Visited Friday 26th August. All Gf food was not available. When food eventually arrived it was overcooked and badly presented, totally unappetising, and Serving staff were great. Despite being shouted and sworn at by the male behind the bar. Disgusting bullying behaviour, bad atmosphere, music was so loud, couldn't speak to company. Appalling experience all round don't waste your time or money.

Here for holiday, first day was my mums birthday. Amazing experience given there was only one staff member on shift. Food was amazing, great value for money and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend

I visited the Seaglass inn with my husband and our 17 year old daughter on the 21st July 24, we are staying at the haven site seaton sands and this pub/restaurant is about a ten min stroll along the sea front from where we are staying and well worth a visit, the restaurant is family friendly and has the most amazing food the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, we booked a table however we arrived earlier then we expected however this didn’t make a difference we were seated quickly and served straight away we would definitely recommend this inn to everyone visiting the area we will definitely be calling in again before we go home on Saturday thanks to all the staff,

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was partly more, partly less convincing. After a false fire alarm and a wait of almost 50 minutes, we got our food. The fish and chips were pretty standard, not particularly good and not particularly bad. In general the food wasn't really seasoned. The Catch of the Day (today cod) was also okay but not very seasoned. The beef burger was pretty average. What I was very pleasantly surprised by was the mac 'n cheese. These were really excellent. But now to the children's menus. Although these were very cheap at £5, they were nowhere near as good as the rest of the food. Selling three pieces of frozen pizza with a few fries as a full-fledged Margherita pizza is a disgrace to me. The burger wasn't much better. Not even the normal burger bun was used. Instead there was a cheap bun that would even be better in the supermarket. There wasn't even lettuce in the burger. Just a boring burger bun and a lousy patty. All in all a good restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The only thing you should plan for is plenty of time and not resort to the children's menus.

All a bit chaotic. Admittedly it was almost the end of lunchtime but they had run out of the soup of the day and the substitute was not great. The staff were nice though.

Had a lovely 2 coarse in here for my granddaughters birthday I had pate then a brie bacon and cranberry toastie ...there were 8 Adults and 6 children the service was really good and food was great to would definitely go back 😬

First visit service felt rushed and was charged for an item that we did not order which was sorted out by a member of staff

I had looked at the menu before I went, and they had a much more extensive menu online to what was handed to me in the venue. We picked things that were not on the basic menu (lamb shank and the duck), the lamb curry and fish and chips we ended up having to pick were lovely, and the service was perfect. I would go back, but I would want the better menu next time.

1 member of staff was not to pleasant had to ask for condiment dinner cold had to be returned steak pie was OK but actual portion was small with 6 pieces of cold veg asked for zinfandel rose wine well it was revolting did say to the member of staff but all I got I return was it I was here 2 years ago and was better than it is now very disappointed I also noticed other people returning their meals

Ate here last night had amazing food, I had 2 starters my friend had special, the said it was fantastic. I had prawns and chilli the sauce was to die for, prawns beautifully cooked and chicken liver pate which was delicious and the crostini was beautiful, I would have licked the plates if I could.

Lovely dinner, food was really nice! We had the catch of the day and a steak pie which was to die for. Very friendly staff. Pros - dogs are allowed :)

We visited here whilst on holiday at the Seton Sands holiday park, we were a table of 7 with 2 children 2 and under. The staff were very attentive and nothing at all was a bother! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced! I would 100% recommend talking a walk or a short drive up We will definitely be visiting again!

Loved the service, Michelle was a delight to be looked after hy, food was amazing. Haloumi fries, Bruchetta, Fish & Chips, Calamari, butter fried prawns.

We had lunch here today. We were the only customers. The waitress was very pleasant and extremely friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the haggis wellington. The steak pie and mash and the sticky toffee pudding with cream. I can honestly say it's the best meal I have had in a long time. I will be back.

We arrived for a week in Longniddry on a Friday evening. We thought we'll have a few drinks here. Looked like a pleasant and friendly place.We weren't wrong ! Nice staff, warm welcome with a relaxed atmosphere. Its bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We were impressed. All ages would be ok here, not a rowdy place, mainly people enjoying food or sitting chatting. Lots of good looking dishes being served, we can't comment on food, except was being well received from the customers, will definitely indulge on our next visit, as we had eaten earlier. Not a huge menu, but all classics are there and offers a good variey, Scottish haggis spring rolls with clapshot and whisky sauce. Mmm!! 😋 Love it when I see haggis on the menu everywhere here !! Cocktails and beers, gd selections and nice deserts too on the menu. Will be back to try food soon. 👍 x May 2024: We have now tried the food, Would recommend the Thai fishcakes with red chilli jam, very flavoursome, this was a starter and I had another starter of Haggis Wellington with clapshot and whisky sauce. Nicely cooked and presented, needed more pepper and spice for me .. but each personal preference varies. My husband had a burger, but thought he'd picked the veggie option and would have like a meaty version. Next time we can try their homecooked pies, which are said to be worth it. 👍!!

