50 percent off pizzas on a Tuesday and I had the Carvery Calzone, it was lush the meats were perfect well worth a visit 👌

Lovely pub, inside. Took 45 minutes for us to get our food, from ordering. Disappointing

We stayed here last weekend for just one night, we got a great deal and was convenient for the areas we was visiting. We have never been to this area before so we was happy to have a nice evening here . It was all nice and clean as we walked in , the Christmas decorations all been put up and was cosy and warm. We was greeted by a lovely young lady who was helpful and took our payment. We was able to park our car no problem round the back and was reassured it would be safe. I was taken up stairs to our room to check all was to the standard of what we had booked. Clean ,fresh and beautiful bedding all made for us Which was perfect after a full day exploring all different places. We was given plenty of towels for the time being there. The shower was clean and very hot, the bathroom ,carpets and room was spotless. We really loved the radiators being on and kept us warm with it being quite a big room. We had a lovely fire place and nice little tv to watch at night We enjoyed the kettle and coffee in the morning before leaving , it was a quiet safe area and we slept very well . Beautiful bar down stairs with drinks and food was perfect and great hospitality. If we in the area again we will surely return lots of pubs ,two mini supermarkets etc to keep you going for your time there.

Food good apparently but not really a village pub anymore. Called in for a pint and although there are four hand pumps there are no kegs attached to them so no proper beer. "We don't sell enough to warrant buying it in". So if you're looking for a meal probably ok but if you're wondering about a pint you'll be disappointed. Shame, it used to be good.....

We had dinner here & our guys (& us) loved it so much we are going back. We're only here a few days so it must be excellent. Food was amazing, very well cooked & the staff were charming, professional, friendly & very attentive. Great place for eating.

Excellent Sunday lunch big portion

Stopping here for work so far so good had a few pints all very tasty yet to try the food but staff really friendly nice little place would definitely come again room is very clean bed comfy overall really nice friendly place 👍

Seems the ship has changed hands. Used to be a five star culinary experience. It is now an ok pub grub place. Everything just a tad too salty.

Rather tired and basic pub, despite web site saying so no breakfast served, and no craft beers. All in all a experience not to be repeated. Stay somewhere else

They had both GF and regular fish and chips! Both were tasty and worth a visit. The Greek salad was yummy.

Lovely meal freshly cooked,tasty hanging kebab & homemade steak & ale pie with 4 different fresh cooked veg,nice friendly service.

Come here for food in the lovely town of wylam, easy parking at the back of bar which is useful in busy town. For starters we ordered garlic bread and prawn cocktail which were all delicious and served with fast and friendly staff. All 4 of us tried a different burger from the 2 for £20 deal and these were beautiful and filling.

Really impressed! Came to this pub for a Christmas get-together with former colleagues and we were blown away by this lovely pub. The waitress who looked after us was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The food was out of this world! Great veggie options too. We went in expecting pub food, and this far exceeded our expectations. Reasonably priced too!

Could not fault anything from the service to our food was delicious, we have been a few times trying the specials , Sunday lunch and main menu food nothing to fault . Hanging kebabs are to die for 🥰

Lovely staff and amazing food every single time. Sunday dinners are to die for!!! Portion sizes are absolutely incredible for the price. Really friendly owners, would recommend to everyone!!

Absolutely disgusting ,wouldn't give the meat to a pig meat cold ,full of fat defo won't be going back ,staff just standing at bar chatting amongst themselves

Really nice pub child friendly and the food is nice

Friendly place, friendly management and a nice community atmosphere.

Sunday lunch was a total success, from entering to leaving 100%. The service from the management and staff was top quality. The roast sirloin (2 slices) if put on top of each other you have a perfectly cooked pink 12oz steak. Lots of week day specials. We will be returning. Many thanks for a lovely day. Brian and Jen.

Lovely meal at this pub, parking on the street is limited, staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back as the menu was varied.

This is a 3 only because I only called in for a quick pint. I one was to stay longer and eat there, I'm sure it would get more stars. Everwhere seemed clean, there was rugby on the telly (world cup) were pleasant, pint was good. There are no negatives at all, but I wasn't there long enough to award it more stars.

Pub food not the very best. Service is excellent.
