A beautiful place to enjoy some quality fresh homemade food. Atmosphere is just right, comfortable and welcoming. Pea and mint soup to start followed by Mushroom and Garlic Risotto, Cajun Salmon and fish & chips. All tasted amazing and served by the friendliest staff around! Will definitely be returning when next in the area. Many thanks 👍

Really disappointed table booked for 5 of us not great portions tea spoon of mint peas on my husbands plate and I scraping of a carrot on my mums. Food wasn't as warm as it should be. Then my neice was wanting vanilla ice cream. Went to the counter to order and was told they were holding back orders and we couldn't get the the wee one her ice-cream not like they had to cook anything. Defo won't be back.

8 of us with 2 dogs got together for a long overdue family meal. The staff had the table ready and quickly had our first round of drinks on the table. None of us thought to get the young lady's name who served our table. But we all agreed that she was incredible. Her calm, pleasant and friendly manner. Combined with her efficiency and she spoke respectfully and clearly. It is fair to say that she massively contributed to our evening. If the owners read this it was last Thursday 12/09/24 and all we can say is that she had dark hair and slim. But please reiterate our thanks and respect for her.

Was at Port Seton Caravan Park with family and thought we would try the Seaglass which is 10mins up the road from Park it was NOT disappointing everything was lovley Staff were very pleasant food was delicious

Had a burger which was raw in the middle Said I didn't want it or a replacement Staff couldn't apologise enough but the manager made me feel uncomfortable for complaining. All she done is take the burger off the bill. Left feeling hungry and disappointed Won't de back

The food and the staff were perfect. Best restaurant in town. Has a small garden in the backyard.

Arrived on the basis of their online menu, not the menu they are running (I liked the look of the gluten free duck). Asked for the roast, told they only have gf gravy so, no. Asked for the steak that came with sauce. Apparently no sauce with the steak because they don’t offer gf sauce. Asked for the blue cheese which they offered with a burger. Told they didn’t do the blue cheese sauce which I pointed out they do blue cheese for the burger so I’ll take the same. Steak arrived with cold. Tomatoes were hotter than the steak itself. I couldn’t be bothered asking for another one as was dining with a child and wanted to hurry up. Also, sticking a blue cheese steak under a hot plate without then making my steak medium was not appealing to me. I let the waitress no and ate it. Chips were rubbish and yet no offer of apology on the bill as standard customer service. Got the rude manager over to which she took off £2.10 (yes that’s 10% off the steak. £21 for a rubbish steak!!!). Shambles of a place suggesting they do gluten free options yet not really. First and last time. Waste of money

Booked take in advance - when we arrived, the table hadn’t been made up even though we were the only table in the back …after an hour we still had no starters and we asked how much longer our food would be - were told a few minutes - we were a group of 8 ..we ordered 4 tomato and basil soups - they brought to the table 1 tomato and basil and the rest carrot and coriander - we said that we hadn’t ordered that and they said oh there was no tomato and basil left and only enough for one but just forgot to ask us if that was ok - we asked if our main meal had been started and the waitress said I’ll check ..she came back and said no they hadn’t so we asked for the bill and after another 10mins of waiting discovered the waitress had gone home as she had finished her shift so she didn’t bother bringing our check she seemed too busy smoking her vape at the till before she left and we had to ask for the bill again 🥴… after an hour and half we only had one plate of soup. Shame the place looked great and reading the reviews it seems commonplace for their customer service to be below standard … am afraid we won’t be back

Visited with my wife and daughter for a week away in Scotland. Food was great , lovely decor and down to earth people. The lady who owned it was a really nice person who made sure everything was as it should be. If I'm back in the area would visit again, unfortunately only visited on our last night and wish we had have visited sooner.

The sticky toffee puddings was definitely one of the best deserts i ever tasted! I would have ordered a second one if we hadnt been in a hurry! 🤩 The steak was very tasty, medium rare as we asked for, the people were very kind to us, and we thought it was pretty affordable, if we ever go back to Scotland we will definitely eat here again 🤩😋

I have eaten at this restaurant many of times now and have to say I enjoy my time there everytime! The food is always delicious and never have to wait long. The lovely staff I’ve spoken to on lots of occasions are more than happy to help and always so welcoming! I really like that I can take my dog in with me too! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was so friendly and very chatty. I will continue to visit this establishment and would recommend to everyone!

