The Seaview East Preston in Arun

Good service and lovely food. Crowded on a Friday but added to atmosphere. This made it incredibly humid though, no ventilation? All in all, a very nice evening.

I am not sure about the rooms as we only had lunch at the terrace! It is really a hidden gem! The terrace is gorgeous! Plenty of seating and lovely decor. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and filling! Could not ask for anything more and we are definitely going back to try more dishes!!

We are regular customers of Seaview and over the course of a few years had very good service and delicious food but yesterday we turned up and wanted to have lunch. It was 2.20pm And the Board outside says doing food to 2.45pm. The garden was busy but not overly and quiet inside but we were told we had to make a reservation ??? So we couldn’t get any food even though they weren’t rushed off their feet. As you can imagine we were very disappointed and just felt that they could have been more helpful . The young girl didn’t even apologise and had a couldn’t really care less attitude .

Really surprised at the atmosphere and service too. Really buzzy everywhere clean and very comfortable. Outside area so pretty with spin flames and lovely lighting.

We visited Seaview restaurant last weekend with family and had a wonderful meal, the setting is great !

Went for lunch really good food .

Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch in fact it was the best roast dinner we have ever had outside of the house. Every single detail was cooked to perfection. You simply must get the sides of red cabbage and cauliflower cheese!!! The beef and the pork dinners were equally delicious. My father inlaw had the fish & chips and said it was the best he'd ever had. All the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was just top notch!!! Thank you all so much xxx

Brilliant venue.. also sells a cask ale or two which was a bonus being a wedding venue.

We had Jack! He was a brilliant server, the food was delicious, definitely would recommend the scallops! Drinks were amazing, espresso martini ;), and service was just amazing! Will definitely be back!!

This was an surprising find and a delightful experience. Food and service where great and the location charming. Will definately come again

Meal only this evening: very disappointing, substandard meal charged at inflated prices. Limited menu and small portions of very fatty meat, tiny potatoes and hardly any veg. Loud thudding music and venue full of 18 year olds. We are visitors to the area and so relieved we did not choose to stay the night at The Sea View. Too noisy and conversation was impossible. The combination of noisy night life, restaurant and hotel at The Sea View just doesn't work.

Always love coming here for lunch or dinner. Lovely garden in the summer & cosy in the winter. Great food and service. Yummy cocktails.

Fabulous venue and amazing food for a family gathering, staff are friendly and nice private function room overlooking the garden.

As per usual great service and food, in my opinion best place in the area including all of Worthing. Definitely worth a visit for food or for a drink. All staff members are very helpful and friendly!

Excellent service. Lovely now they have more bar type tables etc. Was a bit too 'restauranty' when it first reopened. Fab place. Great atmosphere. Love it here

I had my mother's wake at the Seaview yesterday. Carlo and his team were fabulous... very attentive and always checking everything was okay. We had pre booked the canapes and desserts and they were amazing too. Highly recommend

Didn’t stay, but the food is lovely. Ideal for a special lunch or dinner, but also for drinks and bar snacks. Stylish and tasteful, and the garden is a delight to sit for fine weather

Came here for Sunday lunch. Wonderful food and service, especially if you have allergies. The care taken from the waitress and then the chef who came out to check was amazing. Plus the trifle was out of this world.

Booked for evening meal with friends. Great service and wonderful food, reasonably priced. However, it was far too noisy for us as we couldn't hear each other speak! Would need to try and find a quieter time to re-visit.

My daughter had the wedding reception here. The food was fantastic, tasty and beautifully presented. Such attentive service. 2 of the wedding party were coeliac and the food provided to them were beautifully presented and no fuss. The service was amazing, clean cutlery and serviettes changed at each course. Some restaurants can be on attentive the Seaview got this just right. There were a few children in our party their food was fantastic and the staff were so patient with the toddlers and children. Parking was tricky but as promised parking was reserved. Thank you for your contribution to making my daughters and son in law a truly memorable day.

Haven't stayed in a room (yet) but the restaurant is lovely - beautiful surroundings, great food and excellent service. Highly recommended.

First time visit and wow - what a really great place. The service is exceptional, nothing is too much for the team here. We had cocktails followed by beers with awesome chips, cake and coffee (we couldn't stop!). Beautiful place, spotless loos and if it hadn't been raining we would have sat outside and stayed longer. Highly recommended!

I took my mum here for her birthday (her first visit and my third) - The food was simply amazing, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. I would put this in the top 5 places to eat in Sussex and a must visit - Not just because of the food, but because of everything - location, feel, atmosphere...something about it just feels right. Always good vibes in the Garden and great for a sundowner

The place turned out to be as nice as the manager's warm welcome. Our small room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. We would have just appreciated a chair to put our things on. Ideal for one night especially as we were able to enjoy the elegant pub on the ground floor where we ate well for a very reasonable price.

really nice food in a great location

We only popped in for a drink after a long soggy wet walk. We like The Seaview very much, especially the garden on a nice day. The toilets are amazing lol, you would see what I mean if you visit.

Friendly staff and nice rooms. Car park very tight, but a good experience.

We were there for a friend's birthday party. The staff were extremely helpful and obliging and the food was lovely.

A standout experience, lovely atmosphere for drinks and meals. The patio heating by the olive tree on the patio is lovely and the rooms were comfortable. Location is perfect for walking along the beach or to get to the local pubs where we found live music on Fridays and Saturdays. A great stay all round 😊

Newly refurbished, friendly service and great ambience

What a lovely place. Hotel, come pub come meeting place for food. Nicely decorated calm atmosphere. Warm and cosy. I will go there again, I'm sure!
