Great food and great value! Service was excellent! The young man that took care of us, Glen I think, couldn’t do enough for me and my future wife. A great asset to the business, give this special young man a pay rise! We’ll be back very soon!!

I stayed at the Premier in and went across the road to brewers for my dinner it was a fantastic meal with outstanding service my server was Glen he was polite, helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed it was a pleasant experience and if ever in town again I will make sure to pop in. Thank you to the whole staff for a good evening.

Worst food I've had in a long time mushy peas set solid chips cold and not sure the scampi was even cooked each piece spat water at me as I cut into them.

Best breakfast in town, if you don’t wanna cook and wash up after, brewers Fayre is good option, you can eat as much as you like, unlimited coffee and juice and chef Craig is cooking the best soft wobbly bobbly poched eggs, you need to try it, it’s delicious 😋 will be back again soon

It's ok, nothing more than that. Need to be able to order from table or sort out the queuing. Menu poor, needs more healthier option.

Not intentionally give 1 star, but it was so bad. I was waiting for friends, so just ordered a starter for myself, chicken wings £6.19, I got 5 pieces of chicken wings, not like Nando's whole chicken wing, was very small and dry, feel like being deep fry for few times already. So don't order chicken wings here.

Let's start with all the staff are super lovely! Though the quality of food isn't what it was! Few attempts at getting the right food to the right requirements. As someone who has raved about this place for five years, it's not what it was. As the staff are by and large the same faces, think the problems could be outside their control.

What a great place for good food on a budget. Have had breakfast Sunday lunch and a meal in the evening. All were lovely. Friendly staff good location with parking. And pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant's breakfast buffet with our family. The variety of dishes and drinks was everything on an English Breakfast menu and everyone found something they loved. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent value. The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s also parking space for up to 2 hours! We'll definitely be back! 😊

Finished a 15hr shift. Staying at the premier inn across the road. The bar last order for drinks was 9.30pm What bar shuts at 9.30. Especially when the kitchen shuts at 9. Reeks of mismanagement or laziness. Staying in bicester again in 3 weeks. I'll book somewhere else

I popped into brewers fayer in Bicester for breakfast, the service was amazing and the staff was ever so helpful they really go the extra mile for us elderly people. Love going here

We have visited here a fair few times over the last 5+ years and sadly the food has really gone down hill. Steak was full of gristle, many items unavailable and undercooked chips! We complained about the steak, they blamed it on the supplier! No apology or anything. The young guy at the bar was friendly, others weren’t. One guy who was cleaning the tables even butted in our conversation in a negative way - which he had obviously been listening to…Yes, you get what you pay for, but the prices are pretty average but the food, atmosphere and respect were all way below average. It was a good central meeting spot for us all, but we will no longer be returning.

This place is budget-friendly and very clean! The food wasn’t the greatest, but it was good enough for what you’re paying for.

We eat here as a big group every week and the food and service is always spot on with the menu being reasonably priced. Staff are all really friendly and always a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

We always go to Brewers Fayre an have an amazing breakfas!! Charlotte is the best waitress and meets all our needs and we have two small children

It was reasonably priced as meals go, however the food was quite poor quality. Which means you still don’t get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are stuck for somewhere to go.

I recently visited on a Sunday and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant due to the poor service I received. Upon arrival, the female staff who appeared to be in her 50s with curly long hair, greeted us with a clear lack of warmth or professionalism giving us a feeling this restaurant is only welcoming local people but not tourist. Her attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming, and it was evident that she was not particularly friendly or attentive to our needs. As Asian customers, it was disheartening to sense that we were treated with less courtesy than other guests. It’s incredibly disappointing to encounter such behavior in an establishment that should value all patrons equally. Beverages and some of the food has been good , but the service left a sour taste that overshadowed the entire experience. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and work on improving their customer service to ensure that all customers feel respected and welcomed.

