Great except the "background " music was anything but background 🙁. Spoiled an otherwise enjoyable lunch 🤔.

We has amazing food here - the gluten free options were particularly impressive, with a full dedicated menu! Staff were friendly and really accommodating. Also, it's dog-friendly!

Good food reasonable priced and very helpful staff

My girlfriend and I had an abysmal experience with the click and collect service at this branch. Turned up on time to collect the food at 15:00 as scheduled on the online order, food was seen under the heat lamps not bagged up ready to go. Staff then opened the boxes in front of me to double check the order, when this should have realistically been done prior to me collecting the food. I thought this was quite unprofessional and unorganised. It was a 3 minute walk home from the restaurant, but upon unboxing the food it was stone cold and thrown in the boxes (or so it had seemed). I've had average chinese and kebab takeaways presented better than what we received here. The sauces were all over the food, were congealed/inedible from presumably being sat under the heat lamp for a long period of time and not potted up individually just dolloped into the cardboard boxes. The lemons and lime were dried out completely and shriveled up alluding to the large amount of time spent under the heat lamps. The food had to be heated up before consumption, which didn't help with the dryness of the food, but it was heat it up or throw it away. I think considering the state of the food, it was clearly sat under the heat lamps for a while prior to the scheduled pickup. In future, the presentation needs to be completely reworked for the click and collect, especially as you are paying the same as restaurant prices. For the prices that you pay you get very small portions, so the takeaway option doesn't seem to be worth it. Prior to this experience, I would have recommended this restaurant to my friends as I have done based off my previous experiences of eating in, but I definitely will not be recommending the click and collect service. Quite honestly, I wanted to walk back and return the food, however considering the lack of care that had gone into the food and service I didn't think there would be any care or consideration given if we went back with the food to get a refund.

Have always had nice food here in the past,but a bit disappointed on lunch today,it was quite busy and we ordered on the app and the food came,I ordered a tuna melt panini it looked nice but it wasn’t a proper panini bread and wasn’t toasted so with the tuna filling and salad it made the bread soggy,as it was so busy I couldn’t get any staff attention so just eat some of the fries which were in a small pot and only quite small chip ends.

Came back to bangor late and was desperate for the toilet, but the public facilities were shut. Went into clio's saw a server who was called shauna, asked if I could possibly use their toilet explained why. She was very pleasant and very professional and said yes, life savour! 👏 would recommend this place anytime, always great food, and after this experience have to say outstanding service! Well done.

Vamos al Clio Lounge con bastante regularidad y siempre lo hemos disfrutado. Nos encanta el ambiente y la decoración, pero especialmente las tapas. Lo hemos probado bastantes veces y siempre es tan sabroso y lleno de sabores. La elección de los platos es excelente y estoy seguro de que cada uno podría elegir algo que le gustó. A lovely and large space to meet up with friends, catch up, and grab a bite to eat. Amazing coffee and a varied selection of food to cater to all. Staff are lovely also.

Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive even though it was very quiet. Ordered three sides which came promptly and was reasonably priced for the quality of it.

The staff were very polite, friendly and organised. The lady behind the bar (Lucy) had exceptional people skills and worked well under pressure.

Dog friendly to start with which is a must, food and drink were also very good with decent quantities on the plate...a very sociable space

Food was little shy of average. Buttermilk chicken overdone and burnt around the edges making it rubbery/chewy. Tuna melt panini which was really a ciabatta, didn't have cheese in and was over done and burnt. Was disappointed and over priced for what we got.

If you're GF this is a good option for both GF and non GF. Just decent food, and you do get what you pay for, very child and dog friendly.

Me and my family come to clio lounge once a week every week always a nice place to have some fresh food good service from all the bar staff and waiters apart from one lady who may be the manager. My only issue is she never looks happy or friendly when you go in never interacts with customers and she also wears some very questionable clothing that seems very unprofessional and a little scruffy other than that great place

La mejor comida de la historia, por una milla. Tapas de quesadilla, miel batida y cordero kofte para empezar. Nasi Goreng, aguacate con tocino de pollo y berenjena marroquí para la alimentación. Deliciosos ingredientes frescos, preparados y cocinados a la perfección y servidos con una generosa cucharada de bromas amigables y alegría navideña. No puedo esperar a volver a Bangor para probar otros elementos del menú.

