The Shake Town Express in Kirklees

Amazing food! I love the desserts, especially the Dreamcakes and matilda Cakes, they are out of this world! 🌎 So addictive! I've never had dreamcakes like theirs anywhere in England. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I’m absolutely in love with The Shake Town Express desserts. Wow ..mind-blowing! 🤯🥰🥰

Wrong order delivered..my order was over £40..got someone’s else’s ,,kids not happy.wont be ordering from here again.

Phoned us and told us our order was wrong and would deliver and to refuse the just eat delivery. Then brought us food that wasn’t ours. Then they came and collected the food just as the just eat driver brought us our food. Said they would put extras in to say sorry but nothing extra in order. Awful service

Asked for coca cola, was given cheap barr cola. Food was good but chips were cold. Found a clump of gristle in the chicken burger.

Although I found the food OK it was spoilt by putting spicy sauce on the bbq chicken which was ordered because it didn't say it was spicy so no good for my wife also there was no choice of drinks in the meal deals.

Ordered food from this place, paid around £30. When the food came, it was hardly warm. I was shocked at the size of the portion, the teacakes are small as it is but the Angus patty was hardly have the size of the teacake. Was very disappointed. Pricey but not filling at all. Portion sizes are appalling. Called the place, got told the manager will call back but 5 days later still not heard from them!

Burger is not 100% beef and loaded fries are too overloaded with garlic & chilli sauce - can’t taste the fries or the chicken, just sauce

Food tasted delicious and arrived piping hot. However, the chicken was quite spicy - I don't mind spicy food and it did taste great but not what I wanted. Why wasn't it indicated on the menu that ALL the chicken is spicy? Especially chicken strips which you wild likely order for a child??? It is way too hot for kids!!!

Buttermilk chicken fillet was very spicy and hot that it had to be thrown. No mention of it being spicy on the menu. Fries and everything else was spot on. Came nice and hot.

Fresh and not dry chicken every time

Delivery driver was going round in circles . It was a simple instruction. Ice cream was really nice. great mixture of flavours I was however expecting more flavours of sherbert didn’t realise it was just two. But very nice overall! One of the ice cream cups was cracked. it was leaking. Besides that it was good.

Unfortunately the cookie dough looked like the whole nutella tub was dumped on it, as I couldn’t see any cookie dough at all. After taking a bite, it was too sickly sweet to consume because of the nutella. It’s a shame as I really liked the food from this place from past experiences

Fantastic fresh food ever time.

Great hot food delivered on time. I didn’t like that I couldn't choose my drink, I don't drink coke and would prefer more banana and less nutella on the pancakes. Just personal preference though. Very tasty.

Ordered Dutch pancakes and a milkshake. The pancakes were divine best we've had however the milkshake was let down. Lumpy and didn't taste of the flavour we ordered. Will definitely come back for the pancakes and maybe try other desserts.

The burgers were small but really tasty and good value for the meal. Would have been great to have a choice of drink but there isn't one so they just send Barr Cola. Really nice food, can't complain

Multiple orders from me and they never disappoint!! The mountain burger is to die for, it doesn’t say it’s a little bit spicy though and it is, so careful if you’re ordering for kiddies! other than that, DELICIOUS!! 😝

Ordered for delivery after hearing so many good reviews only to be very dissapointed. The burgers looked like they had been flat packed and were so small to say how expensive they are, ordered mozzarella sticks, only got 3 and there was hardly any mozarella in them at all. The hips were cold and the cookie dough was disappointing because of the size and taste. It came with a tiny tub of iceream that was completely melted and leaked. Very Disapointed

The portion size was really small, the mozzarella sticks were more batter than mozzarella. burgers looked like they had been flat packed and squashed. only good thing was the cookie dough dessert that we ordered.

Ordered for the second time today and the service has just been fantastic. Quick and efficient with my very own version of veggie loaded fries! Everything we ordered was absolutely delish and the service was impeccable. Brilliant and friendly on the phone too and quick with the food. Have recommended Shaketown Express to family and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Definitely our all-time favourite takeaway. The chicken and beef loaded fries are absolutely stunning, they never skimp on the meat. Tried a few of the shakes and they have always been amazing, the white wonder pancakes with fresh strawberries are always great. Probably go here too often but will definitely keep coming back!

Very nice burgers, both chicken and angus cheese burgers are delicious. I don't have a sweet tooth but even I enjoyed the desserts especially the Freddo Cookie dough with ice cream. The owner is super friendly and the service is very professional.

The food was great quality, but everything I ordered, shake town burger the bbq chicken burger and bbq chicken tenders were all coated in something spicy wich was way too spicy and spoiled the meal for me and my wife we thought we had ordered none spicy food

Caution !! Once you try this place you won’t be able to stop going back ! Amazing food and friendly service. Premium quality food at low prices. You will struggle to find the same quality of Angus beef burgers at these prices elsewhere. The spicy dip and Angus combo burger is 10/10 and a must try! The only issue I’ve had is that their burgers have sold out before I could order !

Got the completely wrong order delivered and then wasn’t contacted back by the restaurant after I rang to say I got the wrong order delivered!

Burgers didn’t look that great when we opened the boxes but they were really nice! We got the BBQ chicken strips as well and they were really tasty. Will definitely order again.

Very nice but we had strawberry n nanna pancake wi tons of chocolate n chilli sauce is hot. Use sparingly.

I have ordered from here many times and it was once my favourite place. Unfortunately yesterday we ordered cookie dough and it was so tasteless. Barely any chocolate chips. I was literally just eating dough. Hardly any Nutella sauce on top and the cookie doughs were almost cold. We've ordered from Shaketown many times before and they have arrived fresh, piping hot with a nice crispy edge and very chocolatey. This was my go to cookie dough place. Very disappointed. Ice cream was top notch as always but sadly I only ate a quarter of the cookie dough.