Very cold! We had to keep our jackets on and I was still shivering most of the time. Food also seemed to take a long time to arrive, and a number of the cocktails weren't available due to not having the ingredients. On the positive side the food was good, portion size reasonable, and it was well priced

I booked a table 2 weeks in advance for Sunday roast as we had a leaflet posted through our door. We walked half an hour in the rain (don't drive) only for lady at bar telling us the voucher won't work for us because we are two people not three people. We tried to get two roasts one of which had extra meat which made it over £25 minimum but not working for the extra meat doesn't count as a main so our minimum is 2p short. No manager to help out so we went home soggy and sad. Also been twice before and missing ingredients each time. Nothing wrong with the staff but the company really made a terrible misleading promotion which ruined our day.

The food was great and the £5 meal deal made it all the better. At the time, the service was around +30 minutes but it was worth waiting

Went to Brewers frye for a lovely meal with family and friends and had a lovely time had the sirloin stake rare and the kids had popping chicken with sweetcorn and veg sticks Charlotte, Lisa, molly, jodie and Beth made us all feel very welcome and service was very good

£5 deal for a main meal in the week is excellent value (plus £2.99 for a pudding). Food was nice and a decent portion. Service was good. They have highchairs and baby changing etc. You need to register your number plate to park free for 3 hours. We just overstayed this (small babies mean it's easy to stay longer than intended!). However there wasn't a way to extend the 3 hours. We paid £3.50 using an app to stay an extra hour, but you are meant to pay on arrival, not as you're leaving. Hopefully we don't get a parking ticket!! Something to be aware of. If you plan on being a long time, somewhere else might be better.

Family of five we had Christmas menu. We had such a lovely meal, the burgers were really good also. Food cooked perfectly lovely and hot. The children's pudding ran out but the staff were so sorry and gave them extra smarties which was kind. Excellent value for money also .The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough thank you. Before we sat down we were greeted with a list of food not available, fair enough. The service from the bar was good. My only gripe was the I assume 'Manager' on the phone head set every couple of minutes, ruined the atmosphere. Please take phone calls BOH or at least have one where a raised voice isn't necessary. The food was pretty much standard and what you'd expect.

A perfect example of how not to run a pub/restaurant. Arrived at the venue to be greeted with "here's a list of things that are not available" hmmmm firstly I'm not telepathic and have never been here before so how about you show me a menu of what is available?? at which point we should have left ! Conflicting stories as to the cause of the apparent supplier issues didn't help our confidence. "We are having to buy food locally to get through the day" then why on earth didn't somebody write a full and comprehensive shopping list of ingredients required ???? I mean there is a massive Tesco's over the road and If I recall correctly they even sell garlic bread! (which was also not on the menu)... Why oh why did you not call people in the morning to give us the option to cancel our booking ? I can only assume either out of complete lack of intelligence/situational awareness or a cynical desire to glean what cash you could out of poor unwitting fools who would be served barely palatable beige fodder. The one dull glimmer of a barely shining light were the waiting staff who were helpful in what must have been a very bad work day. It certainly made for a memorable birthday celebration sadly for all the wrong reasons. Needless to say the Brewers Fayre wasn't fair at all. In summary reminded me of the old British Rail cheese sandwich from the 70's wholly dissatisfying.

I live in Cyprus and flew over for a short stay to visit family and friends before Christmas. My elderly mother wanted to treat us to a Festive meal at the Brewers Fayre in Bicester. I made the booking via there website over a week ago. When we arrived, the staff told us they were having supplier issues, and they had already closed the carvery. We were shownto our table, and given the chance to copy the hand written list of items that were not available from the menu. We chose our meals, and I went to the bar to place my order, only to be told everything we wanted wasn't available. I understand that sometimes things go wrong, and suppliers change, but my frustration is that, at no point until we arrived, had anyone contacted me (via email etc) to inform me of the issue, and that the menu would be seriously affected by the lack of deliveries. My mother was very disappointed that her special meal with her family was nonexistent. We didn't even stay for a drink, and left.

I was shocked with how much wasn't available on the menu. I think the list of food unavailable was longer than the actual menu !!! When we had finally worked out what to have and placed our order, it then took over an hour for our food to arrive. Pizza, over cooked. Steak, char grilled to a singe.. Chips, all over cooked.

Disappointing Christmas menu no pigs in blankets or Brussels!!!!!

I had carvery & it was amazing very pleasantly surprised, & everyone else at our table enjoyed there food definitely would recommend.

