Not my sort of place. No selection of cask ales. Took a while to get (noticed) served. Not on my list of city drinking establishments. There are better places.

Después de haber venido de Brick Lane, donde los propietarios del restaurante son sólo demasiado entusiasta para su encargo este lugar es exactamente lo contrario. Tener sentó tarda una eternidad para cualquiera que tome mi pedido. La razón pronto quedó claro. Yo estaba en su camino. Éstos se estaban preparando para un evento corporativo y después de una hora me preguntó, bastante grosera, para salir. Le dije a la camarera que me había organizado para encontrarse con un amigo, pero no me tenía que ir. Esta fue una función privada. Fuimos al bar cruzando la calle y una hora más tarde y aun no habíamos llegado a C&W! Si sólo quieres organizar fiestas privadas y eventos corporativos deberían aclararlo. Lástima ya que esta está en una buena ubicación y atención a los clientes comunes de algunos no debe ser demasiado pedir.

Me senté. Dijo que cambiarme a otro sitio porque reservamos para una función. Pero podría haber suficiente puede acceder a o utilizar signos reservados. Sábado donde nos dijeron que por 10 minutos. La primera persona que llegó dijo esta mesa no podía ser utilizada. Tarea sencilla de informar a la gente antes de que sentarse que hay una función en su medida y no es necesario. Cordon! ! !

He visitado este bar mientras disfruta de Wimbledon en la gran pantalla en Exchange Square la semana pasada. La ubicación es fabulosa y el lugar tiene mucho potencial. Tuvimos que hacer cola hasta para pedir un agradable relajado en el clima caliente de Pimms. La señora que trabajaba detrás del mostrador no fue muy amable en todo, no disculpa por la larga espera o incluso una sonrisa a gran nosotros. Fue grosera cuando preguntamos a dividir el pago en dos tarjetas y era conocida: la máquina por expresando sus molestia. No volvería aquí a comprar otra bebida, es un lugar fantástico y muy fácil, pero sin duda con los otros bares por la zona de encima de este. No tome mucho ser amable con sus clientes para que les haga sentir bienvenidos, que estoy pagando por el servicio y las bebidas que no reciben buen servicio suficiente.

Food not good. It was lukewarm and didn't taste nice. I won't be returning.

Giuseppina is my fav waitress. Always helpful and makes me and my friends feel welcome. Now serving nibbles along with drinks too!

Can't tell you how much I love this place. The thing that it is my favourite waitress Giuseppina who always looks after me. Great knowledge of wine and whisky

Went for breakfast. Muffins were stale and food cold. It's currently closed anyway now and being replaced by a Happenstance. Hopefully that will be better!

An inexpensive option in an upscale part of London. Good for a few drinks and a bit of food under the looming presence of st Paul's

Centrally located, this bar can get very busy in workday evenings. Decent selection of beers and wines however not cheap

I met there for a business breakfast. Thought we had booked there wasn't a table reserves for us but we could sit anywhere. After ordering our coffees we had to ask for the breakfast menu, it wasn't very obvious they were even serving breakfast! The breakfast was ok, I had a sausage sandwich and my guest had eggs bennedict

It is one of the places I always go ... service is always nice ... Anetta and David always makes you feel welcome . Food was good too , but definitely the best in that place is the service . Highly recommend , will be back soon .

Nice place but food not so great

Vibrant City bar frequented by City workers in the square. Great for corporate events and post work drinks. Table service and generous booking offerings. One of my favourite bars around the St. Paul's area.

Usual C&B in a great location right next to St Paul's Cathedral. Nice area.

I chose corney and barrow coz of my past city life... history. But the place has grown up. Great wines.... great chat .... and really lovely people and service... thank you. We will be back for that great Malbec.... 👌 thank you

Fuimos a C&B la semana pasada y porque ha sido una gran experiencia fuimos esta semana de nuevo para tomar algo después de trabajar.Este es un gran lugar para socializar, tener algunas bebidas después del trabajo y relajarse. Te da un gran ambiente, así como el personal es fantástico.Mis colegas y yo disfrute cada vez y decidió hacer este lugar a nuestro trabajo semanal después de ubicación bebida.

Enjoyed a BBQ at this bar a few weeks ago and I have to say the food/drinks/service was amazing! Absolute bonus that we could enjoy our drinks outside on the terrace which had heaters for the chilly evening. Also loved the table service which meant we didn't have to move much from our seats and venture to the bar. Will definitely be visiting again and recommend if you fancy a buzzy bar with excellent/quick service. A+++

Io ed i miei amici abbiamo avuto un'esperienza fantastica al "Corney & Barrow".Grazie alla gentilezza, professionalità e la simpatia del barman Diego, ci siamo divertiti molto, abbiamo gustato dell'ottima birra in un'atmosfera meravigliosa.Tornerò molto presto in questo pub.I had a lot of fun in this pub thanks to the barman Diego.Marvellous place, very very good beer. Nice city bar near St Pauls. Busy on Thursdays and fridays for afterwork drinks.

Typical C&B but much quieter than other meeting spots in the sq.

I went there with some colleagues for lunch, £12 for a burger!! No chips or sides included or available to order on the side. The brioche bun was cold and the burger was underwhelming especially for the price.

Nice spot with good music to enjoy a drink and some nibbles.

Great place for a Friday night out, good wine and good food. Live Djs made it for us. Great night out.

