Both my husband and me went there after using a gift virgin experience gift from our children for our wedding anniversary (41years). The overall experience was good but the main meal which was the beef wellington which we were looking forward to so much arrived cold. We had to return it for another and when the second one arrived it was too salty. We didn’t want to make too much of a fuss and just ate it. Very disappointed with the main meal.the fork was bent and I think for the price we had to pay it’s disappointing

We celebrated my birthday at The Savoy Grill, and it was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and guided us to our table. Their professionalism and expertise stood out as they offered excellent recommendations for both meals and wine. The food was simply outstanding—quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough!

A special thank you Thierry, Santosh snd all the staff for always making us feel so much welcome. A special’s mention to the bar staff for the amazing ‘Lorna cocktail’ In my opinion it’s the best restaurant in London for service, food and wine. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Freeman.

We were two couples with reservations at 8.30 PM. Perhaps it was our fault for asking for a better table when we arrived. The table was immediately to the left of the entrance and opposite the table used by the Manager. As it turned out, the wait was long, through no fault of the Manager as it was a busy night. He was polite and tried his best. Eventually when we were seated the restaurant had already started to get less crowded. All four of us ordered the “Tasting Menu “. The Sommelier, Keith, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in selecting two bottles of wine. The wait staff were also excellent. We were, however, disappointed with the food. Our first choice of Oysters was unavailable. I won’t dissect each course but by far the biggest disappointment was with the Beef Wellington. It was served warm at best. By then it was late and there may have been two tables still beside us. The waiter very politely suggested we return the dish for hot replacements. Because of the time we declined. The overall service cannot be faulted but for a Michelin Starred restaurant the food was just not up to the rating.

I went to the savoy grill on Saturday 7th September..me and my daughter had the best experience anyone could ask for. The food was exquisite. I had the beef Wellington ( how could I not ) and my daughter had the sirloin steak...and to make our experience even more better we got to meet the man himself Gordon Ramsay. He was the nicest man even got a picture with us...best time to London and recommend the savoy grill to everyone... The staff also amazing couldn't have been more helpful

We went for dinner while staying in the hotel. The ambiance is very nice. The staff is terrific from the captain to the bus boy. I found the menu somewhat limited. I’m a very basic steak and salad person and it was there. I should have ordered the prime rib which did look delicious. I ordered a very nice Bordeaux with dinner. Desserts were very limited and nothing for a chocolate lover. Something they must change. If you go be prepared to spend money and don’t complain later about the cost.

I was invited to the Grill for dinner. The food was all way too salty. I ate the spiced steak tartare starter out of politeness to my host but I mentioned this quietly to the waiting staff when they cleared the plates. I'm not sure if they didn't pass this back to the kitchen or if the kitchen didn't listen. Anyway, the fish main course came inedibly salty and I sent it back. The replacement was just as bad. The fish also had a texture like it had slight freezer burn. Disappointing, as the menu read so well and I had been looking forward to dining here. The wine was good.

Somehow the restaurant is overrated. We had, among other things, the filet Wellington. It was basically okay. But it didn't knock you off your feet either. And everything tasted like truffles. The ambience is very dark.

I came last night (13th August 2024). It was a dream come true to eat at a Gordon Ramsay fine dining restaurant. I started off with the smoked haddock soufflé it was incredibly light, the flavours between the egg and the fish were well balanced. Absolute perfection. Then the main event, the beef wellington. This dish has evaded me for six years. Well worth the wait. The pomme puree not a single lump, the tenderstem broccoli great flavour. The wellington: talk about melt in your mouth I was nearly crying it was that good. Sticky toffee pudding well you just can't go wrong with that, it was a perfect ending. I was impressed with the ice cream though so smooth and creamy. Beautiful. Definitely come again one day.