During our visit, we were refused a table by staff member Ryan, despite the online system showing availability. His dismissive and unprofessional behavior made us feel unwelcome. Other staff were polite, but Ryan's continued hostility overshadowed our experience. Based on similar reviews, it’s concerning that discriminatory treatment is occurring here.

Ate here as part of the meal deal whilst staying at premier inn Bicester. I regularly stay at premier inns throughout the uk for work and this particular brewers fayre is the worst one I ever experienced. First night there was a lot of food on the menu not available, second night approximately half the menu was not available. The actual pub had no heating on so everyone had to wear coats in the pub whilst eating. The food was cold very quickly . However it was served minutes after ordering and couldn’t possibly be cooked that fast. It appeared and tasted like it had been precooked and just reheated in microwave. Staff seemed to make a joke of how crap everything was . It’s a good job work pays for the meals because if it was me paying for a family dinner I would definitely have refused and left to eat somewhere else. I must also say that the breakfast was lovely, hot and fresh so I know they can do good food if they put their mind to it.

A very poor experience, 5 of us opting for the "Festive Turkey" which took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did it had cold plates, cold sprouts, cold carrots, cold cabbage and bizarrely very hot potatoes (I suspect the plates were sitting in the kitchen getting cold waiting for the potatoes). Another table had complained that they had starters an hour and a half ago but no sign of the main course since. To top off this miserable experience I'm informed that there was no toilet paper in the Ladies. You may gather we won't be visiting Brewers Fayre again, at least not the Bicester one. I did complain at the bar and the lad said he could go and look for the manager but it seemed unfair to others waiting to order drinks to make them wait while he went to look for the Manager.

Been there today for my sisters 50th birthday meal. we had a booking for 12pm. We called the day before to change it to 1pm and was told this was fine. We got there at 12:40(20minutes early) to be told we hadn't called the previous day. my sister said she had called and showed the lady on the counter the call log. She basically called my sister a liar and said they wouldn't have told her it could be changed. Even though when we walked in, they said oh that's the booking that was changed! So they 10p% knew. They then told us this wasn't our fault and they would honour OUR mistake but we had to be gone by 2pm! They then took 25 minutes to bring out my sister vegetarian option so we then disnt even go up to the carvery toll 1:15pm! What a farce and what a rush! The lady on the counter was so rude! The carvery selection of veg was minimal, the roast potatoes were disgusting, and the plates are child size plates! We will never eat here again!

We ate here the two nights we stayed over the road at the Premier Inn. The food was as good as a Brewers Fayre gets, and I've eaten in a lot on my travels. My rump steak on the second night was trimmed to perfection, cooked as I wanted, and please tell the chef the best steak from a Brewers Fayre in the country. Great staff with a bit of crack and banter. Super helpful as I had a 40% off voucher, so they explained all that. A nice location brand new and shops in walking distance close by.

On arriving we were greeted at the door prior to making a booking. We were advised of a couple of things not available on the menu but this did not effect our party. I could not fault any of our meals apart from simply questioning why sweetcorn and peppers are in the salad ( that however is my preference ) faults for this visit is no check back was given to us or anyone within our view once food had arrived. This may be something that they don't do but as an ex manager of pubs this was a must when I was in the industry. Lastly when we had finished deserts noone offered to come to clear the table even though we were still sat their for 20 min. Baby changing disgusting and needed to clean before being used. Spoke to manager who apologised and was also going to check it.

Booked a carvery for 4pm which closes at 6pm. Got there at 4pm and they decided to close the carvery. We said we’d like to look at the menu there before deciding whether to sit down but we were forced to the table. Decided to walk out.

Went there for my birthday with my family, if I could put one for the service I would. They forgot about us, and when we remind them that we were still there, they brought us cold dishes. Terrible food! And they can't even use the microwave!

The food was well-prepared, and everything tasted delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. Katie, our server, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Katie’s warm hospitality really enhanced our experience, making us feel welcome and well cared for. Overall, it was an excellent start to the day, and I can't recommend this place enough for a hearty breakfast. We'll definitely be returning!

Good enough food for what was expected. Didn’t have much available as they didn’t receive a delivery, however it turned up before we got round to ordering so we were very quickly informed of this, which we were grateful for. Good options at decent prices too. Lots of mid week deals available too.
