Sadly none of the staff are wearing kilts 😊 - and the range of Scottish beers needs extending. Nice list of whiskey and good rooftop beer garden

I visited this pub tonight and was very disappointed. It took several attempts to explain to the bar staff that I expected a full pint of beer. They expected me to pay £4.90 for a pint glass which was quite clearly not full. I was accused of being rude to the staff which was not so. I remained calm and did not use any bad language. I will not come here again.

Found The Scottish Stores quite by accident as the bar I would normally visit pre-train journey was closed due to CV-19 restrictions and I am so pleased I did. Signing in to meet current laws was straightforward and the chap serving me, Joel I think was his name, explained what was the current rules, introduced the required menu for substantial meal purposes and was generally very professional and friendly. Great range of real ales, I was drinking an American Pale Ale called N1 from the Hammerton Brewery, which Joel told me is brewed ten minutes walk along the Caledonian Road from the pub. Pizza I had was excellent, so all in all a great find, a traditional pub next to Kings Cross station with fabulous atmosphere.

Este lugar tiene dos lados: un lado de pub tradicional y un lado de bar de vinos espacioso. Tiene mucho ambiente y personal que parece disfrutar de su tiempo allí. Gran selección de cervezas de barril en ambos bares. Tocan buena música y también sirven deliciosas pizzas. Visitaremos nuevamente.

Gran servicio, ambiente agradable, comida decente de degustación, variada carta de vinos, pero el servicio fue un poco demasiado pequeño. Aunque lo pasé muy bien.

This was my second time at The Wine Stores for free flowing prosecco and a platter for 2. This time it was with friends, I really hoped it would be as good as last time and I wasn't disappointed ....... I'm sure we had more to drink than last time per person and the platter was very festive. But my big shout out goes to Silvana who looked after us all evening, nothing was too much for her and I would like to extend my thanks again for making our visit twice as good as last time. Hopefully you will remember us, we visited 9pm on the 22nd December - Hope you had a good Christmas Silvana and all the very best for the New year, I'm hoping to come again soon.

Ordered a hamburger and chicken burger for £10 each. With the latter got a glass of wine for £2.50 extra. Glass of wine (merlot) was nice but otherwise hamburger was overcooked and small. Chicken burger was like a slightly oversized chicken nugget with some lettuce. Both had a half gherkin, which was probably the best part of each burger. Without said gherkin the burgers resembled a smaller version of what you might get from a school fete (sadly no photos were taken). There were plenty of chips, however, to make up for the sad-looking burgers. When asked how the meal was, I replied the burger was abit small. I only got a blank stare. Perhaps we should have paid attention to the “Eating is cheating. But not when you’re eating one of our burgers” sign outside. Certainly not a meal I would be expecting for £10 at a pub for, and most definitely not at a wine bar/ Gastropub. We have gone twice now, and won’t be returning.

Food was great, so much Prosecco! Highly recommend! Groupon deal Is highly worth it! (Mini fish and ships is the best)

Nice place and good buzz. However got a premium red wine that was corked and staff refused to take it back.

I went yesterday with a friend and we had some red wine. I feel this place should have a much bigger selection of wines, given the name, while I recall 4 or 5 options for red wines, which is honestly a very small selection to me. Moreover, you cannot buy a bottle, which is very weird! Maximum amount is 500 ml in a (bit miserable) ikea (or similar) jar. A small decanter would have been nice! No issue with the atmosphere or the service, this is why I am giving them 3 stars

I recently had my joint 30th here and honestly couldn't rave about it any more. The staff were so friendly right from the beginning when we were emailing about dates and they couldn't have been any more attentive on the night. The drinks are so reasonably priced and you can't go wrong with wine on tap and carafes of prosecco. Had such a great time that I recommended it to a friend who is now hosting her engagement drinks there. Definitely found my new work local.

We had an "unlimited" prosecco and platter for 2 (which means in reality 3 x carafes of awful slightly fizzy wine from what I can make out!) the platter was ok, lots of different meats and some bread, butter and mustard. The place is nice enough, low key and the staff were very nice and friendly which is one good thing. One ladies toilet ......seriously! All in all, feel a bit miffed at paying almost £30 for this "deal" but it has tought me to be more careful of where I choose the deals , and read reviews beforehand ! Nice place to go and have a glass or two of wine, but don't bother with groupon "deals"

Maybe a Friday night wasn't the best time to go. I had assumed a sort of wine bar, but it was more just your average pub. We had the Groupon cheese board and unlimited Prosecco for 90 mins deal. Cheese was in abundance, but bread was in short supply. There is only so much supermarket cheddar you can consume though. Annoying was the word 'unlimited'. Seemingly this means 3 - not according to the dictionary.

We booked this via groupon, we were a little sceptical but need not have been. The staff were friendly and the bar really nice. The platters are a little basic but the Prosecco kept flowing. We will definitely be visiting again. We booked this for 2 hours prior to out train home and what a good idea it was.

Had a groupon voucher for prosecco and a meat platter - the venue was lovely, relaxed environment and the staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great time. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in London.
