The best dinner we have had in Cornwall. We have had some amazing food but the Shed outshines everyone. My husband preferred lobster and he’s from New England and he stated that it’s the best lobster he has ever had. My brother ate the dressed crab and he was is heaven. I had the mussels and the Asian Salad. Best mussels in Cornwall just Divine and the salad was delicious . We will be back.

We both had fish dishes that were excellent. Front of house service was very slow compared to the kitchen. Our food arrived before our drinks. Staff are not attentive which is a shame as they have a friendly welcome!

Would love to be able to review the food but after sitting for 30 minutes after being seated without so much as an acknowledgment we gave up and left.

Good fish and chips at reasonable prices

After travelling to Falmouth for the day we decided to eat at the Shed in the evening after seeing the Cornish pork chop advertised on the specials board outside and we were not disappointed A warm welcome and the most delicious limoncello mojitos to accompany the aforementioned chop made foe a lovely meal Great staff and great atmosphere - thanks for making birthday meal so special We will definitely be back

Had to wait a while for a table but it was worth it. All the food were large portions and excellent value for money. Two of our drinks we first ordered while awaiting two more family members didn’t arrive so had to ask again. We didn’t get the tap water we ordered either. This aside the food was amazing so would not give anything less than 5*. Will definitely visit again.

Had a disappointing experience at Shed today. A lot of the food was lukewarm at best, which really took away from the meal. Started with the Farmhouse sausages, which were tasty, but the sauce they were covered in was almost fridge-cold—not what you’d expect for a hot starter. The fillet steak was clearly a quality cut of meat, but again, it wasn’t particularly warm, and the chips were outright cold. The garlic bread was good, lovely focaccia, but I ordered it with cheese and got none. My partner had the Laksa, which she enjoyed, but my daughter’s nachos were so salty they were practically inedible—she ended up leaving most of them. Didn’t bother with dessert because the prices were way too high for the quality of food. I don’t mind paying premium prices for an exceptional experience, but this was just disappointing. Won’t be returning. Update : After speaking with Rory, I can say they genuinely care about customer feedback and making things right, which does make a difference. Hopefully, they take this on board and improve going forward.

Wonderful meal at The Shed, I hadn't been in a while but was just as good as I remember. I had the Lemon Sole the £10 lunch time special, it was excellent and fantastic value for money. Waiting team were very attentive and friendly.

Best roast in Falmouth. Stopped at the Shed today with our dog and the staff kindly gave us an indoor table and offered roasts from the sister restaurant (the ranch) which were brilliant. Thank you!

One of the best meals out of 2024, mussels were amazing, enormous portions. Steak was so tasty with an amazing peppercorn sauce and prawns!

OK so it's an OK place, food OK no complaints, prices OK no complaints. Service OK no complaints. Just average on all counts but yes I would return. Why three stars? You do pet hate, come to.me with a card machine asking for a tip or not . It makes people feel awkward, business cards often can't pay a tip and people don't carry cash so much. Minimum wage is not bad these days, be grateful and leave a tip jar by the door.

I had the chicken wings, which were so dry I would have sent them back, but didn't want to waste it else the animal would have died for nothing. Won't be going back.

The chef was the sole reason this establishment maintained its integrity. The culinary offerings were exceptional, surpassing our expectations given the pricing structure. However, the service provided was severely lacking and in need of improvement as it was straight up trash. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, there was an extended wait time for cocktails, which arrived after the starters were served. The slow service and lack of attention from the bar man was concerning. Additionally, we experienced difficulty in obtaining a glass of water, which was requested multiple times. I've never left a restaurant thirsty! Overall, the experience lacked a welcoming atmosphere and fell short of expectations in terms of service quality. Visited 9/10

Just had lunch there. Ordered hazelnut hot chocolate and sharing platter. All very yummy and the meat-veggie ratio was perfectly balanced. My favourites were the sausages and padron peppers. Good portion for two people

Great place to eat in Falmouth. Many eateries in this centre. Food was very good, all fresh good prices as well.

Love this place so much. It’s fast become our favourite breakfast place and has been fabulous every time. Indie has always taken great care us, and makes us feel so welcome.

Great meals inviting atmosphere and caring staff make this restaurant a gem

Wanted to like The Shed, but didn't. Took 15 after being seated just to be offered a drink. Fortunately we had decided on food choices by then so placed our order. Chose the patatas bravas and the nachos that we were going to share. The menu that the nachos themselves were homemade, which appealed to us. Such a shame when that they went to the trouble of making them but then smothered them with 'out of a squeeze bottle' guacamole and salsa. Very disappointing.

All very nice and best espresso in Falmouth

Waited 40 minutes, then starter and main course were served within 30 seconds. Returned the main course and waited another good 40 minutes for the main course. The quality of the food was ok but that didn't help

Long wait for food to arrive, thought it expensive for the portion sizes. We had an issue with one main which the staff did their best to resolve so get an extra star on service for that. Menu choice not that large either. Wish we had tried somewhere else to be honest.