The place itself looks lovely. However, food is very overpriced and the music was far too loud. The waiting staff were rude and ignorant. They left our food sitting on the hot shelf for a long time before serving it to us. Once they noticed we could see our food sat going cold, they placed a plastic standing wall in front of the serving area so we couldn’t see it anymore. Then continued to make us wait another 5/10 minutes. Not great

Staying in local holiday park and also my partners birthday so booked a table for tonight, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food , especially the salt and pepper calamari it was perfect.service was great highly recommend.

Despite being busy, service was good and friendly, food to a high standard and very tasty with good portions. We'll be back

Food was beautiful and surroundings were very nice and comfortable. Service was good no massive issues just had to remind the waitress about cutlery and one drink we had asked for no ice and we were given ice so absolutely no major issues at all. Would loved to have given a 5 star but not far off.

Couldn't fault this place at all. We were on holiday to seton sands and came across this place. It was beautiful, modern and very spacious. The staff were lovely and service was very quick. We ordered steak pie . It was absolutely beautiful, as was our apples pies and chocolate fudge cake. The pricing was so reasonable. One of the best places we have eaten out in, in a long time. First time in today, 10 of us plus a dog. Staff very friendly, food really good. Lovely decor, spotless toilets. Children welcome. Would recommend, we will be back.

Went for an early dinner as was staying down the road at Haven. The host was lovely and the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. We had fish and chips, pie and mash and the Balmoral chicken, all of which was delicious! Would recommend!

Went for a meal for a family birthday.. Staff were amazing, food arrived quickly and was hot. Had a brilliant time. Jack was fabulous at looking after us. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our mid walk break at this human and dog friendly pub. We are warmly welcomed (even with 6 dogs in tow) - lunch was lovely with friendly polite service Well recommended if your walking the shoreside footpath.

Good food and reasonable selection of beers. No ales. It's a great looking building from the outside and huge inside.

An on the spur of the moment decision to pop in here for food. Good choice at lunch time. Good food and beer choices. The food was a good portion and great quality. The chicken noodles and a burger with choice of toppings were great.

Looks quite small from the outside but ample room inside. The ordered fish and chips were a delight. Good service from staff and meal hot when served at the table. As we went for a meal early afternoon, the place was quiet. I will return when in the area.

Nicely decorated but cold, staff took an age to take our orders, then it was nearly 45 mins before it arrived food was not great, we then ordered a dessert and it arrived cold. Would NOT recommend .

Show sports on TV so quite noisy if a match fixture is on.

We were in the area on holiday and popped in for a meal. The food was absolutely amazing. I would go as far as to say that the king prawn starter was the best I had ever had. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. We would most certainly return.

The poorest choice of beers mostly lagers dark beers were awful. There were real ale pumps but no beer in them Also, it's very noisy

Lovely place. Food was good but was there with a vegan and the only option was a veggie burger but the buns were not suitable for vegans. They did provide a nice salad instead

Popped in here while on holiday for dinner. Staff were lovely and friendly, sorted us a table. Place was lovely and clean and tidy, food was lush we had mussels and prawn starters, lamb curry main and chicken with bacon stuffed with haggis. Would definitely recommend for food, reasonably priced and great quality food, the mussels and prawn starters were amazing 🤩

As soon as we saw the outside of this place, we knew we wanted to visit for lunch. When we walked in, we were glad we did. It was beautiful! Stylish and trendy, it was more like a city-centre restaurant than a quiet seaside inn. The food was stunning, tasty, and varied. My husband tried haggis bon bons, which looked so good, the whole family tried them... a first for us all!! They were lovely. The noodles were delicious, and my youngest was very happy with her kids' menu. The waitress was lovely - she made sure our every need was seen to and she gave us lots of information to enjoy our holiday further. We would definitely recommend it!!

What an amazing place. Cherise served us and although we had not been there before as we are from South Wales she was a breath of fresh air. So jolly and nothing too much trouble. The food is cooked fresh and home made. The steak pie with gravy was the best I have eaten and the veg and mashed potato were delicious. My grandson had chunky chips with his pie and the chips were not frozen but fresh potato chips. We cant wait to return before we travel home. Also they do gluten free food as my husband is a ceoliac. Compliments to the chef

Really nice bar/ restaurant. Staff were friendly and they made a big fuss of the dogs. Food was nice as well

Food could have been a little warmer. Service started off a bit poor but the chap who took over did very well.

Lovely evening spent with friends catching up whilst listening to live music. Barman very helpful and even brought our drinks to our table. No waiting at the bar.

Pleased to say the Seaglass has a more extensive menu than when l visited last year. The choice of starter, mains and dessert were well thought through, myself and my friend had the mussels for starters which were very tasty and not too large a portion, l had the lamb curry, rice, nan bread and mango chutney, one of the best curries l have had in a bistro bar for some considerable time, delicious. My friend had fish and chips, fish delivered fresh that day, he said it extremely tasty. One dessert between us, their dessert of the day again lovely. It was all so much better than the last time l visited l have already booked a return visit. We were there on a Wednesday evening so the place not very busy but l would expect it to be at the weekend so would recommend booking so not to be disappointed. The staff were professional and knowledgeable and the service excellent. I would gladly recommend the Seaglass for a tasty bar supper which was not overpriced. Enjoy.

