We thought we would try this Chinese for a change, both myself and my partner were disappointed. I ordered a chicken curry which was incredibly watery, and my partners crispy chilli chicken was bland. The portions were very small to for the price, compared to other Chinese takeaways.

Thurs night takeaway. Ordered in advance & food was ready on time. Salt & pepper chicken pieces to start - excellent. Main of house special in black bean sauce, good. Fried rice, chips & curry, all good.

Lived in Garstang 11 years struggled to find a decent takeaway I was truly happy with. Ordered last night and wow what a meal it was the best Chinese I think i have ever had. It was hot, tasty and quality ingredients and it was ready when they said and alson very reasonably priced too. I am a convert I will be back... what a service and this is a must should you visit or live in garstang,,, well done The season.

Chap behind counter looked angry that we’d walked into his shop, ordered nearly £50 of foods, sat down & within 5 minutes they’d reheated the food for us, we were shocked how quickly they’d made 4 different dishes. And he was still grumpy and rude as we left. Got home and ate, the curry sauce was not as tasty as normal, then towards end we found something that looked like a fat piece of rice but it wasn’t rice. It put us off the rest of the food. Previous visit in Jan they’d reheated yesterday’s chips so they were just crispy and dry. 9its an expensive takeaway anyway and from this last 2 experiences we won’t be giving them our hard earned money anymore. Very disappointed with several aspects. Would not recommend.

Good visit! Been here a few times & it looks as though the food quality depends on how busy they are. Few visits on Friday & Saturdays have been a bit suspect, visited this time on a Sunday. All the dishes were very good, special curry & chicken in black bean sauce. I think the prices have gone up too, main dishes now don’t include rice or chips as they did previously. 2 mains, 1 fried rice, 1 chips & prawn crackers was £24.

Generally this has been decent on recent visits, this one poor (at best)…. Chicken with pineapple & ginger. Tiny amount of chicken, ton of overly sweet pineapple & no taster of ginger whatsoever. Salt & pepper chips, dreadful, just chips with probably a bought in seasoning mix, virtually no spring onion, peppers etc. Really disappointed as Garstang isn’t blessed with good Chinese takeaways.

Disgusting meal payed £24 and went straight into bin! The food had already been made sweet and sour was batted balls full of fat ! Dripping! Sauce in a cartoon ! Disgusting ! Not put together with veg and balls ,we will never return

We struggle a bit with a decent Chinese take away in Garstang, visit to The Season was a nice surprise in terms of food quality. Prawn toast was a bit meagre & not great taste to be honest. Main I had char siu with pineapple which was good. Being super critical the seasoning was a bit off, but this was definitely the best Chinese take away I’ve had in Garstang.

First visit to The Season after some dodgy take aways at other Chinese establishments in Garstang. 1/4 crispy duck, really good & decent portion for less than £8 Salt & pepper ribs, probably the weakest dish, not a massive portion & not a ton of meat on the ribs, lacking in a bit of oomph too! Char Siu with pineapple, very good. All in a good experience & we’ll be back.

Very nice takeaway, we ordered and didn’t have a long wait, but like others have said very small portions in comparison to other Chinese takeaways, but would definitely go again.

Decided to give The season another try 'BIG MISTAKE!' i ordered sweet and sour chicken and asked for the sauce separately as i do not like soggy batter, after paying i queried the bill to be told by the rude woman taking the orders stated that because i had asked for the sauce to be served separately i had been charged full price for the sweet and sour chicken then an extra £1,80 for the sauce??? I explained that i had not requested an extra portion just for it to be separate from the battered chicken, she went on to say that they put more sauce in the separate portion than they would on the chicken and therefore charge for a separate portion. I said i had never had this problem at any other chinese takeaway but the woman refused to refund the cost of the sweet and sour sauce. On returning home the chicken was more like popcorn chicken (see photo) £5 for a few tiny pieces of poor quality battered chicken!!! Would definately not recommend or be returning. On looking at other reviews you would think that they would listen to complaints and learn from them as there are plenty of other better quality chinese takeaways in the area.

Ordered a take out and when I got home I found a huge black hair entwined between the chicken so I called back and explained the situation .. the lady was SO rude on the phone, I asked for a refund because I didn’t feel comfortable eating the dish and she refused and then hung up on me. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I’m in absolute shock. They are now ignoring the phone. We were regular customers.... don’t bother spending/wasting your money here!!!

Excellent service and food was excellent, service excellent,the house specials are very good,they do a very good kendo spareribs.

Called in on New Year’s Eve for two chicken dishes with a portion of rice and chips. Cost was nearly £14 . Really disappointing. Chose different dishes but tasted very similar. The amount of chicken I got would barely fill an egg cup. Won’t be going back . Feel ripped off

This takeaway is really nice and we’ve had a nice meal every time we’ve been but you do need to order plenty if you’re hungry as all the mains come in small foil trays so there’s not much but it’s always tasty.

never disapoints here, food always great, piping hot and a good price, they will happily adapt a dish if you ask, always a winner at our house.

Bought 4 portions of chicken balls costing £19.60... more like 10 pieces of popcorn chicken. Charged the same price for sweet and sour chicken but without the sauce. Disgusted I could have made the same myself for less than a fiver.... since they did not address the situation when we questioned it only option to bring it onto trip advisor.

Ordered fillet steak Cantonese style. First of all all of the main dishes come in small trays which is poor considering how expensive this Chinese is! This definitely was not fillet steak. The dish was filled mainly with sauce and what tasted like raw crunchy onions with only a few small chunks of beef. Very poor.

Este es un lugar popular pero el servicio era excelente. Este es el tipo de lugar donde te dan una comida para comer en casa o en su caravana de vacaciones, por ejemplo tal vez con algunos vinos bien. ;) me encanta el spring rolls, que creo que son caseras y lo que realmente hace la diferencia. Me gusta que mi pareja vegetarianos ama los carne. Muchos platos para elegir, el precio es asequible para una pequeña ciudad próspera.

Y que dice que todo es un auténtico tome distancia con una amplia variedad de platos - nunca decepciona y la prueba es los tiempos de espera - si llamas a las 6. 30 La señora super a cargo de decir listo en unos 7 - 15 - - cuando llegues siempre lleno - testamento de lo que la gente sabe sobre la buena comida que sirven - - - - Para una pequeña ciudad una muy buena ventaja

Fuimos el viernes pasado por primera vez. Realmente razonable y delicioso llevar. Chow mein ordenados combinados especiales de carne, rollitos de primavera (4) y pan de gambas todo por £9. Comimos todo muy sabroso. Agradable mezcla de carne y verduras con fideos.

Esta pequeña tienda china en Garstang tiene cierta competencia local y después de probar los cuatro, la temporada viene de arriba todos los días. La señora detrás del hasta siempre es amable y acogedor y los chefs son espectaculares. No hay duda en mi mente que la temporada es el mejor que he visto.

Excelente. Volver la próxima semana. Tres de nosotros - entrantes rollitos de primavera, pollo satay costillas bien fuerte mezclas. No mucho tiempo antes de que los platos principales vinieron. Carne de Pato, pollo plumb schewuen schewuen compartir con dos arroz frito demasiado poco fantástica sizzling sabor fresco. China cerveza para ayudar a excelente. Venga a probar. No te decepcionará xx
