I had a fish/ pasty / two batter sausages chips, all very fresh, tasty batter pleasant staff all at a dessert price

My first visit since 1982, exceptionally good value compared to nearby chippys, for a delicious fish supper. Wish I'd returned sooner!

Didn't even get to try the food no forks just these silly wooden things how am I supposed to eat chips sausage beans and cheese and partner got chips and peas what are we ment to do eat one bean at a time what a waste of £20 NOT HAPPY

Excellent, staff friendly, got a great team, food excellent, so fresh, fish suppers, pasties, chicken burger, curry sauce delicious.

It was the best fish I have had in awhile well worth the money defo will be back also got hot dog and a cheeseburger for my son

Fish was delicious but our chips were soggy and not at all the usual standard. Very shocked and disappointed.

Decided to go here when the fryer tuck closed, now travel from Holywood every Saturday for takeaways. Last week massive queue but staff so quick and efficient. Food always well cooked and still hot when get home.

Reheated cold chips, poorly cooked pasty and soggy fish batter. Not a pleasant experience. Better chippy s about.

Ive only found this place in the last month or so, i enjoy a nice fish supper and ive tried everywhere going.. they do the best fish, its delicious and so light. The pasties/burgers/battered chicken are amazing also. Its my now go to

Called in belive it or not, for the first time in about 40 years, lived in Cooneen Way then, recognised the owner, and have to say 100% the same as I remembered. Crispy white fish ,not too much batter, fresh cut real potato chips, burgers, according to my grandsons ,BRILLIANT. Thank you for a lovely meal really made or evening. 👍

Fish was TASTY! A great solid amount of mass and not just all batter like some places. Sweet curry sauce was good too.

Was fast service although I asked for 2 small chips and was give a chips that would fill a one year old. Portion sizes are very small. Wouldn't rush back tbh

Best chippy around. Always a queue at it - 17 when I was there. Thankfully it wasn’t raining as Covid restrictions have us queuing outside. The queues are testament to the quality of food. Extremely clean too. Well worth a trip to it - or pre-order and collect to save yourself time queuing.

Can be hit and miss... Tonight was a hit with sausage and chips. We were in need of a fast chippy dinner & our usual was queued out the door, Seafry is expensive compared to other fryers in the area but decent feed tonight.

It was great until his son took over now you don't get a good amount of chips for your money, but they are OK

If you are trying this excellent chippy for the first time, best advice is make sure you get a portion of curry. Amazing

Omg I have gotten chicken fillet burgers from Chris at the sea fry from I was a child and they are honestly by far the best ever in Belfast and Bangor! Love the charity work he does also raising money for kids in Africa

I love the Sea Fry and have been going for over 10 years. They are one of the best quality chippies in Belfast. Everything is freshly made with good quality ingredients. Famous for fantastic fish the home made pasties and burgers are delicious. There chips are also wonderful. The only small criticism I could have is that their portions can be on the small side but overall I think it's worth it.

Freshly cooked fish and chips, they tend not to have stuff left out in the warmer. Size of the cod is large, good value. Batter is light and tasty, whilst the chips are fresh.

Food is ok , but portions definitely not. ‘Jumbo chip’ is the same as a small portion in most other chippies.

Tasty food cooked fresh while you wait. Friendly staff, while in was there last week an elderly gentleman came in saying his car wouldn't start, a staff member went out to see if he could help.

Been using the Sea Fry for years now. Wouldnt go anywhere else for fish &and chips. Always same excellent quality. Excellent.

Ordered a gravy chip, £3.70. It was a small box, half full and I queried this and was told that it was portion size. The gravy was also so runny that it went all over my car on the journey home. Wouldn’t recommend.

Chips nice, sausages cooked well but not burned. Overall food was good but portion was not. Standard portion of chips (£2.60) did not fill the standard styrene tray that all chip shops use. Disappointed when chips were unwrapped. 2 star rating as we felt not great value for money.

Best chippy in Belfast. This is a great place for a carryout. Food always cooked fresh , may result in a small wait. But the best things come to those who wait, and this is the best. Delicious food, cooked to perfection. This place is my favourite for fish and chips . Burgers are good and a great choice. If you're in the area, or within a ten miles radius it well worth a visit. If you don't like it I'll eat my hat. Just as long as it's cooked at the Sea Fry. Staff are friendly and polite, and like a wee chat. Also, they raise money for charity, so a few coppers would be appreciated. Going to a very good cause .😋

Food is delicious!!! Takes quite a long time for food to be prepared but I’m not annoyed as it’s all homemade. one let down is waiting I think there should be seats to sit on while waiting for ur order.

Been here a few times. Portions of chips especially when ordering a supper are disappointing and not reflected in the price. It is good food though and made quite quick.

Good portion sizes and inexpensive

A staple of the Rosetta area. The chips are the best I remember, and best a lot of other chippies. The staff have been there a long time and have a great working relationship with the customers. Its has been a long tradition of high quality food (albeit pasties and sausages) but the reason it has been there for decades is that the quality and service are consistently high. The chicken burgers are my favourite! As you mainly get your dinner in the evening you can park easily in the areas reserved for the other shops in the adjacent area. Well work the visit!

The chips are the best but I haven't had the fish. Will change once I have tasted the fish.