We had a beautiful meal at Clio lounge, I had 3 x tapas dishes for £12.50 which were amazing and my husband had a burger which was also divine. Drinks and beers top notch too, thank you x 10/10

Didn't have any food this time. Service was fine as was the atmosphere. However even though we have been to Clio's many times since it opened we will no longer be patronising it. This is solely because of the change of china. Am assuming the decision came from top management. The cups don't hold as much coffee, the circumference makes the coffee go cold in no time. My husband drank his as soon as it was served. My brother-in-law ordered tea and thought his cup was so small it could be a child's! So the china may be more expensive and look nice but if it isn't delivering hot coffee (and a smaller amount) why the heck change from mugs just for appearances sake!!! No reflection on the pleasant, hard working staff at Clio's ☹️☕😡

This place is great for any meal of the deal (my favourite is the brekkie & brunch options) today, craig & charlotte have been lovely and elevated our morning out with their friendly welcoming natures. food was 10/10 as always!

We are never going back here. I waited at good 10 mimutes at the counter to be served while two female staff looked at me several times but ignored me. Finally ordered tapas and three cheese fries but our food sat on the counter for over 5 minutes while staff ignored it. I asked a member of staff to fetch our food and she went to the counter looked around and called another staff member to fetch it. By the time it came the fries were congealed so I asked for a replacement which he brought but tapas was cold and the fries had obviously had some more sauce added and microwaved. Apart from one lad making the drinks the rest of the staff are in the wrong job! Awful food, awful service. Llandudno And Prestatyn lounge are 100% better than Bangor.

Brief visit to this town and came to this restaurant for lunch. Apparently this was one of the very few restaurants opened in this town centre on Sunday. Placed orders at bar counter and the food came in good time. The wait staff were very friendly.

A great place for a first date! The food great the company even better.... also nice wine! If I weren't driving I'd have stuck around for another glass!

It looked like a great place to dine, however the place was full of students drinking. It made it a bit busy for a Saturday evening and the service at diner table suffered. I got a 8oz stake that was 2 pieces, one on top of the other. it was cold, dry and the drink just arrived at the table when I was near finishing my meal. Still for that we had to argue that we did not receive the drinks and had to show the receipt. The other 2 guests with me were happy with the meal but had the same issues with the drinks. I think the guys were overwelmed with the work they had for the night. I just don't give a lower review because the place looks great and the students atmosphere was great. Based on this experience I would try any other restaurante near by next time.

Absolutely love these restaurants, I've been to the one in Southport, Prestatyn and visited the one many times in Llandudno, now the one in Bangor. Every time I visit I say I will have something different but I can't resist the Tapas menu. Gorgeous food, superb cocktails and so easy to order, on their app. The decor is unique, beautiful lamp shades everywhere, interesting pictures and just overall quaint surroundings.

Me and my sister went for a meal I’ve always past but never went before until today I had a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potatoe fries,was very delicious I highly recommend Service was amazing atmosphere 8/10 ☺️🍔

Visited tonight, we don’t do every weekend. We usually enjoy the place but not tonight. We have complemented the place in the past but not tonight, the mannerism of the staff was very rude ( George and Stenson) Waited to be served for ages. Went to leave but had to go back to say how I felt. They were very rude, I am a 60 year old and don’t expect to be treated like that. I think the only exception is that we didn’t have food only a drink, and it showed. I didn’t think it was that type of place.

Can be good but also waited 20 minutes for an aperol spritz when popped in for a quick drink.

The cafe is really lovely! I went to Bangor in June, and Clio Lounge several times! This is coffee, food, drink. I drank cafe chocolate (cold and hot), they were delicious! The chairs were comfortable, and the people who work are very kind.

Great experience at the weekend. It was my first time going and I was amazed at the Gluten Free options I had at Clio Lounge. Everything I ate was amazing and loved it

Excellent service was able to bring our dog with us, there were dog bowls and treats available for him. The food arrived quickly and all meals which we had ordered were lovely. Highly recommend!

Popped in for a late lunch. My partner had a burger and I opted for the liquid lunch. Returned my pint as it was really flat and then had to have it changed to something else…… still flat. Clearly the bar isn’t being looked after. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Wouldn’t rush back!

