The Seven Stars Cafe in Teignbridge

The food was fantastic, we had vegan and vegetarian options which are not always catered for, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was incredibly friendly, we had out 10 month old Labrador with us and even he was welcomed warmly. We will definitely be back.

We popped in here, last minute, on our way to recover my broken down car… a very welcoming team, who clearly care greatly about the food and service. We had the beef roast, generous portions which we couldn’t finish. Very tasty and presented well. Thank you for having us :)

At 6’3 and 16 st. I’m not hard to miss. Except here. I waited for 10 minutes while all the locals got served and then with my money clutched in my hand the landlord and staff started to tidy the bar. I just turned and left and went back to the hotel. Awful place.

One of the best pubs I've ever been to. On holiday in the area and thought we would try it for our tea. Locals at the bar were welcoming and friendly. The landlord and the chef provided excellent service. We had Lambs liver with crispy bacon onion and mash. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding and custard for afters was lovely.

Very friendly, good was absolutely amazing and I hope I am around this area again because I would definitely be back in for more..

Im visiting from new zealand We called in on the off chance and had a drink and dinner. Great atmosphere,service and food outstanding . Great value for money and the experience is everything you think of when you think of an English country pub . Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely come again and tell others AAA+++

Booked a table for the 9 of us, met at the door, showed to the table, the chef came out and took the order for the hungry children first, all meals were excellent, the Jail Ale was gorgeous and the prices were very fair, the locals were welcoming and chatty. I very rarely give 5 stars but the Seven Stars deserved it, we went there twice during our hols and will certainly go there again when in the area.

Amazing find, totally loved by the locals which is a rare find these days! For an outsider we were welcomed by the landlord and staff as well as all of the locals! A true gem!! Food, top notch, prices amazing! Wish we had a local like it! I would give you 7 stars to match your name, but unfortunately not available!

The seven stars Inn and cafe are now doing Sunday roast take out. This is perfect for us as we have a holiday home at kennford International so when we're there we order a Sunday roast which was perfect. They have both meat and vegetarian options with loads of vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy. Highly recommended 👌.

We had a mid week dinner here whilst in the area on holiday. Warm welcome, great service, hearty food and good beers, what more could you want!

Fantastic ,service ,friendly bar staff ,and customers.Great music night with the MOJOS. But at £7.50 for a glass of wine, it is the most exspensive place I have visited.What a shame.May still visit again.

We visit this Pub on a regular weekly basis after Bellringing practice at Kenn. The Landlord is very friendly and helpful. The prices are really competitive and there is an excellent choice of Ales, Cider and spirits.

Staff very friendly. Very clean. Had cheesy chips. Was 8 pounds. Quite expensive for the portion size.

Dropped in on the way back from Ivybridge. A gem of a find. Really friendly hosts, amazing food and beer. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing was too much trouble and even the music was to our taste. May come back and book a room next time .

A pub in the middle of Falmouth High Street. Nice old fashioned pub that was showing Six Nations and the Arsenal game, so stopped for a couple beers. Was nice but not sure I would have gone there if I wasn't looking to catch the football whilst I was away. Good selection of local ales.

Fantastic pub. Was saying 50 yrs from door. On girls weekend from Lanson and Portishead. Had food both nights. Great food and good value. Landlord and staff made us feel so welcome. Locals were also lovely. Will definitely be back soon.

Had a great night there on Wednesday. We were staying at the Exeter Court Hotel up the road but wanted a pub evening after a day racing at Exeter. Delicious shepherds pie and the landlord drove us back to the hotel at the end of the night. What more could you want.

Very good food would visit again ,lovely pub

Overall was enjoyable. We were seated by the bar (not by choice) and so was a bit noisy, service was a little slow. They had a large group in on the Sunday so they were quite busy, so won't be overly negative about it... it is a village pub after all. Food was good and staff were polite and friendly. Would recommend and will be going back.

