The former Poppy’s tea room, The Secret Garden is a really cosy little nook in Trinity Street, decorated to look like an indoor garden. The food is lovely and inexpensive and the staff are great, especially Skye, who is so friendly and cheerful, a real delight! Definitely going to be a regular visitor.

Amazing food and served with a smile.. Tina was very happy to engage in chat and bring the food to the table, also made sure we had enough papers😉.. highly recommend the race cafe.

356 Mersea Road, Colchester CO2 8RB EnglandAn absolute gem. We moved just down the road and was our this daily lunch treat for 3 weeks. We pop in every week for a treat. The sandwiches are amazing and the cakes are delicious! So lovely to have such great place within walking distance. Also the staff are all so friendly :)