Beautiful restaurant, with fantastic food. We opted for the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. The beef Wellington is the star of the show—one of the best I've ever had. The souffle was very delicious, and the lemon cheese was a delightful addition. This is what a tasting menu should be. However, I have to take one star off because it felt too cramped. All the tables are extremely close to each other, making it feel like we were all seated at one large table. I understand that space is limited in central London, but in proper fine dining, you shouldn't feel glued to other tables. This was the only drawback for an otherwise excellent experience.

We left quite disappointed, we had high expectations following on from lots of reviews and somewhere we always wanted to try. I had steak tartare which was ok. It wasn’t bad but I would say it was average. I followed up with the beef wellington which the pastry on the outside was burnt and the inside was undercooked. The beef tasted like boiled meat with zero flavour priced at £65 i was not blown away by it, the presentation of the plate whoever cut it cut it one side bigger than the other so it was lopsided which you could clearly see. The best thing about the entire meal was the seasoned fries. My partner had the fillet steak and he said it was good but not the best steak he ever had or any different than some of the restaurants that we have been too he said that the steak was unseasoned this seemed to be a common problem with all the food lacked flavour. The restaurant itself is stunning but it does feel from the menu to the atmosphere like you are in a time warp and you’ve transported back 10-20years. Couldn’t fault the staff apart from seemed to be lacking communication between floor to bar and we had to ask a few times for drinks and champagne after they had been misplaced or forgotten. I think the Savoy Grill is more about the name and location now more than the food, which is a shame.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. It was exactly that for us, an experience, and one we shall not forget. The staff were all attentive and personable, it was amazing to hear stories of the Savoy grill from Thierry. All the staff made us feel like a priority. The sommelier was so passionate, informative and full of personality, he recommended a Quinta das carvalhas port with our dessert, it was exceptional. For our mains we both had the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection. Our only very slight criticism was the bread was a little bit chewy for us. We will certainly return in the future.

To start out my wife made reservations for us as it was my birthday and I’m a big fan or Gordon Ramsey. She knew that I wanted to try his Beef Wellington which I have made his recipe many times which much success. We were greeted as our server welcomed us to our table and my wife again mentioned about my birthday which our server ackknowledged. We ordered our meals and sat back for a wonderul dinner. Well everything was great until the Beef Wellington came to my seat. The crust on the Wellington was soagy not crispy and the sauce was extremely salty. My Beef Wellington actually tasted better than the restaurants. I did not want to make a fuss as I did not want to dissapoint my wife as she took me here specifically or the wellington. As we were finishing dinner the table next to us had their server briing a birthday card and dessert for their daughter and we thought that was a nice touch, but to our surprise the ony thing I was giving was the bill. My wife was livid and called our server over and mentioned about the other table aand nothing at our table. Our server walked away and in 1 minute dropped a dessert in front of me with no apologies. It was too late for us. As we left my wife called over the maitre d’ and explained her complaint. He basically said he will note it and seemed to not care as to what she was explaining. NEVER will I go back or recomend the Savoy Grill in London. Gordon, it was not up to your standards. On a scale of 1 to 10 we give it a 5. Anthony P.

We had a Virgin Experience voucher that was given to us as a gift - a 3 course lunch for two. The food was delicious and we enjoyed each of the courses, however the service charge added to our bill was very expensive. I appreciate that we received a brilliant service however we did not expect to pay an additional £60 on top of the 3 course meal voucher for two glasses of wine and 1 portion of chips. A £25 service charge is crazy and put a dampener on the overall experience.