Eaten there a few times . Nice environment, food is reasonable. This evening was odd. We dropped in at 5pm, table for three. Place was 90% empty They made a big thing about the whole place being booked, but they'll find us a table. They said they had big party of 20 ( which was nowhere to be seen ) so, if they can take our orders, they'll get the meals out ahead of the 20( made sense ) The food arrived at express time, good food no problem Staff were panicking and literally running around the place like there was a fire, still no sign of all these people arriving, we felt frustrated by their stressed out behaviour, it felt as if we had been squeezed In and they were doing us a favour Quite simply , if they can't take the booking just say so and we'll move on, no problem. We don't need a favour we need a relaxed and un rushed dining experience Maybe have a dessert and a coffee. We were clearly too much trouble, they can't handle the work so best to pay up and leave Thanks for your trouble guys We won't inconvenience you again

We chose this place because it was close to the campsite where we were staying. Very welcoming atmosphere and all delicious dishes. The “Sunday roast” is highly recommended if you eat here on Sunday. Friendly staff and very honest prices (around 20 pounds each with main course + beer + dessert)

Dear me. I noticed someone else saying they felt an inconvenience and they hit the nail on the head. We arrived and the place had 2 other groups in - think they were about 8 people tops at that point. We were a group of 7 and after asking 4 times and being told "you're the next table" twice, our food came out over an hour later. We ordered three burgers, one risotto, prawns starter, lamb curry and the chicken. Risotto came out first(!!) and prawns last. The service was absolutely appalling. Apparently they were a chef down but all they needed to do was tell us there was a delay before we sat down so we could chose. Appreciate and love they cook from scratch but over hour to cook a burger and plate 5 prawns? I suspect the order was forgotten and they didn't want to tell us. We asked to see the manager and was told she was too busy. We were then offered £10 off the bill for our inconvenience. Not even a "I'm so sorry, this is unusual we so appreciate your patience." The manager did eventually come out but still no apology. We did in the end get three drinks removed which was just over £10 but not sure they realized it was the gesture, not the ££ we were after. Just acknowledge that it wasn't a great experience. One of the waitresses kept apologising but we really felt that we were getting in the way of the evening they were having. We're tourists, we're not going to go back, we wouldnt recommend anyone going there, we're not going to cost them business and they probably thought we were just whinging visitors. But if you go, please ask how long the service time is. Food was great!

To be honest this is a hard one to review, I have never experienced before the lack of services while being a paying customer. We were a family of 3, we al ordered the “macaroni”. To be honest it was disgusting. Obviously made by precooked pasta and mixed with some concoction of chemicals, colourings and additives to resemble cheese sauce. It told mere minutes to be brought to the table. It was cold. When I took it to the bar and told the barman it was cold, he called the waitress and said he would get her to fix it. It was fixed obviously with a blast in the microwave, then brought back and dumped in front of us without a single word spoken. I got the impression that we were an inconvenience to them from the minute we walked in the door. Nobody came to clear our table or ask if we wanted sweets. I had to cal the waitress for my bill when she was at the next table. Bill paid still without the waitress speaking. And no it wasn’t busy, it was almost empty.

Unfortunately main came cold, reheat was fine, maintained it's heat levels until it was finished. For Mac and cheese it had an odd taste, can't explain it.

Visited Friday 26th August. All Gf food was not available. When food eventually arrived it was overcooked and badly presented, totally unappetising, and Serving staff were great. Despite being shouted and sworn at by the male behind the bar. Disgusting bullying behaviour, bad atmosphere, music was so loud, couldn't speak to company. Appalling experience all round don't waste your time or money.

