the food was really good, staff were very friendly and attentive. i would definitely come here again. i put £20-£30 per person but its showing as £10-£20

One pizza, Funghi di Bosco, was missing filling over 1/3 of surface

I have ordered more times pizza and many times came in not proper conditions but we understand that sometimes this could happen ( cheese spread in the. box, cold, a bit burned....) and although this happened we still continue order other times and other times happen the same and today i received a completely different dish of pasta.it is a shame because i like the food from here a lot. pizza is nice but I think food for delivery needs to be improve a bit more as I love to eat pizza from here.

The assistant general manager was welcoming and chatty.

We walked in and were totally ignored by the staff, one was taking orders and 2 were just chatting at the counter, however, when we were eventually greeted the girl was so rude and the way she was looking me and my partner up and down was very uncomfortable, she throw the menus at the table before we even sat. Once we sat she started moving the chairs violently and stormed off. Then she was whispering to the other girl and looking at us making us even more uncomfortable. To that point my husband went over and said do you have a problem? Because you have been very rude and we can clearly see you are talking about us, what the problem? The girl in question was just staring and the other one said no no problem. There was never an apology. I do believe we were treated like this as I was wearing a headscarf. This is absolutely shocking behaviour from staff members at a company like this. We walked off and went to Pizza Express in Clerkenwell, the staff were absolutely amazing, great service and excellent food. A formal complaint has been submitted.

I was cycling home, I had such a long ride ahead of me, I stopped by and asked if I could have some water, the manager or somebody asked 'what sort of a question is that?' and gladly refilled my water bottle and asked if I was hungry, I declined explaining I have food with me, just needed water. Who ever this person was, was so kind and willing to help a passing stranger. Thank you for your kindness and quick polite conversation about how our day had been going and showing each other respect. - I'll pass on the kindness and service 10 fold.

The food was tasty, the thin pizza is very thin and light, the cannelloni was very small and swung in sauces but was tasty as well. There were flies, flying around our food all the time. Very uncomfortable and we felt a bit disgusted. Not coming back for that reason.

This is my local branch and the lovely staff team always go out of their way to make me feel at home. So thank you to : Ella, Emad and Bou. My friend and I shared a bottle of Chardonnay and each had a pizza Fiorentina. Pizza was outstanding. Because I have gold status on their app, we also got a large bottle of sparkling water, a can of Coke and a dolcetti on the house, so worth signing up.

Ordered thin and crispy, just got thin. Staff very good. But a cup of tea for £3.45 with a cup of hot water on the side is not good enough. Someone needs to tell them that tea should be infused at the point of which the water reaches boiling point. I will not be going back.

The wrong pizza was sent to us, we ordered a margarita but were given a garlic prawn pizza. (I am very allergic to prawns) The restaurant offered a new margarita pizza for us but we couldn't collect it due to my friend & I having mobility impacting disabilities & no car. They tried to contact just eat to arrange a new delivery driver but there was no answer. They then wanted me to buy a whole new pizza despite me not being refunded yet. I haven't heard from just eat & this happened on Sunday!

Love going for a pizza here Sat outside with a friend and my small dog Immediately the Waiter Antonio brought some water for my dog Without having to ask for one The the Deputy GM came over with menus We ordered 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine We were asked if we had any allergies And asked many times if we were enjoying the food A great experience and definitely going back

The food was amazing - the padana and calabrese pizza just tastes so unbelievably good. The dough balls were soft and had the perfect amount of garlic taste. Best pizza express location i’ve been to. Thank you to Anthem for his interactive and friendly service that kept us entertained and smiley throughout the dine! Definitely visiting this spot again :)

My favourite pizza restaurant. Although I always eat pizza from authentic Italian restaurants, pizza express is still a great option, especially when you have children. The kids menu is loved by most children. The service quality is not far from a fine dining restaurant. Food is delicious, well priced and served fast.