Popular place and busy on BH Sunday I had butter Milk chicken that was chewy- not tender. The dish should have slaw but it didn't, when I asked, the waitress didn't seem bothered. How can you sell chicken with slaw and not serve it?! Some staff okay but others surly

I would like to praise the way 2 members of the team Boe and George handled a situation on Saturday 24th August. There was 2 young girls they were only about 11 or 12 ordering food at the bar one paid cash but the second had a card and it wouldn’t go through. Boe was so nice with her and kept trying to get the card to work she said to come back in a minute to try again. I was served next and I didn’t want these young girls to have their time out spoiled so I said I would pay for her. Boe was so grateful to me for paying and the young girl thanked me as well. When my husband went to get another drink he was served by George who again thanked us for what we did. Both these members of staff were amazing with their kindness and tact. A credit to the Clio.

Recently visited for the first time and the food was amazing, I ordered the large breakfast and it was really good. Only gripe I had was my coffee wasnt very warm. I'd definitely recommend this place for good food.

Service can be a bit better, we had their burgers and some drinks The staff didn’t even gave us any ketchep or asked if we need anything.. i guess they are too busy. Also their prices are too high..

We walked into Clio lounge at 15.30. A corner of gathered families with children and a few other tables were already in. A chap in jeans and T shirt came and greeted us and we sat down. The staff dress down here, so it's hard to know who is a customer and who is going to take an order. We struggled with ordering on the app, I think it was just a signal thing really, but it was nice to talk to the team at the bar. We ordered a beyond meat burger - was alright, but I can but this vegan burger patties at Sainsbury's for £2.50 for 2, so at £15 it was that good to look past. The Halloumi burger promised me a chilli jam, which would have really made a difference, sadly it lacked the ex wife's punch I was expecting, no sweet tickle then a bitter kick. The slaw on both burgers was limp and lethargic. Chips were hot and crispy. A side of Mac and Cheese was definitely the winner. I know it probably comes in frozen and is just chef mic'ed, still it was tasty. A minute under the grill would have given it a bit of colour 😋. The visit was what we expected. It's a chain. Nice visit though and we will go back.

Have just come on a family holiday to wales and had our family meal here it’s amazing there is something for everyone including the vegans and amazing cocktails to wash it down 10/10 would come again

Amazing food and came really quickly! Staff were lovely and loads of different options including vegan and gluten free options. Came in a group of 8 and food arrived quickly <3 I'd recommend the patatas bravas, bang bang cauliflower, houmous and vegan burger to any vegan/veggie friends. Will definitely return next time I'm in Bangor x

Absolutely unreal! The food was amazing, we shared a chicken burger and a tapas board. The honey sriracha wings were the best out of the lot, lovely staff who made it a great experience. Nice atmosphere, great food, great place!

We enjoyed a tasty dinner at the Clio Lounge yesterday. The staff were very nice - especially the young gentleman behind the bar - and our orders were served quickly both times. I had the quesadilla with black bean and sweetcorn salsa as an appetizer and some buttermilk fried chicken with maple BBQ sauce as the main course. Unfortunately, the portion of coleslaw was much smaller than I had expected, but the chicken itself was simply fantastic. I treated myself with a sticky toffee pudding later on, which was also very delicious and gooey. However, the music in the dining area could have been a little quieter for our taste. We still had a pleasant stay at the Clio Lounge though and will certainly come back soon.

Well, I have to say, I am fussy with my Latte but your staff member Lucy makes the very best coffee. 10/10... And such a lovely human being who always makes you feel welcome as does all the other staff. Brilliant place, cracking cocktails , food and the brilliant Latte

Waited 30 min for order.The place was very quiet.When food arrived was cold.Came back heated from microwave with same food and dried bacon.No apology and did not offer refund.If u want microweved food this is the place to go.Do not recommend.Will not visit again.

A wonderful restaurant which served high quality classic meals. Great for when you want a nice meal out with familiar food. The food is great, staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed (though can be a bit noisy at peak meal times, though this obviously isn't the fault of the location!). Would definitely reccomend eating here.

A wonderful bar restaurant with a great menu and amazingly friendly staff. A good selection of both alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks are available. It's a cozy place, where you can sit in comfortable surroundings and enjoy a drink and something to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal there. Portions were reasonable and so were prices.

Can't comment on the meals as we only had a portion of chips with our drinks but they were warm not hot

I had a Cowboy Smash Burger with sweet potato fries and a glass of Henry Weston cider. The burger was delicious, one of the best I've ever had. The meat was well-cooked, the toppings were flavorful, and the fries were crispy, which is rare for sweet potato fries. Even the salad was delicious. The kitsch decor is charming and cozy, and the place makes you want to linger. The waitresses are attentive, and the food was served quickly. I had a great time at Clio Lounge and highly recommend it.
