Bar & Co in City of London, Westminster

Celebrated my daughters 18th with family and friends. The venue was perfect (decorated fabulously by @360legends), with a professional team and first class service. From booking the venue, to answering queries, to service on the evening I can not fault Dave or his team. The security, the bar staff and Dave himself were attentive and professional. Great food (we had the BBQ), great drinks, and a brilliant playlist (although that was my daughters doing!). We will definitely be back.

My friend and I organised a private party at bar and co for c60 people. The bar had been newly refurbished and was in great condition and it’s such a great location down on the river. Over and above this, the real standout is the staff, we had a number of different requests (including decorations and live music) which they handled quickly and efficiently. Not only this but they were really friendly and helpful throughout the entire event. Would certainly work with them again and highly recommend.

A lovely sunny June Sunday. Looked ideal for a couple of drinks in the afternoon. We walked onto the boat and sat on the upstairs deck. It would have been nice the get a welcome as we arrived on board instead of the look of total disinterest that we received. I guess that's too much to expect nowadays in this era of clueless service. The young guy behind the bar acted like he was stoned. After I paid for drinks he said he would bring the drinks over to our table. 10 minutes later I went back to remind him - he admitted he had forgotten. The same thing happened with another couple just after. It really wasn't that busy that he could have kept forgetting to serve drinks after taking our money. Meanwhile, the sound system playing music had this awful vibrating sound that feels like you're at the dentist getting your teeth drilled. After a couple of drinks we left without receiving even the slightest acknowledgement from the two bar staff, never mind a thanks, come again. Really disappointing given the nice river location; should have been so much nicer. Beer lovers beware; the choice at the bar is limited to 2 bottled bears.

I found Bar&Co a very delightful place: this includes the atmosphere from the staff and the variety of food, it really did take me back to Spain again. I fully recommend this experience to future clients .

I hired the full boat for my 21st birthday recently and had an amazing night! It was the perfect location, so easy for all my friends to get to and everyone loved seeing the London views the whole night. The bar staff were all super friendly and accommodating, especially bar manager Johnny! Xavier was also very helpful with our booking and answered any queries I had. Will definitely be back with my friends again as drinks weren't too badly priced and had a large variety.

We hired the upper deck at Bar & Co for our summer party of around 50 guests. Bar & Co is located right on the Thames and is a perfect place to watch the sun go down ove r London. Xavier was very helpful with our booking and very fair in honouring a bar tab set up in 2019 before Covid. Staff on board were friendly and efficient and all our guests had great time. We will definitely be back soon

This place is great. Always nice atmosphere and good music. Sports also on TV. I ate a tasty Burrito and drank a cold Corona, and another, and another, and another...

went there for a summer party - meant to be a bbq that consisted of a few unexciting and cheap options and sad attempt at salads. beer choice on deck was pretty grim too nice location but a pity there was not more imagination and value for money

I hosted my birthday here with at least 60 guests, and could not have asked for a better night. Xavier responded to my emails promptly and ensured that the night took place smoothly. Good music, affordable drinks, lovely atmosphere. Every single person had an amazing night. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We stumbled across the Bar & Co (a bar on a permanently moored pier at Temple Pier), there is not many bars along this side of the Thames, so this was a welcome find. The staff were very welcoming, the drinks were good and prices reasonable (especially for central London!). Definitely worth a visit if your walking along the Thames.

I recently hosted my 40th birthday at Bar & Co and it couldn't have gone better. We paid for private hire which meant we had the entire place to ourselves between 9pm and 3am. From our initial enquiry to the night itself the staff were super - particularly Johnny & Xavier who answered many questions and even met with me and my partner before we booked. Central for all our guests and a unique venue - I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to host a special occasion.