Our main course was the cote de boeuf- the meat was so tasty and moist and the flavour stupendous. The fries were so delicious and the spinach creamy. We completed our meal with the tarte tatin which was beautifully crispy and full of succulent flavour. Overall the service and food were of a standard which beggars belief. We visited the Savoy Grill to celebrate our upcoming wedding and were quite disappointed with the experience. While the staff were pleasant enough, there was no acknowledgment of our special occasion, despite mentioning it in our booking and recalled back to me during the confirmation call, we were expecting at least a mention on the night. The atmosphere was subdued, and the seating arrangement—sitting side by side in the middle of the room—felt impersonal and not conducive to a romantic evening. Wearing a dress, I felt uncomfortable and exposed, definitely opt for trousers if you’re sitting in the two seater booths. Although the food was good, we found it overpriced. For example, the £65 beef wellington, which might be an iconic Ramsay recipe, is so overhyped and came with just a solitary mushroom, which didn't justify the high cost. The cocktails were average and pricey compared to other places offering similar drinks for much less. There were numerous staff on duty, yet the service felt very sales-pushing and aggressive at times. We were asked about wine a dozen times throughout the meal, which was off-putting. It was clear they just wanted the menu back. The whole experience was over in just over an hour, for a special occasion we felt rushed, and also by this point we just wanted to leave too. The decor was also bland and lacked personality, failing to live up to the grandeur one might expect from such a renowned establishment. Overall, there wasn't much to enjoy about our visit. If you're considering dining here, perhaps opt for their renowned afternoon tea instead and give the dinner a miss.

We had a booking for our 30th anniversary and lunch bought as a gift and we had a disaster. After the 1st course whilst changing cutlery a waiter dropped a knife on my wife's wine glass half full of red wine which smashed onto the table leaving broken glass and wine everywhere.Luckily none went over any of her new outfit. We were then moved to another table not getting the wine replaced, the remainder of the bottle 1/4 full was taken to the new table with 2 new empty glasses,my glass was also removed again half full of wine. We then had the rest of our food and not asked if we wanted any more wine or another drink, leaving us with only table water. After the meal we both felt upset and very disappointed and we passed this on to one of the managers. She then told us the bill was taken care of and we wouldn't be charged for any additions and wine. This could of been explained to us and not as we were about to leave. We were then offered a complimentary glass of wine , which to be honest wasn't the best compared to the bottle we liked. What was supposed to be a celebration ended up a disappointment.

Honestly I feel terrible leaving this review because I'm a gordon ramsey fan but my experience here was horrible. I came here around new years with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. We selected this restaurant over some of the other gordon ramsey restaurants and I think we made a mistake, so maybe this review will help someone else. If you are looking to drink very expensive (overpriced) wine this is the place for you. If you are looking for good food, this is not the place. We came for the food and were devastatingly disappointed. First, we ordered a bottle of wine, nothing fancy, I think it was like $50, after we ordered a $50 bottle of wine it was almost like they really weren't interested in serving us anymore. We arent wine connoisseurs, we're foodies, we came to a gordon ramsey restaurant for the food. We ordered steak tartar which was excellent but that was where it ended. After we finished our appetizer we still had not received our wine and had to ask about it before they finally came with it at the same time they brought out our food. My husband got the beef wellington which was only saved by the au jus, I got the ribeye, medium rare, it was flavorless, I literally had to use my husband's au jus just to be able to eat it. One of my daughters got the lobster she said it tasted like lobster with butter so I guess what you would expect, the other got the Gnocchi which is where the story goes way down hill. It was disgusting. She literally gagged because she took a bite and I made her swallow it, she said it tasted like fish. Everyone else at the table tried it and it was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever been served at a restaurant. It tasted like they made it with bad potatoes, like rotten ones. For a meal that we spent over $500 on I would expect it to at least be Edible. I hope to visit a different one of gordon ramseys restaurants next time I'm in London, because I dont think he would actually send that garbage out of his kitchen.

Excellent evening at the savoy grill chefs table experience. We had a private room overlooking the kitchen. Every course was delicious, the staff went above and beyond, and the sommeliers were great. Would highly recommend getting a group of 6 and booking this for a special occasion it was incredible!

Incredible experience. My husband and I had a late lunch there prior to going to the theatre, the food, service and ambiance was exceptional. The staff from the entrance through to the restaurant could not have been more attentive, they made our day so special. Would highly recommend the Savoy Grill and we will definitely treat ourselves to another visit.

