What a lovely experience having a relaxed Sunday lunch. We were treated to appetisers while choosing our lunch . The food was delicious ,plentiful and wholesome, served by friendly and informative staff . We will be back .

Such a lovely pub. Landlord very welcoming and accommodating of our large party. The staff were extremely attentive, food delicious and very good value. All the food came out together and was delicious. We were never short of drinks. Out party had such a lovely afternoon. We will definitely return.

We were recommended this amazing pub by the owners of the cottage we booked, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! When we arrived for Sunday dinner with our family of five, we were warmly welcomed. The Sunday dinner was absolutely perfect, and the desserts and starters were just as delicious. We even had a delightful appetizer - homemade butter served on a cold Welsh rock with fresh bread and chili. And to top it all off, we were treated to some fudge. But what really stood out was the incredible service. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. My daughters had a blast with all the games available, and we ended up going back a couple of days later. It was such a memorable dining experience!" 😄🍽️

Stopped off at this lovely pub as we are staying in the area , what a lovely place The food is exquisite and the hospitality spot on . Made to feel at home straight away . My grandson loved playing the retro games and darts . Highly recommend visiting if in the area .

I came here a couple weeks ago with 8 other friends, we got chatting to the owner and it’s apparent that he’s extremely passionate about this place, and it shows. We had the 2 course Sunday dinner (starter and main) and it was incredible, not a single person had a bad thing to say about the food. We were also positively surprised by the beautiful sourdough bread offered to us before our starter (which included with an array of condiments - the curried tomato chutney seemed to be the favourite) and the delicious Cadbury’s cream egg fudge we were given after our main. I really urge you to go here if you’re in the area. Great scenery, dog friendly, and a short walk from the beach.

Popped in here for a Sunday dinner on a road trip trip and it was the best roast dinner we have had in ages. Great service and the free board games are a great touch. Will be back

Our second visit in our week’s holiday in Llanbedrog. Valentines night with a special menu . Calamari and Camembert to start , we suddenly realised this is not your normal pub food but something special and they certainly didn’t disappoint. Then came our main Sea bass and rib eye steak sorry but couldn’t fault , right down to an excellent rare steak served to perfection . The owner recommended the Merlot and yes it was top draw. . Overall an excellent night with new owners that really care about customer satisfaction. We will be back most probably tomorrow .

We rented a little cottage for a couple of nights and ended up in this pub for some dinner. We visited on steak night and it was fantastic. Knowledgeable landlord, ( the pub dog Zoe is just gorgeous) and two very good steaks. If you’re in the area, drop in, it’s definitely worth a visit.

We have visited The Ship many times on our visits to North Wales and came for Sunday lunch eager to see the changes brought in by the new owners As part of the appetisers, we were given sourdough bread with various butters including a marmite butter which was delicious. The appetiser also included some crispy pork crackle strips which were also tasty. We didn’t have starters as we were having a main and dessert which were all excellent 3 of our party enjoyed roast chicken with vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding, whilst one other enjoyed roast pork. Everything was hot, and was plentiful A variety of desserts including fruit crumble, brownie and fudge cake were enjoyed and all came with excellent quality vanilla ice cream After dessert chocolate fudge was provided which was a nice touch The team were attentive throughout without being intrusive and overall, our experience was excellent as always and great value for money. We will definitely be back again when on holiday in this area 👍

Recently under new management and they were very welcoming. I have had 3 meals this week, as the food is delicious. Had a steak and it was served to taste spot on. I had the Lamb Sunday Roast and everything was mouthwatering, the lamb soft and slightly pink - perfect. Last night I had the beef pie and its the best beef pie I have tasted, the beef was slightly pink and soft and plentiful; the gravy was delicious and the filo pastry soft and melted onto the pie. Selection of vegetables and potatoes or chips. If you want a drink before placing your order or even while waiting for your food you can pop to the bar and they will happily serve you and put the drinks on your bill. Staff are all friendly and always ask if you need anything else and was everything to your liking. Everything I have seen coming put of the kitchen has looked delicious and the plates are always full. I am going back again this evening with it being so good.