After watching the England/Sweden game we decided to wander down to the river to cool off a bit! Walking along the Victoria Embankment we spotted a bar on a boat! So we wandered down and got ourselves a cool beer and sat and watched the world go by on the Thames. If it hadn’t been for the fact that there was an event starting about 20 minutes after we arrived, we may have had a little snack there too. The food we saw come out looked really tasty. A nice way to while away some time with a cold drink and lots to look at at the same time. The deck had a shady area and the bow end had plenty of seating. Below decks there was another room/bar. I imagine you could have a great party on there!

Spanish venue in temple pier. I like the place, specially in sunny days. Friendly staff, tapas menu, Estrella Damm beer and nice atmosphere. It’s a good place to watch football matches as well.

Just had few drinks here and loved just sitting in sun. Barman was very friendly and helpful. Lovely afternoon.

Really nice bar on the thames with premier views. Staff are excellent. I had my birthday here and had a great time. Drinks are on the expensive side - £25 for house white & £33 for Prosecco.

Nos quedamos aquí una noche soleada para una botella de vino. Fue agradable y diferente, no demasiado ruidoso, fresca y ligera (no del bosque como porque estamos en Londres). Tienes que ir y pedir y pagar abajo. Que fue rápido.

Buen Bar para ver el Barça, poca cosa mas, si eres propenso a los mareos olvidate de ir, pero sino vas a disfrutar mucho con el paisaje ya que estas en el rio y de noche es precioso! Precios bastante caros, una cerveza estrella a 4 pounds! cambreors muy amables

After a walk along the Thames we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the water sipping a drink. They also have a nice selection of Tapas. A lovely spot on a sunny day. You really get the holiday feeling.

Il punto forte di questo locale creato su una barca è sicuramente la posizione, in quanto è ormeggiata su una delle più belle passeggiate sulla riva del Tamigi, dala quale si può godere della vista della ruota panoramica e del Parlamento del Big Ben. Qui abbiamo consumato un pranzo veloce a base di tapas, in quanto il menù è di impronta spagnola: in particolare composto da gamberi all'aglio, crocchette al jamon spagnolo con due calici di vino spagnolo. Una sosta molto piacevole per il clima, visto che a novembre eravamo in maglietta e baciati dal sole, circondati da tifosi di rugby mascherati per la notte di Halloween che guardavano la finale sul maxischermo,

Yo sólo fui para las bebidas ya que estoy ansioso de probar bares barco por el Río Támesis, y este era perfectamente agradable. Por desgracia no era un clima fantástico día, y estás muy expuesta al viento en la cubierta superior, pero en un día soleado en calma me imagino que sería muy agradable. Como era, era un buen lugar para pasar unas horas en el aire fresco, viendo el mundo pasar, incluyendo una barcaza barcaza y recorrer la carrera el motor de Queen's.

God only knows if this guy was the manager but he was enough for us not to want to stick around give him out money- some people should work with the public

Estaba visitando el yate para la cena y nos detuvimos aquí para bebidas antes. Era precioso sentado en la terraza viendo todo subiendo y bajando el río Támesis mientras tomábamos unas copas. Muy agradable y muy popular. Sin duda volvería quizás comer allí también como la comida que salieron mientras no parecía increíble

Since moving to London, I have been to this place quite a lot for drinks, food and parties. The food now is really good and fresh with a BBQ in the sunny weather and the upstairs deck is nice to sit with a drink in the sun. The parties I've been to are great too and try and get to the last Friday of the month Spanish party when I can. I would say the only thing for a busy party night is to get there early as it does tend to fill up. Great little place in the centre of London, and feels unique being on a boat bar.

Manager Peter and other members of staff were exceptionally accommodating and I appreciate that very much. My husband was so happy with everything for his surprise birthday party and could not have been done without bar and co staff and there help on the night. Thank you once again Naomi

Como dice su nombre el bar es un barco atacado cerca de embankment. Lo que significa que lo que te tomes te sube a un ritmo más acelerado debido al movimiento del río y del barco..En generan, Al barco se viene principalmente: A disfrutar de un partido del Barça rodeado de la peña del Barça en londres, con unas cañas a ritmo del río, o a la fiesta española que hacen cada dos viernes con música española tipo estopa y canto del loco y que suele estar hasta arriba, mejor comprar entradas antes del día.