We passed by Pizza Express wanted to by a take away pizza for kids but Connie who served us receive us very well and convinced us to sit and she offered us great suggestions explaining the menu. American Classic Hottest came up like an artwork with the Hot Honey DB. Thank you Connie, we had a great chat, slice and a drink went home fully satisfied. Looking forward for a dinner with the kids soon.

pizza express is a chain that has been around for a very long time. I went today for the first time in many years and it was just for a quick bite with my friend and our children. I didn’t expect much. I was SO SO wrong. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was delicious, but the service is what made it truly exceptional. We went with my friend’s son (4) my daughter (2) and my son (6 months) and they could not be more accommodating, helpful, understanding, pleasant and generally wonderful. My daughter also has some allergies which they were brilliant with. My friend’s son had a babyccino, and without asking they brought my daughter an oat Milk one so she didn’t feel left out. They were beyond thoughtful. They let me have my pram in an inconvenient place because it was helpful for my baby. Honestly - I was just wowed with how lovely they all were. Thank you to the team there and the staff that served us. My daughter actually asked to go back as soon as we walked out. So we will be coming back if only for the wonderful staff.

Pizza Express at Islington not only met our needs but exceeded them, all this at 9:56 pm on a Sunday night when most restaurants are closing! Returning from a social event, we were craving something snacky to take away for our hour-and-a-half journey home. We were thrilled to see Pizza Express open. Our visit to Pizza Express was exceptional, thanks to our waitress, Ela. Her friendly and attentive service made the evening special. The Margherita pizza was perfect, with a crispy crust and fresh toppings. The creamy, rich ice cream dessert was the perfect ending. Highly recommended!

This was the first time I tried this pizza chain and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was SO good and so was the service. Be warned though, it’s not the prettiest looking joint. When we arrived there was rubbish on the floor.

Driver was in the wrong address ... It was wondering with my pizza at 68a and not at 68 ....seal of the pizza was.broken and pizza stone cold ....I hate incompetence

I love Pizza Express but was really disappointed today. Despite not being busy at all, it took quite long for the order to be taken and too long to get the food. The calamari did look and tasted like microwaved. Pizza was OK but would expect something better for the price we paid.

This company is not serious. I came to pick up my order and they say I have to cancel it because I have to wait 20 minutes. After 20 minutes they said I had to wait another 20 minutes. The waiter isn't even willing to listen to me. Complete lack of respect for suppliers.

We were seated and served before another table, they had starters and mains before we got food. The staff were focused on the takeaways more then the people sitting in. We had to leave having no food and waiting for 50 mins. Terrible, spoilt our day. There is no point in booking a table like we did.

London for the weekend and son fancied PizzaExpress (as usual!) I didn't complain! Was happy to find the Islington branch where we received a warm welcome, food was great, lovely interaction from the team. Made even better by my Gold status on their App, had a great deal! Will be sure to visit again when next in London

The problem was more about transportation than food. One pizza arrived upside down so toppings were a mess, one had obviously been on its side so toppings had slid off. The only thing about the food was that the buttermilk chicken was a little black in parts!

We went for pizza to this PizzaExpress branch, and boy was it good! Great music, amazing food and very friendly staff, who made our little boy feel so special. We had two Romana Duo,which allowed us to have a taste of 4 different pizzas. Pollo Fiesta was my absolute favourite- full of flavour, crispy thin crust, plenty of toppings. Piccolo menu was exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Family of five, popped in on the way to a show . Seated quickly, great food and our server, Emanuel, was very attentive, courteous and good sense of humour.

Reliable staple where the service always puts to shame restaurants 5x more expensive. I've been going on and off for 20 years, so it's not the same waiting staff, which is a testament to Pizza Express's training and management. Their still happy to make me a Napoletana, even though it hasn't been on the menu for a decade. Pro tip: tip in cash so the staff get it directly.

Food was freezing, pizza was covered in tomato sauce and the garlic bread with mozzarella was half the usual size

Me and my family walked into the restaurant and asked to be seated. We kindly asked the staff to allow us to feed our boy chicken nuggets which we had bought from across the street while we order and eat. Both the staff and the subsequent manager who showed up were very rude. Very badly trained and the manager is a rude woman who needs to learn how to talk to people. Terrible place. You need new staff before you lose all your customers. Merry Christmas.

You need to train your staff in how show some respect to people around, especially riders. I've witnessed a horrible scene this afternoon as the waitress(who's from West Africa) was despising one of the delivery riders, treating him as a slave which is really unprofessional and disgusting Shame on you. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Everything is good but the only BAD thing is that one kids pizza takes 40mins to make I had to wait so long for my kids pizza recommend but be ready for taking long so come early