This was a ridiculous feast. Food has no business being that good. 😆 every little touch was noticed and made it wonderful. Even the butter was like smoked(?) SOO GOOD. 👍🏼

Unfortunately my visit was not the best. The red coated waiter gave us wine list, took away the wine list, came back with it and never took our order, even though I was clear we hadn’t ordered our wine for the main course. So then we waited for someone to take our order , no one came so we asked to order our wine to get it in time for the steaks. That waiter then asked “oh didn’t my colleague take your order?”… very confusing set-up of three levels of waiters. The red coated waiter was quite rude. I ordered the rib eye steak in medium rare, it came out medium. Even though the service personnel offered to take it out and get a new one, he said he would take both my fathers (which was perfectly cooked) steak and mine which would have ruined it for my father, because it became a hassle, so I declined the offer. However with a steak for 65£ i expect excellent service and excellent cooked food. The taste was good but in general the experience was under average. Luckily the sweet waitress who picked the dishes had a great service mind, maybe she can be the main waiter for future. Really sad that the experience was under average, luckily my dad was satisfied since in the end it was his birthday dinner that I treated him with. Something to note is that they charge 7,50£ for sparkling water. Cover charge 2£ per person And then mandatory gratitude charge on 15% Total:263£

We were a bit late trying to commute from Tottenham Stadium after Arsenal’s glorious win in the North London derby, but it was all good. The food was amazing, as was the service. Nothing to comment about. But the most unexpected enjoyment came from a dessert- apple tart tatin with caramel sauce. It was heavenly good! I would come back just for that, while I am not a big dessert fan.

As something of regulars now at the Savoy, we keep coming back to what can only be described as opulence personified! Every detail is exquisite and the food…… OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! we even had a special guest during our last visit.

An incredible dining experience awaits you at the Savoy Grill. The five star food and perfect attention to service takes this restaurant to another level. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. The pastry was crisp and the meat was oh so tender. The jus complimented it perfectly. The chicken was moist and had a beautiful season on its crust. The baby vegetable consume and rice pilaf paired well with it. Dare I say my favorite was the BBQ cabbage. It was charred expertly and the preserved lemon took it up a notch. The sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was a nice way to end the meal. It was warm and delectable perfect for the cold night. The wine selection is huge just about a wine from every country can be found. Savoy Grill made our special night that much more special, the perfect place for a special occasion. I definite destination for any foodie. Dos wine glasses up 🍷🍷

Food and atmosphere are really good What was disappointing was that there was an employee named Joy who was in charge of serving our table. I don't know what she was dissatisfied with, but even when pouring water for us, she kept pouring it loudly into a glass cup, and even when she was collecting the bill, she held out her hand, but she intentionally put it down on the table and walked away without even looking at her.. It was the first time. When I was sitting at the table, they removed the table for me to make it easier to sit, but after paying, they didn't even remove the table and just walked away. As the other tables finished eating and left, they made small talk and said hello, but as we were passing by on the way out, we bumped into each other and ended up saying goodbye. Personally, I felt very bad. It's a 1 Michelin star restaurant and the food and atmosphere are really good, but I feel very uncomfortable with this trivial service.

decor is (some call it) classic elegance or (some calls it) boring and dated. service is expected and above average at a high end restaurant at an elegant hotel. the beef Wellington is why we came here for. it is will executed, the truffle paste is excellent, and the pastry is just the right amount and cooked through with a slight crisp. the beef is good quality, it's not dry, but it's not very flavorful. the sauce helps. all-in-all very happy with the food execution.