Had a really nice meal with my partner there, really good atmosphere with a few four legged friends at fhe bar to all having a good sniff and wagg at each other, (dont worry they wernt drinking lol, well only WATER not the hard stuff lol😂😂) served by a young and older chap , BOTH REALLY nice people, really good food and lovely relaxed decour in the pub,, a REALLY good country pub,, with lots of people enjoying themselves over a pint or three of good beers,, well worth a drive out there to sample something a bit different then other pubs. Loved it will certainly return to sample a few more beers with a comprehensive menu.

What a find! For a pub in a relatively small village this exceeded our expectations. The ale that's brewed for them on Dartmoor was very good, there was a good selection of food options and the portions (especially the children's meals) were generous. Worth missing the Exeter motorway services if its opening hours and your route takes you to the A38.

We enjoyed a Lovely Sunday roast in a shelter in the garden and a smashing pint …but the best treat was the rhubarb and apple crumble with vanilla ice cream….we will be back

Well what can I say about this place. Amazing. Not been here for two years because of covid. New people running it now. Staff lovely and nice drinks . Would recommend a visit. And they have a nice new menu as well. 2as nice to see old and new faces

Tonight I joined a shanty singing group and after my first practice, we adjourned to this hostelry for a welcoming pint. The cider I had was delicious, served chilled by a charming young lady in pleasant surroundings. No doubt I shall return.

Great place. Friendly people. We stayed in a guest suite/room, which was immaculately clean, spacious, well equiped and detailed. Breakfast is taken in the Café, which is a cosy and friendly setting. Fayre is local where possible, carefully prepared and served with a delightful smile. The pub is open Wednesday to Sunday. Drinks are spot on and they also serve food (although menu is a bit limited at the moment coming out of lockdown 3.0). This is an easy recommendation. The people really make this place. Goes without saying - be nice and it will be reciprocated.

We went for lunch on new years day and it was very quiet which is surprising as the food was lovely! I had chilli served in a tortilla bowl, lots of chunky veg and full of flavour and my partner had a pulled venison pie which was also very tasty. I had crumble for desert which was the perfect level or tart and sweet. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it had a cozy in feel. All together a very pleasant meal

We had a most amazing lunch ! Tracy looked after us regally and the food was thoughtfully cooked with genuine care and with great ingredients. We came to this place between lunch and dinner but they had fresh made daily pizza which was delicious. Their beer was also great

Absolute gem of a local pub. Warm welcome, helpful service and absolutely outstanding food. A friend recommended this place and said that whatever the menu says, when the food arrives you’ll be impressed by the care, detail and finishing touches that are added and he was absolutely right. Little details like a pickled vegetable garnish with a main meal or the ice cream coming with white and chocolate soil elevated each dish. I’ll visit again next time I’m in this part of the country.

What a lovely find! I was in the area and needed to eat so i ventured here after calling to make a booking. We're greeted into s cosy venue, seated and waited upon. The service was great but the star was the food.. it was delicious! The wine was tasty and reasonably priced - i would recommend trying this place!

Proper British pub with incredible food

Food and service was very good. Glad we ventured outside of Exeter for the evening.

We were quite surprised by the size of the place, which wasn't an issue, it was just smaller than we expected. The staff were very friendly, the food was well cooked and served in a timely manner considering how busy they were! The only issue we had was that the bar was quite small and with people sat around it on chairs it left very little room to order.

Went here today for my wife's birthday. Looks like any high street pub to begin with, but as soon as we arrived we got a warm welcome and the excellent service continued throughout from Traci and the team. Great food and great service... a hidden gem! It was no surprise to see a photographer there taking photos because they'd recently won an award.

Absolutely lovely meal in a well run quirky pub. Good selection of vegetarian dishes, some excellent mains (such as a delicious chargrilled pigeon breast), light bites (such as kennford fried chicken) and pizza for the teenagers. Really efficient and friendly owners/ staff. What's not to like!!
