An extremely cool, must-see experience in Edinburgh. Our tour guide told us everything we needed to know about whisky and its origins, but all of the videos were amazing too. The whisky vault was one of the sickest things I've seen! The tasting was a bit hard to follow, but still very good.

This whiskey experience was very good, it surprised me a lot. They have a large collection of whiskeys and when you try they give you the glass as a gift.

Good sharing on the process of whisky distilling and combined with multi-modal media and artifacts for an immersive experience. Recommend to book in advance. If you have issues bringing back some bottles, go for the mini bottles or sampling sets.

Beautiful experience, the truth is that it is a very good entry and approach to whiskey. I recommend the gold level even though it costs a little more, the truth is that it allows you to try many varieties from different areas of Scotland. The tour is in English and lasts approximately one hour and a little. If you don't know English, they have audio guides in several languages ​​to be able to take and understand the tour. Our guide was Laura, who really made everything super entertaining, and answered all our questions without any problem.

Fantastic tour. Great walk and talk through the process of making single malt and then blended whisky. The tasting was good to as you got to pick one form one of 5 regions or a sixth option, a blend. A nice bonus unknown to us is you even keep the dram at the end!

Took the Taste of Scotland tour in November, which comes with the platinum tasting tour, guided by Heather. The tour itself was nice, with 360 degree projections bringing everything to life. Whisky for tasting was superb, loved the layers of flavours and fragrance in each glass. Getting to see the largest collection of Scotch Whisky was also a delight. Tasting session in the restaurant was great. Food was cooked perfectly, including the best venison I've had to date. Would have tried more Whisky but was a little tipsy by then.

If you want to learn more about whiskey and of course taste it, I recommend this visit. The collection is impressive, Lucifer would be jealous 😁 And the guides are excellent, thanks to the whole team.

There was a young woman at the reception (tall, thin and red-haired, with beautiful hair ornaments) who was so polite, friendly and helpful that I had never seen her before during my entire trip to England and Scotland. She is different. There was a sparkle in her eyes, joy, pleasure in being there working and in serving us in the best way possible. She was so kind that she brightened our day and made a difference not only in our stay there but also in our entire trip. To her: a big kiss and a big Brazilian hug! I hope to see you again soon! Scotland has my heart. 💙

We had such a great time on this whisky tour in Edinburgh! Isabella, our guide, was absolutely brilliant, super entertaining and knowledgeable. She really made the whole experience fun and easy to follow, explaining everything in a way that kept us all engaged and craving for more whisky. The tour was well worth the price. We got to try five different whiskies, each one better than the last, and even got a free whisky glass to take home. The tour also had some cool immersive videos and animations that helped bring the whole whisky-making process to life. If you’re in Edinburgh and looking to dive into the world of whisky, this is definitely the tour to do. Highly recommend!

Super recommended, a beautiful experience

Learn about the production process of Scotch whiskey in various regions. This is a place where you can taste whiskey from each region for yourself. After drinking a glass from each region, I felt the sensation right away.

Visited this the other day and were pleasantly surprised. This is likely the closest thing you'll get to a museum dedicated to Scotch Whisky. The tour is a good overview of the manufacturing process but the visuals used were very immersive! They could easily be used as Scotland Tourism adverts. We visited on one of the two days per year where they have their Distiller's Fair. All tour tiers included admission to the fair, which gave you access to talk to the distilleries about their products and try their wares. The hardest part was only being allowed 4 samples from the 16 vendors who were there. My only criticism is their lack of a non-alcoholic ticket price. It's not the end of the world (since most of the museums in Edinburgh are free) but if your partner doesn't drink, then paying £25+ could be a turnoff.

Great tour that I booked through GetYourGuide. The audio guide in French was very clear, and our guide Angelica was exceptional: smiling, passionate, and really invested in her role. I, who knew nothing about it, learned a lot about whiskey thanks to accessible explanations and magnificent images shown during the visit. The tasting at the end of the course was a real plus, and we even left with a nice glass as a souvenir! The store is very well stocked. I highly recommend!

I learned a lot about Scotch. I was disappointed that I couldn't buy it because it was a carry-on, but they sell some interesting Scotch.