Enjoyed a late lunch. My wife had a very generous portion of cod and I had dressed crab both lovely

Waited for almost an hour and a half for our mains. Got some lame excuse. After that we tried for a long time to get noticed to ask for dessert. Waters seemed to have had enough and were hiding behind the bar. Not a great experience over all. Food was ok nothing more.

Lovely food, quick service and friendly staff. Dog friendly as well which was a major consideration for us.

Had a wonderful time eating here with my family. The staff were very friendly and the food was served quickly. A young and dynamic team. The atmosphere is pleasant, but I didn't find the chairs very comfortable. Complaining at a high level ;) The Shed is highly recommended!

Pleasant enough eatery but nothing special. I thought the menu was limited and rather expensive for the chick burger/ steaks that we ordered. Appreciated their offer of a free celebratory drink for my graduating daughter but, in my opinion, there are better places in Falmouth

Not enough mussels for a „main course“…

Had cocktails and a few light bites, the tortillas with hummus, tortillas was so so salty it ruined an otherwise nice dish. Good service though and a nice place to sit

Great service, fantastic food. Would recommend for meat lovers. I had the sirloin, my husband yhe half rack of pork ribs and chicken wings. It was cooked so slowly that the meat fell of the bone.

Lunch for 4 adults and 2children Monday 15th August. The food is reasonable as is the atmosphere, but the service we experienced was unacceptably slow. Upon complaining about the length of time the food was taking, the duty manager's attitude could only be described as defensive. I have eaten here before with what was a very pleasant experience. Sadly not this time. We won't be returning.

The Shed was pretty much one of 3 open places on a gray Sunday. The food was really good and the staff were friendly.

Had a meal here last Thursday 4th July with our daughter and her boyfriend last night of our holiday wished we had found it earlier excellent.

Wouldn’t serve us Breakfast at 1201 because that menu ends at 1200. I work with a boat down here and often take large groups in to eat and drink. We won’t be back - ever!

Had a late lunch in here after arriving on Falmouth, its in Descovery Quay ,We all had different sandwiches all served with Nachos and salad ,We had the fish finger open,the Chicken and the Pastrami, all were delicious. They also served a very decent Guinness, and a nice pint of Ratler cider an notorious drink down here ,brewed in Cornwall, I am informed by a local that after 3 you are very Happy. Staff were on the ball ,a good start to our Cornwall tour.

Just had Sunday lunch here, and the service was exceptional. Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Also they were flexible and understanding. The food was great too. Really felt like a homely place to chill with a friend. Highly recommended.

The guy serving was rude arrogant and not friendly enough to be front of house

My 2 daughters organised an 80th birthday fot me there consisting of 11 people made up of 2 families and my granddaughters partner Jowan. The food was excellent as you would expect. The ambiance was very welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. The waitresses were always checking that everything was okay. It was a very busy night as it was the Sea Shanty weekend but we were still looked after very well. My granddaughter made a birthday cake and they supplied us with a knife to cut it with and plates and forks. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to go just for a meal or a special occasion. We always go there for coffee a couple of times a week and the coffee is excellent.

The good thing was we got something to eat and the waitress fetch some ale from next door. The food was average and the seats and table resembled a sardine can. We were very hungry!!

Went here for a few drinks good atmosphere an close to the docks you are also close to the maritime museum an the ferry’s will return 😀

Visited numerous times for breakfast/brunch and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Combined with good weather thus is the ideal spot to go for a family breakfast, especially if you are a student with visiting family.

Always good, if a bit expensive. But what isn't these days!

Had the surf n turf steak with some squid which was cooked to perfection the service is really good, the staff are very welcoming, would highly recommend and would go back again

Disappointing starter - deep fried squid. I was expecting fresh squid for £9 not a small bowl of deep fried frozen squid . The main course was devoid of any garnish or colour (brown) . The slaw was without dressing of any sort I asked for some mayo 30% of my merge portion of chips had been through the fryer more than once and were inedible . My waitress was very pleasant and efficient and I could see she was covering most of the restaurant on her own which is why i could not register my complaint until it was time to pay the bill .

Delicious! From the warm welcome to the service of the deliciuos meals, recommended. Prices aren't cheap £4 for a bowl of cabbage, for example, but equally aren't exorbitant and coupled with the good and friendly service I can only recommend The Ranch. If you can, book in advance yo avoid disappointment.

In an excellent location in Falmouth, the food was excellent, I had eggs Benedict and mmmmmmm delicious 😋 later on I tried a vodka cinnamon cocktail and that was superb.... I Will be back 😁

The food was 9/10, it was really really good and tasty. The staff was really nice and friendly but the reason for the 3 star is just from how long it took to take our orders and the wait for our food to be cleared after the meal. They weren't busy at all, 4 other tables at max. They took between 15 minutes to 25 minutes each time. Long story short, food was great but services was very low for not being busy at all.

Great meal and service, at very good value. I had two small plate starters, namely chicken wings in maple sauce and cornish sausages in onion jam. Both had outstanding flavour and were cooked to perfection. This was easily equivalent to a small main. My wife had the Shed Burger, very tasty with a special sauce and fries on the side. Wines were offered as 125, 175 or 250 ml glasses, so easily meets all preferences. Also, they didn't automatically include a service charge on the bill, allowing us to tip for their good service instead.
