my food was late when it said it was here but wasn't the delivery driver didn't even apologise and my chips were hard .

Fish was clearly cooked from frozen without being defrosted as it was still transparent when about to eat it, pie cold and chips warm. Avoid!

Batter was so soggy it was like fish dunked in pancake batter

Late on Just Eat by 1 hour not good enough

placed order at 17.06 for delivery asap didn't arrive until 18.50,not very warm either

They made my chips so hot and I hated it

Portions are a good size, but it is so slow to get your food here. Lots of employees moving around but expect to be waiting at least 15-20 minutes even for a simple order when it's not busy.

Absolute rubbish fish wasn’t battered it was soggy thin and cold when it arrived i complained and got £7 back from a £23 order will not be going back I’d rather drive 2 hours than eat that again

Chips were undercooked and bland

The haddock was beautifully cooked the only problem was that the batter was soggy and not crispy as expected, I was unable to eat the batter. The chips were great.

The mixed kebab , spring roll and salad was amazing, chicken drums where over cooked sadly and chips seems not very fresh , slightly too cold even for delivery but great value for money.

Usually nice food but for months now it's not been good, not used in a while due to poor quality but thought would try again same dried up chips that have been reheated and not to mention the grease it's all comes wrapped up in! All order ended up in the bin!!

The kebabs were fine the pitta bread was very very greasy

"Jumbo" means 6 inches, they won't add enough salt and finger, their deliver driver is rude, the ice cream came open and the garlic bread was very undercooked. Won't order here again.

greasy, stale old food, completely inedible and then refused a refund after having to throw the late food away and offer to go there to get a free drink and a fresh 1 made when order for delivery. disgusting service would rather starve than ever order from here again

Very few chips in kebab meal but sooo much chicken the southern fried chicken bit was only one one side of the chicken I normally full of praise for this place but few issues but won’t put me off ordering again

I ordered a chicken kebab and it wasn’t what I wanted it was chicken tikka with other chicken it was all sloppy I couldn’t eat it was discusting I spent my last money I shouldn’t get something I didn’t want when I paid for it

The fish was ok but chips were dry and tasteless didn’t enjoy it at all

The delivery driver was extremely disrespectful and down right rude. Delivered to wrong address, then after being 30 mins late,took another 15minutes to drive from 1 end of the street to the other, whilst stating he wants me to come out and get it because of the rain! food was obviously cold. Ruscote chippy replaced order and had it delivered in 14 minutes. food is great. tbh will think twice before ordering again. was a loyal customer

Late and the food was cold and even if it was hot the food was terrible. Never seen anyone overxook cod to that degree! Awful chippy won't use again

i HAVE ORDERED FISH FROM HERE BEFORE AND IT WAS GREAT BUT THIS TIME GOT A KEBAB. THE MEAT WAS VERY DRY AND TASTELESS AND THEY FORGOT TO SEND ANY SALAD. I HAVE HAD THE SCAMPI BEFORE THAT WAS OK BUT THIS TIME WAS TOO GREASY AS TOO THE CHIPS. I AM HOPING THIS WAS JUST A BAD DAY FOR THEM AS DO ENJOY THEIR FISH.

Overall it was disappointing - they never sent me my 1.5l bottle of coke and also missed my curry sauce

Food was cold, the chips didn't look like the normal size they normally give out and I found what looks to be a chicken foot covered in batter. I don't normally do reviews as most places are good enough for me and what I expect but this was terrible.

Can’t recommend enough. Food is really good and you get so much of it. Love the variety, my favourite for sure!

Very sorry to say that not only was the food 55 minutes late, but it was cold. Large portions but if the food is inedible what is the point. No marking or labelling to indicate different fish. Very oily. Would not consider using Just Eat again.

CHIPS NEED IMPROVING TOO SOGGY NOT CRISP

I got chips to bring home and I bit into a chip, broke my tooth. It had a small pebble in it.

A little early which is never a bad thing, great price and value, the large chips fed 3, been here a few times and will be going again.

I'd like to put it was early as that's a positive for me, but JustEat penalise this I've just found out!! Anyway, our favourite Fish and chips in Banbury. Portion sizes are always generous and the food always great. Several favourites on the menu. Will sometimes order through JustEat other times will order whilst passing. Friendly staff and owner and great food/service every time

Probably the worst lamb Donner I have ever seen,asked for 2 extra pitta's with extra salad and got 2 bits of bread, every time I order something is wrong

Soggy, anemic and stodgy batter on fish. Chips didn’t taste like they were cooked today. On the upside the portion was huge but most of it went in the bin sadly. Not great.

Not good food tonight unfortunately. We ordered a kebab and sausage with chips. Kebab was frankly a runny mess and the paper had all stuck to the pitta bread so that had to be binned. Most of the contents spilled out The meat was not good either. The chips also suffered the same fate and were stuck to the paper, leaving about half left that were not mushed up. The sausages were good though. Always had decent quality food from here but tonight’s meal was well below normal standards unfortunately.

Chips major undercooked, hard in middle, very pale, sausage batter soggy and dripping in oil, never ever again worste chip shop in banbury by far, buy at ur own risk

I ordered a meat lunch box and had got kebab with it and I got home and the paper the box was wrapped in was drenched in grease when I opened the box the kebab was quite literally dripping with grease and was very fatty.

Totally enjoyed it .. piping hot .. excellent portions and value for money . Definitely will Oder again .

Ive been going here every now and again for the past couple of years. The value for money is outstanding, honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen. Serving sizes are generous with low prices, and decent food. 10/10 would recommend.

Cod was cold, sausage and cod both weren’t fried properly as the batter was undercooked.

Don’t order if you want food quickly. Food was missing and the restaurant ignored my calls and it took me 2 hours to receive my food

The food & delivery was great. The 2 large cod, were indeed large, as was the large portion of chips. With 4998 guests & 5 loaves, the meal could well have been of biblical proportions.

I tried ringing the restaurant for over 45 minutes to explain the address was wrong in the order and on top of this it was late thankfully the driver rang and agreed to deliver to correct address

It’s difficult to rate the product when it didn’t even arrive, despite calling the establishment twice in 30 minutes to be told it’ll be 2 minutes. This was 5 hours ago now… Still waiting for it… (The longest 2 minutes known to man). If I could choose 0 stars, I would. 1 is being kind because I have to, to proceed.