Here for holiday, first day was my mums birthday. Amazing experience given there was only one staff member on shift. Food was amazing, great value for money and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend

I visited the Seaglass inn with my husband and our 17 year old daughter on the 21st July 24, we are staying at the haven site seaton sands and this pub/restaurant is about a ten min stroll along the sea front from where we are staying and well worth a visit, the restaurant is family friendly and has the most amazing food the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, we booked a table however we arrived earlier then we expected however this didn’t make a difference we were seated quickly and served straight away we would definitely recommend this inn to everyone visiting the area we will definitely be calling in again before we go home on Saturday thanks to all the staff,

Very boring food. Children's meals were very sober. Waited long.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was partly more, partly less convincing. After a false fire alarm and a wait of almost 50 minutes, we got our food. The fish and chips were pretty standard, not particularly good and not particularly bad. In general the food wasn't really seasoned. The Catch of the Day (today cod) was also okay but not very seasoned. The beef burger was pretty average. What I was very pleasantly surprised by was the mac 'n cheese. These were really excellent. But now to the children's menus. Although these were very cheap at £5, they were nowhere near as good as the rest of the food. Selling three pieces of frozen pizza with a few fries as a full-fledged Margherita pizza is a disgrace to me. The burger wasn't much better. Not even the normal burger bun was used. Instead there was a cheap bun that would even be better in the supermarket. There wasn't even lettuce in the burger. Just a boring burger bun and a lousy patty. All in all a good restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The only thing you should plan for is plenty of time and not resort to the children's menus.

All a bit chaotic. Admittedly it was almost the end of lunchtime but they had run out of the soup of the day and the substitute was not great. The staff were nice though.

Had a lovely 2 coarse in here for my granddaughters birthday I had pate then a brie bacon and cranberry toastie ...there were 8 Adults and 6 children the service was really good and food was great to would definitely go back 😬

First visit service felt rushed and was charged for an item that we did not order which was sorted out by a member of staff

1 member of staff was not to pleasant had to ask for condiment dinner cold had to be returned steak pie was OK but actual portion was small with 6 pieces of cold veg asked for zinfandel rose wine well it was revolting did say to the member of staff but all I got I return was it I was here 2 years ago and was better than it is now very disappointed I also noticed other people returning their meals

I had looked at the menu before I went, and they had a much more extensive menu online to what was handed to me in the venue. We picked things that were not on the basic menu (lamb shank and the duck), the lamb curry and fish and chips we ended up having to pick were lovely, and the service was perfect. I would go back, but I would want the better menu next time.

Ate here last night had amazing food, I had 2 starters my friend had special, the said it was fantastic. I had prawns and chilli the sauce was to die for, prawns beautifully cooked and chicken liver pate which was delicious and the crostini was beautiful, I would have licked the plates if I could.

Lovely dinner, food was really nice! We had the catch of the day and a steak pie which was to die for. Very friendly staff. Pros - dogs are allowed :)

We visited here whilst on holiday at the Seton Sands holiday park, we were a table of 7 with 2 children 2 and under. The staff were very attentive and nothing at all was a bother! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced! I would 100% recommend talking a walk or a short drive up We will definitely be visiting again!

Loved the service, Michelle was a delight to be looked after hy, food was amazing. Haloumi fries, Bruchetta, Fish & Chips, Calamari, butter fried prawns.

We had lunch here today. We were the only customers. The waitress was very pleasant and extremely friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the haggis wellington. The steak pie and mash and the sticky toffee pudding with cream. I can honestly say it's the best meal I have had in a long time. I will be back.

We arrived for a week in Longniddry on a Friday evening. We thought we'll have a few drinks here. Looked like a pleasant and friendly place.We weren't wrong ! Nice staff, warm welcome with a relaxed atmosphere. Its bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We were impressed. All ages would be ok here, not a rowdy place, mainly people enjoying food or sitting chatting. Lots of good looking dishes being served, we can't comment on food, except was being well received from the customers, will definitely indulge on our next visit, as we had eaten earlier. Not a huge menu, but all classics are there and offers a good variey, Scottish haggis spring rolls with clapshot and whisky sauce. Mmm!! 😋 Love it when I see haggis on the menu everywhere here !! Cocktails and beers, gd selections and nice deserts too on the menu. Will be back to try food soon. 👍 x May 2024: We have now tried the food, Would recommend the Thai fishcakes with red chilli jam, very flavoursome, this was a starter and I had another starter of Haggis Wellington with clapshot and whisky sauce. Nicely cooked and presented, needed more pepper and spice for me .. but each personal preference varies. My husband had a burger, but thought he'd picked the veggie option and would have like a meaty version. Next time we can try their homecooked pies, which are said to be worth it. 👍!!

