On a whole the food was ok , quick , warm and reasonably priced. However we will not be returning for the attitude of the staff. The manner and tone of how the female staff talked about and to the delivery driver is disgusting. Shouting at him In front of customers for absolutely no reason and answering his polite questions with pure arrogance. In any workplace , if the roles were reversed, these people would be sacked for such verbal abuse. Driver needs a raise !

I've walked past The Sandwich Bar for years now, and never given it a try because it didn't look very inviting. I gave it a try a couple of weeks ago as Lockdown loomed, and was delighted! It is still open during Lockdown if you want to call in and pick something up to take away, which I do every week now. There is a huge variety of options, all with fresh ingredients and freshly cooked. Our favourite at the moment is the Sicilian Wrap. Their home made cakes are far too tempting, and great value for money. The girls working in here are making a real effort, and are producing superb food - they deserve to do well. Give them a try - I'm confident you will be as delighted as I was.

We arrived in Northallerton completely forgetting it was market day. A general enjoyment of ours, we browsed the market and started to get peckish. We like to try high street small business over other competitors so we tried The Sandwich Bar.... We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Steak & Cheese wrap and the Cypriot wrap. Our wraps were fabulous, being prepared to order. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and maintained COVID-19 regulations extremely well. We will be back next time we are in town!

Tried The Sandwich Bar for the first time, but sadly was left disappointed. The shop looks quite inviting, and the menu is certainly tempting. However, service was functional at best, borderline miserable. (a smile would work wonders!) The baguette was minuscule, certainly overpriced for what it was, making a return visit very unlikely.

Called in today for a sandwich, thought i would support a local business rather than going for another high street chain. The food itself was nice and the young lady who made my food was helpful but the tall scottish sounding man was extremely rude. Reminding us of the 2 customers at a time when we accidentally walked in.

Well what can I say? This establishment is by far the best I have been to for a bacon sandwich and coffee. The bacon was good quality and well cooked and the bun was of good quality also. The coffee hot and drinkable. All in all I will return.

Place is very clean and tidy lots to choose from, ordered a ham and cheese baguette with salad. Was disappointed at only receiving half a baguette with a very small fatty slice of ham? By the time I had removed fat I was mainly left with salad for £3.. I always try and shop local but sometimes you can get better value at places like fatso,s..

Really enjoyed my visits - have been there a few times now. The food is good and I have enjoyed speciality sandwiches as well as the soup and sandwich combo. All were excellent - and the soups are homemade. Quick friendly service and not horrendously expensive in today's climate - reasonable in my view.

I took my children in for some lunch, not wanting to grab them some cheese straws from the bakers. I was so surprised by how great the menu was! So much to choose from! Both my kids opted for a toastie and I chose a pulled pork panini. The service was brilliant even though it was rather busy! Everything looks so fresh, unlike some places I have been! It all went down a treat. I will most definitely be going back for lunch. 😋

Callled in for a steak and cheese and onion Pannini, paid £3:50 for the smallest Pannini I have ever had. The Pannini's they use are the ones you buy from Morrisons or Tesco's at 4 for a pound. The Pannini itself was over cooked with the outside being so dry it was tasteless and crumbled into dust. I could not reccomend this place and would never return in my opinion a wide birth is needed.

Finally managed to get back here and have lunch after I stopped for a coffee a few months ago. There’s a nice varied menu of regular sandwiches, salads and quite a few different house specials. I opted for a sweet jacket potato with tuna and salad. The jacket potato was lovely and the homemade coleslaw which accompanied the side salad was really tasty and a nice touch as an extra. I thoroughly enjoyed it and took one of their menus to have a look so I can plan my next visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Cypriot Sandwich with olives salad and haloumi cheese. As I closed my eyes eating this sandwich I felt I was actually in Cyprus. The staff are very polite and friendly making it feel like home from home. There was a really nice Scottish guy full of enthusiasm and energy can just tell he absolutely loves his job. i highly recommend this place. In the words of Arnold scwart-Cha-Niger...."I'll be back"

Amazing food, didn’t have a booking and just popped in on the off chance. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The food was well presented, piping hot and didn’t disappoint. Would definitely come back here when I’m in Stokesley.

Thought we would give the local Dough & Deli a try, as had good reviews on social media. We ordered two Pizzas for collection that evening, total cost £17.20 which I felt reasonable. We collected at the allotted time and brought them home. We had a Meat Feast and a Sausage and Sweet Chilli toppings. Both tasted delicious, my only negative comment is that both should have been cooked a little longer. Both bases were, we felt undercooked, very doughy and chewy would have benefited from a little longer in the over to crisp and colour them up. Would we order again most certainly and probably just ask if the bases could be given a little longer in the oven.