Setting is lovely, immaculately clean and staff were nice and friendly. The food was good, nicer than a "pub grub" starter was tiny but mains decent. My toddlers cleared their plates but my oldest (who wouldn't have managed an "adult" main) was still hungry and had to have an extra portion of chips. We were told by the waitress that the kids portions were small so my fault really. Would return if we were in the area.

Large mussels portion @£10+ was quite small, made even smaller by the amount of empty shells Two thin measly slice of bread to mop it up had to ask for more bread and the chips with parsesan and truffle oil was again small about 250ml. Nice modern pub with comfortable chairs. The toilets were OK but only one of the three had any toilet paper in. Thr staff although young and inexperienced (a milky coffee was given as a flat white) were pleasant enough, sadly a below average experience.

Came to seaton sands for a family weekend away. Went to seaglass for dinner after booking a table, realised there were a few dogs around (my son is allergic), and we requested a table away from any animals. We asked for the kids' meals to come when they were ready, which they did, not thinking the rest would take a further 20 minutes, so by then, the little ones were done and restless. The food was tasteless-mac and cheese had no flavour, the steak pie -yes was flavourful but onlt filled half way and for the price very disappointing. for 8 of us, this was a big expense, and one we won't be back to try again. Can i just say the service staff were lovely, friendly

Wouldn't recommend. I took my family here for lunch. After being seated we waited 15 minutes to be given a menu. At this stage the server said in front of my kids that the kids menu was way too small (my kids are 9 and 12), which is not great and I think they were trying to upsell the main and more expensive menu. After 44 minutes our food had not arrived, and annoyingly a table who arrived after us were served before us. We asked why this was and were told it was because theirs was a smaller order. We decided to walk out, and I did return to pay for the drinks. At this point the manager made a point of telling me that there was only one chef on and we were told that when we were seated. This did not happen, and in fact I believe the manager was also the "chef"! Staff generally inattentive, and this is when it was very quiet...there was only one other table seated when my party arrived. Such a shame as its a nice place, but the service and quality just is not there. I don't typically expect much, but do wish for my custom to be appreciated. In the end they charged us for all of the drinks, there was no apology, and I won't be returning. Rated 2 stars rather than 1 as the coffee was good.

Very poor went today portion size is so small left me hungry and wait was so long...for pub food it's expensive and cheap quality it's place u wouldn't go back too after first experience better of getting chippy across road folks don't waste Ur money 💰

We dropped in with our wee dog hadn't booked but had a lovely welcome and so did Ted with some dog treats! Muscles were the best & plenty to eat. Lamb shank just amazing. Haggis bon bons yummy. Sunday roast just perfect. Our food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Staff were very professional and friendly. Glad we found this wee gem of a place today. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning ❤️

The Sea Glass restuarant without doubt help make our holiday in Seton Sands enjoyable. We used it to pop in for drinks it's a lovely venue and for meals. The staff were welcoming and efficient.we wish it was in our locality.

Toastie was made with cheap white bread, no alternative, accompanying side salad limp and unclean with no dressing served with “white” fries. Service was awful waited 40 mins and place was empty. Sorry Seaglass, such a lovely place but my experience was awful.

Popped in for a late lunch and wasn't disappointed. Our usually picky kids, one with sensory issues, cleared their plates and asked for a second helping of fries. The food was lovely and reasonably priced and the waitress was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return if we visit the area again

Booked a table for 16 of us for Sunday lunch after seeing advertisement of the meal on Facebook. Disappointment is an understatement, food did taste nice, however portion size for £14 is ridiculous. Half of the portion advertised and the meat was very bland. When we queried portion size, we were told from the kitchen "this is our portion size" Lovely bar and friendly staff, but will not return for food again.

Nice Sunday dinner but portion size is really small. 2 slices of meat, carrots, long beans, spoon full of mash and 3 roasties. Not worth £14 at all. Was more like a kids meal.

Food was okay. Better than general pub food. The staff were nice but after ordering (mains and then puddings later) both took a while. Especially pudding which was only cake and ice-cream but had to wait 15/20 mins I think. Think they were just busy which is good. Also, sadly, they had run out of a lot of stuff on the menu and a few things at the bar. Maybe just a super busy Easter weekend though? (We went Easter Sunday). Nice interior though and it was still a good meal.

It was my Brother's 70th Birthday and we had Sunday Lunch. The staff of Amy, Jack and Becky could not have been more help. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Thank you Amy, Jack and Becky for making my Brother's Birthday so very special.

Had a lovely evening at the Seaglass in Port Seton. This place has gotten better and better with each visit. The staff were particularly excellent this evening. Food was absolutely delicious with the fish I ordered cooked to perfection and equally as important, they know how to properly pour a pint of Guinness in here👏

This is our favourite watering hole i East Lothian. The food is fantastic and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Christine Becky Amy Liam and jack to Mention a few are all amazing and very accommodating to requests. Overall we can’t fault anything, from a wide selection of draught beers and ipas wines and whisky’s gins and vodkas. Thanks again andrew and maria
