The Ship Inn in Suffolk Coastal

The perfect unspoiled traditional country pub. Would recommend the music nights and the eclectic local performers, fantastic.

Looking very sorry for itself! Third time we've visited in recent times and told not doing food. Supposed to be a new chef just started.

Great location. In the middle of farmland. Menu was limited. Could've offered more . Lovely place though.

Only stopped for a pint of real ale 🍺 It was bang on the money 💰

Unfortunately it's in the middle of nowhere but then that makes for a nice quiet place , 2 sides to the coin .

Food is totally bland and not as described I.e rich onion gravy bland and out of a tub without any onions in it and squid said deep fried and was no way fried and Southern fried chicken burger which was just 3 chicken dippers. No ice as well with drinks and didn't sell ipa in half's only pints which as far as I understand is illegal under licencing law. Not impressed the chef has no frigging idea how took cook. Wanted to complain there and then but didn't fancy getting bared as summer is coming and nice pub for a pint.

Ive stayed here two years ago and found freshly decorated and staff and managers wonderful, but on recent appraisal it has deteriorated so badly its best avoided, cold, unfit for purpose and rude manager beyond belief , as many have said its the worst they ever stayed at