What a great tour, Alex took care of our group he was knowledgeable, nice and had very funny jokes lol, between the graphics and videos they showed to explain the process it definitely made the tour enjoyable and interesting.

Fantastic guided tour with holograms and videos that enchant you and take you on a journey through the world of whisky. Dani, if I remember the girl's name correctly, was very informative and kind. I put one less star because she didn't have an audio translation in Greek for the elderly. Guys, Greece is the center of the world and culture. It is good to have Greek next to the other languages.

The atmosphere of the place was nice and the bartender Sean was very friendly. Nice place to stop by if you’re in Edinburgh.

A must-see place for fans of the movie Super Policemen. It consists of Part 1 (Japanese) where you learn about whiskey on a barrel-shaped vehicle, and Part 2 (English) where you can taste and listen to explanations face-to-face. When he found out I was Japanese, he started talking to me about Japanese whisky. Tasting is also very fun, so I highly recommend it.

Very interesting and recommended experience. The guide was very good and precise in his explanations. They let us taste 5 different whiskies. The room with the collection of never opened whiskey bottles is surprising, jaw-dropping. Dinner was also included in the experience: good, but not great. The raw materials were of high quality, but the dishes lacked a bit of flavour.

Outstanding explanation of scotch whiskey and the differences based on which region of Scotland they come from.

We have visited this absolutely awesome Edinburgh experience four times and done the tour twice. This time it was just straight to the bar to sample a wide range of amazing whiskies. Our "host" Ross was excellent and help me navigate my way round Islay, as you can see in the photo of the list of whiskies. Go for the tour definitely if you have never been before or just visit the bar if you know what you like, either way you will be utterly impressed

Excellent experience for old and newcomers to Scotch Whiskey. The whiskey tasting conducted by Jamie was excellent and we loved her energy and enthusiasm. We learned a lot about the history of the distillation and their origin stories. The whole process is worth the admission and one of the highlights of our stay in Edinburgh. They have large array of scotch whiskey and related products you can purchase in their lovely shop. Overall great experience and a must try.

The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh is such a must! The barrel ride is a great way to learn about whisky-making, and the tasting is very ‘educational’—whether you’re a whisky expert or just curious. The whisky collection is incredible, and the guide made everything so easy to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely loved it. We booked the tour where you went through different rooms, with visual effects and tasting different whiskeys in different rooms. Might be too basic for whiskey experts, but perfect for the experienced and also rookies. Try to get a tour with Adam, he was marvelous. Book in advance!

This is a great tour for anyone, you don't have to love whisky to enjoy the tour, my wife being someone that historically has not liked whisky. We purchase the silver tour which takes you through the experience and you can sample one whisky. The tour is informative and you learn about the simple ingredients that forms whisky and the complexities to distill and produce this wonderful drink. You are then taken to a tasting room where they explain a but more and you get to choose which whisky you want try after they explain the differences. Before trying though you are dramatically taken into the vault where the largest collection of unopened whisky bottles are located which is pretty stunning to see. After that you are taken to the bar where you can opt to try more and enjoy before exiting to the shop. We decided to upgrade to the gold packager here and tried all the whisky that was included on the gold package for a 13 GBP upcharge. I recommend trying this place if your don't plan to do a separate distillery tour while in Scotland.

We booked in for the silver tour which was great. However, the group included a few very rude people which the tour guide (Heather i think was her name) picked up on so she offered us another tasting at the end of the tour. She didn't have to do that for us as we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. She took the time to explain the history behind each whisky which was very interesting.

This was an excellent tour. I took the gold tour and the guide Robyn was completely thorough on her knowledge. The visuals were extraordinary and the vault is something else. It was nice to experience this and I am sure to visit this again the next time I am around in Scotland.

In my opinion, this is a must-see when visiting Edinburgh. Through whisky, we have an original look at Scotland, its history, its territory and what it has to offer. The staging of this tour is stunning, and my guide, Aiden, was a good storyteller. Thanks to this entertaining experience I will appreciate, for sure, my future glasses of whisky! PS: I did the Silver Tour, but if I could do it again, I’d chose the Gold or Platinum Tour in order to live a more complete experience (tasting right away all nuances of Scotch whisky).
