Lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day...

What a great bar!! I can’t recommend this place enough, the people are lovely, the atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you’re looking for somewhere to meet up with your friends for a drink and listen to some live music this is the place!!

There was live music on the night we visited and they were so good - we were sat near the back, it was so busy. The age range was definitely over 30s which was great, but then a bit later there were groups of younger lads and that's when we decided to leave. No respect for the 'no vaping signs', glass smashed by being knocked off a shelf which subsequently cut my foot on my way out...... The doormen were really good though and patched up my foot. It's still sore.......

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was buzzing. There was also a marquee set up outside, not sure if it is always there. There was a ban playing inside, which added to the great atmosphere. Also a comprehensive selection of alcohol. There wasn't any food on offer but it may be sold in less busy days. All in all a great place.

I recently visited this pub with a couple of friends over the bank holiday weekend, and we found the interior to be nice and cosy. However, our experience took a turn when we walked past the back alley to head to another pub nearby. The sight of overflowing bins and heaps of rubbish left a negative impression. It made us wonder about the cleanliness of their basement and the state of their fridges, considering how they maintain the area outside. Despite the charming interior, the lack of attention to cleanliness in the outdoor area was disappointing. Serious health and safety concerns and left wondering if the pub attracts rats😔

Banging on a Saturday night, wall to wall packed, don't know if that's the norm as I'm not local. Live singer on who was total class. Loved it, cheers the shed 👍

Live music every Saturday, have not seen same band twice. Good quality musicians, no entrance fee and reasonably priced drinks. Querky public and good fun. No food service, so eat before:)) Recommended.

First time in The Shed, and had an excellent evening. Live music, cab atmosphere, and great drinks. Would definitely visit again.

We had a cheese board and wine. The service was brilliant value for money EXCELLENT. The beer was very good.

We always end up in Shed when in Chorley! Great atmosphere and usually a live band or music. The drinks are great and a reasonable price we stayed for a while and had a great time.

Staff very unhelpful. Recommended a beer which was undrinkable. Refused to replace. Poured it down the sink in front of us. Will not be returning.

Not a good message going around about this establishment

I do like the shed always has a good atmosphere and great decor. My only gripe with this place now is that the prices of drinks are very high for Chorley, and I feel it is out pricing itself with other independent bars. It would get 5 stars, but for prices through the roof cost nearly £40 for drinks!

Low lighting. Nicely decked out but the floors are very uneven & a little dangerous. The toilet floors were very slippy. Seems to be a cocktail bar.

This is just a personal opinion .The shed over all is a great little micro pub , with a good selection of beers on ,but on the Friday that i was in they had live music on . I found it so loud you could not hold a conversation at all ,you just had to shout at each .but to be fair to the Shed a lot of the bars in chorley have gone this way .for me ! I just find it unpleasant. But like I said it's a personal thing

Went for the Sunday Cheese and Wine which was lovely. Wine was really nice (paid the extra £5 for a Malbec) and the range of cheese was OK but could have been a bit more.

Booked for the cheese board, Sunday afternoon catch up. Expected average, got amazing! Platter was ample, everything tasted fresh and flavoursome....the grapes were cold and crisp, and the cheese choice perfect. The service was brilliant and couldn't be faulted. I wish they did this every day, I'd move in lol. If you haven't tried it, you should! Thank you :-)

Used to be excellent but since extending its too busy and staff not nearly as efficient or knowledgeable. She put the whole tonic in a single gin, didn't ask if we wanted that at all and then didn't take at all kindly to my instructions as to how i wanted it served.

So far so good with this new little bar

I went to a friends leaving do. There were maybe 50 or 60 people there. Great atmosphere, cosy enough to feel intimate but not so small as to feel squashed. Good selection of beers and lager. They have live music on as well. Really liked this bar and will hopefully go again soon.

Afternoon tea nice food, overpriced

We tried to redeem a voucher for £20 tomorrow, For cheese and wine as a take away only to be told it’s only on a Sunday only. When asked why He said company policy. He was informed that we were going away Sunday morning ( answer bring it in again) Brilliant customer service. We have the conversation recorded in case they say it is not correct..

Afternoon tea is definitely one of the best you will have the pleasure to enjoy. Ambience, service and quality simply amazing.

Party of 6 of us booked the afternoon tea with Prosecco as a birthday celebration. We were all amazed at the stunning variety and quality of goodies, the presentation and the attention to detail. The service was also excellent with our glasses kept topped up at all times and they very thoughtfully reserved seats for us in the main bar after we have finished our afternoon tea. Everything about the afternoon exceeded our expectations. Thank you Steve!

We had some drinks here after a meal out the other week, just after the next door area “The Garden” had been opened. Brilliant place, drinks are good and it’s a great atmosphere for Chorley. Service was good and steady, whenever we needed a drink someone came and took our order. Drink were on the slightly pricey side, but you don’t mind paying more if its for a good quality place. Will definitely come again.

Nice small rustic trendy cool bar not a large selection of drinks but always good quality and due to expanding in size good town centre pop in for a pint they don't have a kitchen but in town plenty places they allow to bring food in

Best place for a civilised drink in Chorley

Excellent cheese & meats partnered with a balanced dry white wine made a very pleasant change for a late Sunday lunch. Great value and delivered with a selection of bread and biscuits.

We booked 2 of the basic cheese platters and they were fantastic. 5 cheeses with crackers, a small bowl of olives, and some chutney. A completely relaxing way to spend a late Sunday afternoon / evening. Great, friendly staff, as always.

Great afternoon, relaxed atmosphere for lunch and I would highly recommend a visit

We have been twice now to the ‘cheese and wine ‘ Sunday . It is amazing, both the food, wine and presentation are excellent. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. They really have prepared well for the Corona19 rules, and made it as safe as possible - following health and safety advice. Beautiful ambience, cool decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit and I highly recommend the cheese board and wine Sunday £20 x I advise getting a add on of Camembert for £5 - this is served melted with fresh baguette x Ace place - on my top 10 places to visit around the North West area. The owner is fab - hard working, attentive and friendly.