Great place to hangout after work

Very upmarket bar. Expensive drinks, excellent wine list. Mostly suited for a business meeting where you are really trying to impress

food a bit suspect. fish and chips looked ok but i made the mistake of the keralan chicken curry. I've been to kerala and it didnt taste remotely like a southern indian curry. think chef just stuck the name on to make it sound fancy and not bog standard (and it would be wide of the mark to even call it that).

We turned up here to have lunch, but really this is a bar which thrives because it is on a cool City square. I can imagine it is a great place to hang out after work, but it basically serves no food other than a couple of sandwiches, and is not a place to sit and meet. We moved off.

She has a great team working there who helped to make it a memorable evening - nothing was too much trouble & the guests were all well looked after.Thanks again !I highly recommend the burgers for the BBQ - washed down witha bottle of Peru's finest larger Cusqueña !

Just wanted to say. Food really nice. Place small but neat & modern. I would also like to say & this is the main reason for my review was that the staff were really friendly & chatty & nothing was too much trouble. We had travelled a long way, so thank you for making us feel welcome.

I attended a Corporate Event held here - fabulous atmosphere, outdoors tables with a wonderful BBQ area - well catered for vegetarians too (mushroom 'burgers' to die for and loved the halloumi skewers!). Superb views into Liverpool Street station - lovely to watch the hustle and bustle when sat with a cool glass of wine. Huge outdoor screen showing Wimbledon added to the fun

Took forever to receive the food - as a bar it is a great, but food side is just too lengthy to make it worth risking for a business lunch unless you have the whole afternoon to wait!

This relaxed bar has ample seating and located in the historical Paternoster Square. Service was good with a short wait time at the bar. A great bar to catch up as it is quite intimate and also has a corporate feel which fits with the location.

Stopped here for a lunchtime drink. The staff were very informative and knowledgable about the wines, friendly too. Sat outside in the main square until the rain came then moved into the comfy undercover seats overlooking liverpool strre station (not a great view but the shelter was most welcome).

Ordered pulled pork sandwiches and was told there was none left. Ordered two portions of sweet potato wedges and they only had one. My response to this was do you actually haeve any food left? Reply - We are really busy the sun is out - well then don&#039;t take reservations.<br /><br />Food was average - sweet potato wedges were a disappointment and service was awful. Waitress did not know what was cooked medium and well done - slightly worrying! Complained about wedges and more shrug of shoulders.<br /><br />First time I have ever asked for service charge to be removed as services was so bad and food average

Contemporary place, where you can drink your favourite drinks and spend your free hours. I like the lighting there, the brown comfortable chairs and also the private dining areas.

Lovely location and good food, reasonably priced, unfortunately staff were confused, slow and seemed untrained. Management too busy to provide support.

Nice place to have a drink but for lunch, they have a limited selection of snacks and baguettes. Unfortunately for us when we arrived they seemed to have run out of about half the items on the menu. Good for drinks and nibbles though.

I would not recommend eating in this bar. Food took 45 minutes to come.<br />Drinks would be perfect but will not eat here again.

This Bar is a bit stylish and the gift shop sells stuffs that are classy and surprised when it is open. Inside the Corney & Barrow is the classy chairs and tables,and this restaurant serves modern French food.

Love love loooooved the environment. Perfect date restaurant. Idk how to explain this without sounding like an idiot, but I felt like the restaurant was both cozy yet spacious at the same time. Highly recommended!

Like a precious escape from the boring routine, if you go there for a tasty drink or two- you won't regret! The prices are good. The atmosphere too.

Unfortunately you can now only eat under the parasols, which means you&#039;re in the shade. And you can only orfer food from a waiter/waitress, not at the bar, which means it&#039;s a little more difficult to have a speedy lunch as you often ened to get someone&#039;s attention if you want anything after ou&#039;ve placed your lunch order, like order more drinks, or ask for the bill. But the food is good, and not a bad selection given the size of the bar.

I had lunch here a couple of weeks back and service had been very slow . But as it is such a good outdoor venue I went back.<br />Pleased to say service was a lot better and I will go back.

Corney & Barrow has a best place and nice to have a good vibes every night. I really to go in here and I must say that i very quite awesome. Food,services,price they are all excellent. Must recommended!

Good position Service friendly but woefully ineffectual They had 6 staff but it took nearly 2 hours to be served two round of drinks and one main course.

Several weeks ago I went there with my crush. The atmosphere was nice and romantic. The service was professional. Having a dinner there was a luxurious thing for u, but it was worthy. I recommend you to go there and have some nice time.

The service was ok and we got served in good time, however no one checked on us during/ after food was delivered. The waitress spilt a drink over one of our party. The food was terrible and tastless for everyone. Bland burgers/ sandwiches and tuna salad with little filling and a token few salad leaves on the side. At £8 it was expensive for what you got. I had to have another lunch aferwards as I was still hungry! The waitress could not figure out the bill at the end when someone gave her cash and all the rest was on a card and we had to work it out for her! I would definetly not go back there for food. It&#039;s a nice place to drink and that is all.

I like the atmosphere there. It is stylish, but also cosy at the same time. The chairs are very comfortable, I like the red ones a lot. You can have a pop card and it is quite a cool thing. May be we can go there with the charming boy that I've met recently.

I think this is one of the best places I've been lately. Atmosphere was great, cocktails were prepared so attractively and delicious! I had 3, because they were so good! Service was nice and friendly! I can't wait until my next opportunity to go again!

The place is great and well-decorated, but the service is very poor. I went there twice and I don't know if there is going to be a third one, if they don't change their staff. Everything else is quite nice.