The place itself looks lovely. However, food is very overpriced and the music was far too loud. The waiting staff were rude and ignorant. They left our food sitting on the hot shelf for a long time before serving it to us. Once they noticed we could see our food sat going cold, they placed a plastic standing wall in front of the serving area so we couldn’t see it anymore. Then continued to make us wait another 5/10 minutes. Not great

Staying in local holiday park and also my partners birthday so booked a table for tonight, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food , especially the salt and pepper calamari it was perfect.service was great highly recommend.

Despite being busy, service was good and friendly, food to a high standard and very tasty with good portions. We'll be back

Couldn't fault this place at all. We were on holiday to seton sands and came across this place. It was beautiful, modern and very spacious. The staff were lovely and service was very quick. We ordered steak pie . It was absolutely beautiful, as was our apples pies and chocolate fudge cake. The pricing was so reasonable. One of the best places we have eaten out in, in a long time. Went for an early dinner as was staying down the road at Haven. The host was lovely and the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. We had fish and chips, pie and mash and the Balmoral chicken, all of which was delicious! Would recommend!

Went for a meal for a family birthday.. Staff were amazing, food arrived quickly and was hot. Had a brilliant time. Jack was fabulous at looking after us. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our mid walk break at this human and dog friendly pub. We are warmly welcomed (even with 6 dogs in tow) - lunch was lovely with friendly polite service Well recommended if your walking the shoreside footpath.

Good food and reasonable selection of beers. No ales. It's a great looking building from the outside and huge inside.

An on the spur of the moment decision to pop in here for food. Good choice at lunch time. Good food and beer choices. The food was a good portion and great quality. The chicken noodles and a burger with choice of toppings were great.

Looks quite small from the outside but ample room inside. The ordered fish and chips were a delight. Good service from staff and meal hot when served at the table. As we went for a meal early afternoon, the place was quiet. I will return when in the area.

I only stopped off for a latte. But enjoyed the visit none the less. So plan to return to sample the menu in the next couple of weeks

Nicely decorated but cold, staff took an age to take our orders, then it was nearly 45 mins before it arrived food was not great, we then ordered a dessert and it arrived cold. Would NOT recommend .

We were in the area on holiday and popped in for a meal. The food was absolutely amazing. I would go as far as to say that the king prawn starter was the best I had ever had. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. We would most certainly return.

The poorest choice of beers mostly lagers dark beers were awful. There were real ale pumps but no beer in them Also, it's very noisy

Lovely place. Food was good but was there with a vegan and the only option was a veggie burger but the buns were not suitable for vegans. They did provide a nice salad instead

Popped in here while on holiday for dinner. Staff were lovely and friendly, sorted us a table. Place was lovely and clean and tidy, food was lush we had mussels and prawn starters, lamb curry main and chicken with bacon stuffed with haggis. Would definitely recommend for food, reasonably priced and great quality food, the mussels and prawn starters were amazing 🤩

As soon as we saw the outside of this place, we knew we wanted to visit for lunch. When we walked in, we were glad we did. It was beautiful! Stylish and trendy, it was more like a city-centre restaurant than a quiet seaside inn. The food was stunning, tasty, and varied. My husband tried haggis bon bons, which looked so good, the whole family tried them... a first for us all!! They were lovely. The noodles were delicious, and my youngest was very happy with her kids' menu. The waitress was lovely - she made sure our every need was seen to and she gave us lots of information to enjoy our holiday further. We would definitely recommend it!!

What an amazing place. Cherise served us and although we had not been there before as we are from South Wales she was a breath of fresh air. So jolly and nothing too much trouble. The food is cooked fresh and home made. The steak pie with gravy was the best I have eaten and the veg and mashed potato were delicious. My grandson had chunky chips with his pie and the chips were not frozen but fresh potato chips. We cant wait to return before we travel home. Also they do gluten free food as my husband is a ceoliac. Compliments to the chef
