friends meet with my husband and I most weekends for lunch. Since the Shore Cafe opened we've been going faithfully. It's not just good but consistently good. That's not easy getting it right every time. Susan is a great cook and makes so much from scratch. Her mum makes delicious cakes, always fresh. I am vegetarian and there's quite a lot to choose from. Lovely place owned by lovely people. Sit inside or out, right on the waterfront. Also has a small general store. The cafe is spotlessly clean too. Keep up the good work Susan, see you at the weekend.

With the café at Benmore gardens closed this season, we were in need of coffee... and were so lucky to find this café. Great coffee and delicious cake, sat outside enjoying the view of the loch. Charming young woman who served us made it a delightful experience too.

Gorgeous cafe and wee general store with comfortable seating inside and out, and a stunning view of the loch. The coffee was delicious, as was the breakfast - so good that I returned for a second time during my short visit! Thank you to the lovely proprietors.

Lovely little hidden gem. Young couple own and run it as a cafe and general store seating outside or inside. They even provided a little bowl of dog biscuits 😀 for our 4 legged friends. The food was simple, well presented and tasty, oh and did I mention cake to die for 😉

Food and coffee were delicious! The soup was just what we needed after a cold, rainy day in Dunoon.

The food is absolutely delicious, the place spotlessly clean, and the owners lovely. We enjoyed both of our visits there, watching the loch, and found good supplies at the small general store. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.

We found this lovely dog friendly cafe, we sat outside & ordered food, it was a chilly afternoon so I asked the male member of staff for a take away, he became aggressive, he threw the plate & tongs onto floor, I felt very uncomfortable & left, very rude man, will never return. 😡

Great cakes and hot drinks, best consumed sat outside with a nice view of the loch. Also sells newspapers, milk + other various groceries.

Lovely wee place that serves quality food albeit from a small selection, in a beautiful setting. If you are in Strone, pop in for a coffee, some food or some groceries!

Run by a lovely, friendly couple. Good bacon rolls, and excellent coffee. A real positive addition to the local area.