This was a second visit to the Savoy Grill in less than 3 months . Both times we had the Sundsy lunch and both times the meat quality was unacceptable as on both occasions there was a lot of gristle in all the meals. I would expect this quality in a lower graded establishment but not in this iconic restaurant owned by a world renowned chef. The service recieved was impeccable, but either this be the norm or we have just been unlucky on the food front. Dint think we will visit for a third time

For the price you'd expect a dining experience where the food would leave a positive impression. Instead I would say I left with the impression that Gordon Ramsay is just a common huckster. There is a reason this restaurant doesnt have michelin stars anymore. The espresso martini was good but after that there was really no positive on the meal. The souffle was unevenly salted, as if, the front half of the dish got salt and the back half didnt and its not the fish that im talking about in terms of salt levels as the waiter wanted to convince me in. The Beef Wellington was actually disappointing, I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife which isnt supposed to happen. Surprisingly the beef wellington from Boca in Cincinnati, OH is actually done better and also a few restaurants in Boston. Wouldnt be surpised if pubs in London do it much better and for a lower price. To put it lightly, Gordon Ramsay's Beef Wellington is overhyped and lacks taste, by far the most bland piece of meat I've eaten in London (no wonder everyone jokes about the british not having any spices in their food). The water is indeed 7.5 pounds which is ridiculous because tap would be fine but wasnt offered. Dessert was interesting but was way too sweet for my liking. I think the wrong choice was made to use white chocolate rather than dark chocolate on the shell of fruity cheese cake inside. Service was good, not sure why there were complaints. I will say, it is indeed chaos in the dining area, the wait staff seem to come to the tables way too often to top off water for people, never letting it get below 75% of the cup volume. They move with brisk pace across to tables and in general it wasnt a calm dining area. Part of fine dining is the attentiveness the staff gives you, but when it becomes too overbearing its a problem in my opinion and in this case it started to cross the line.

Food was excellent, no complains, the steak we both ordered were perfectly grilled and everything was on point. Maybe it is the fine dining concept, but I feel the atmosphere is a bit subdue and the staff didn't give me an overall "friendly" vibe. That could be just me. Despite so, I must say I am pleasantly surprised when asked for a cup of warm water, they freshly boiled a pot of it and had it served to our table. It is a nice gesture.

I really don’t know where to start! I thought I had walked back in time to the 70’s. I couldn’t get over sitting in a velvet sofa with a table pushed up to us, and our view was other diners behind tables, it was like being at a Concert, facing a stage of other diners. The food was passable but not perfect. Needs updating drastically, I struggled to find a meal of this century! I love Lobster Thermidor, but mines better….more tender….more tasty. Starter was good, frothy soufflé’ very strong of cheese, but well cooked. I just didn’t get the inflated prices at a less than inflated menu and setting. Staff were amazing, food was under par, seating is quite ridiculous for privacy. MAKEOVER desperate, update menu and I may return for £200 per person on our visit.

Sham, our waitress, was great! No complaints. She knows how to deal with clients, she took care of me and my friends. She was well prepared about the food and the ingredients. She is great in customer service, she needs a promotion and a pay rise. For real, Very well done!!! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The atmosphere: … well, the music was way too loud and I had to shout to talk to my friends sitting in front of me. The food: tapas were delicious, and they came quite on time after we order them. As soon as we received the tapas, at 8pm, we ordered the steaks straightaway. I order medium cooked sirloin with salad. It came at 9.38pm, it was well done, I ate it because I was famished. 1h38 minutes to deliver the order is way too long, so we complained to the manager who sorted everything out and we got discount. The cocktails were way too strong, I couldn’t finish mine. I could taste only the alcohol. Very bad. Not impressed with the meat at all, but considering is a steakhouse, well… it’s bad.

There is so much to choose from inside the Westfield Shopping Centre, but I was so glad I chose to eat at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen. I was seated immediately by Asta, who advised me on the ordering options. She took my order and within 10 minutes, the order arrived, piping hot. The Smashed Classic 2 Patties was delicious, as was the Martini cocktail. I will definitely be returning on my next London visit.

Celebrated my daughters 18th with family and friends. The venue was perfect (decorated fabulously by @360legends), with a professional team and first class service. From booking the venue, to answering queries, to service on the evening I can not fault Dave or his team. The security, the bar staff and Dave himself were attentive and professional. Great food (we had the BBQ), great drinks, and a brilliant playlist (although that was my daughters doing!). We will definitely be back.