Had time to spare before dinner on the Yatch (see separate review) so had quick drink on the Wifred at Bar & Co - lovely helpful barman, good welcome and great sunny atmosphere on the Thames - many thanx!

I booked a work night out here via Design my Night. There were constant emails back and forth nd when I had a question that they couldn't answer they emailed the manager of Bar &Eco for me who replied very quickly. I was initially very pleased with the service.I was sent a confirmation email to say that everything was in order and to enjoy my night.When we turned up we were told that the booking had been cancelled and our table given away (to what looked like some fat cat London business men who probably had a much larger budget than us). We were told that they never received a deposit from us, not once was a deposit mentioned or requested in all the emails between us. I tried calling numerous times to speak to the manager for an explanation and couldn't get through, I just keep getting their voicemail. We were left stranded on the side of the road with money burning in our pockets. We eventually found somewhere nicer to go and had a good night but it began as a bit of a shambles no thanks to this establishment and their rude staff.

Im only giving this place a 2 stars rate because: 1.At least we got a decent view of the New Year's firework show 2. The service was really nice.OK. With that being said:I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE booking the New Year's Eve party at this place. They advertise themselves as a SPANISH BOAT. Selling SPANISH TAPAS in a SPANISH environment. (Spanish meaning from Spain, not hispanic or latino for those who might think is the same) Well, being a spanish myself I booked this for NYE along with another spanish friend. Bar&Co. Made it seem like you were gonna spend a great Noche Española along the river, with complementary drinks an a fabulous tapas menu for NYE. Well, for £50 wee booked it! We wanted a nice view of the fireworks along with a nice evening in the Thames. Our disappointment started when we realized the boat is anchored to the pier. IT DOESNT sails across the river. Then, we realized that along with the entrance and bartender, we were the only "spanish" in the boat. The famous NYE menu was a tasteless "tapas" plate for £15! That plate was NOTHING near spanish nor tapas. And for £15 it felt like a theft. And it was THE ONLY thing on the menu that night.Then the music... I felt like I was at a disco party back in school. 90s hits as Tubthumping, Informer, Ice Ice Baby, It wasn't me... weren't part of the NYE party I had in mind. Downstairs there were almost no place for everybody to seat comfortably, so as the boat started to crowd (probably with people looking for an Spanish evening and as disappointed as we were) it got really uncomfortable. You could try to go upstairs to catch a break, but it was raining and being on the pier didnt helped. So, we spent out nigh going i and out the boat to the pier waiting for the midnight countdown. There were NO alerts on the boat it was like each and one of us paid £50 for being on our own, freezing our ..sses (we might had been better off freezing at the bridge for free) So when midnight was approaching we went upstair and watched the beautiful firework show.. and then we left. HUGE, HUGE let down. Skip this place if you can. At least for NYE Thames parties. Book someplace else and make sure they have a nice view of the London Eye and Big Ben. For us, the bridge nearby was obstructing 1/4 of the view.

Decided to pop in on one of my walks on a sunny day along the embankment. The deserted deck should have given me the clue. Went down below to the bar to get a beer. Grossly overpriced, tourist-trap price. After downing a tiny bottle of Carlsberg (didnt know Carlsberg sold beers in those tiny bottles?) walked further down (towards Parliament) to the Tattershall Castle boat, near Embankment Station. Lively, better riverside views (H of P, South Bank! London Eye, ...... and normal prices!!! And beers on the tap too!

went on a groupon vowcher. first of all you have to dine downstairs,so on a lovely sunny day down we went and it is so dark you can barely read the menu. but worst of all is the smell,it smells like drains,and my husband being a plumber confirmed it was the toilet masserators that needed updating,so you can imagine what it smelt like. and when you go to the toilets,well"" .the sooner you get out the better,before you pass out. would never ever go back.
