The soup wasn’t what I was used to eat was very sweet

Food arrived early. The food was very hot and fresh, tasty and huge portion. First time ordering and will be ordering again.

Spring Rolls were cold after a 20 minute delay. Singapore Fried Rice was tasty and still warm enough to be palatable.

I would like a refund or voucher the salt and Peper chicken had about 6n̈ pieces of chicken in the rest was rotten onion and my daughter had eaten some before I noticed and has just woke up screaming in pain with her stomach I wasn't going too complain until I saw the affect its had on her , the only thing that got eaten was the rice and chips I didn't trust the prawns after noticing the rotten veg , we only have one treat night and week as money tight and we was all really upset 30£ waisted

Spent £50+ and £49.50 went in the bin. Absolutely diabolical, will not be going there again, probably the worst meal we have ever had, it spoilt my daughters birthday treat.

All the food was as lovely as ever, except for the noodles. Not unpleasant (a bit earthy?) but not the same as our last order before this one. We put the lateness down to the torrential downpour we had that weekend. As stated earlier almost everything was top notch! Thank you Ruby!

Disappointed a friend raves about this place and maybe I didn’t order the right food but I had a box meal and the rice (clumped together and cold) and chips (soggy) weren’t the best and and the curry was just slopped on and that wasn’t really piping hot either. Although the box meal was hit a miss the salt and pepper wings were good.

Cold food that took 1-40 hours to get 800 years from shop to our house. Shocking

Ordered salt & pepper chicken box which was supposed to have chicken pieces however there were no chicken pieces just wings and ribs. Otherwise nice

Missing chicken out the salt and pepper box

incorrect order received, this was rectified quickly but the quality of food seems to have gone down hill it's usually great but this one was greasy and lacked flavour.

Food contains to much Salt, as it takes ALL flavour from the MAIN product itself.

it was early but I'm happy with that as I know they recognise repeat customers. so I order knowing it might come early when they can or onetime with their updates.

honestly go to shanghai express this place is horrible. wasted 30 quid and eat none of it ... manager Said I'd get a full refund but didn't do it. everyone said this place was terrible and it is.

very bad delivery times said my food was on the way at 8.45 still was waiting for it at 9.45 and it still didn't turn up until 10 past 10

we've used Ruby alot over the last 2 years and they've never disappointed us.

Disgusting cold flavourless. I've eaten better frozen supermarket rubbish than that. Chicken was plain and bland not cooked in the sauce just thrown on top. Chips hard and cold. Under cooked onion, and a spoonful of curry sauce. 1st and last order went straight in the bin avoid.

The chicken in the chicken and black bean dish wasn’t as nice as I’ve had previously. It seemed a bit slimey so one in our group would not eat it. However the rest of the dish (accompanying vegetables and sauce) were nice.

Always great service from Ruby and the food is always hot when it arrives.

I ordered Szechuan chicken and boiled rice, the Szechuan was very bland , the worst version that I have ever had . The chicken was okay hence two stars but the whole meal didn’t gel together at all and the heat (spice) just seemed to have been added to mask the lack of care taken to prepare the dish.

Chicken fried rice and curry sauce was good as always but prawn toast 6 pound for that. Defo not worth it, came burnt and soggy. Won’t get them again.

Food was excellent as usual (Special curry and mushroom fried rice) and delivered piping hot. The only gripe i have and it's not just limited to this establishment is with the (admittedly free) prawn crackers. Why are they always stale? Otherwise highly recommended.

Not very nice tonight, had King Prawns with stir fried veg, very watery. Husband had chicken noodles and chicken fried rice which were both very dry & starchy.

Ordered Special curry and rice. Curry was nice and spicy without being too oily and had a decent mix of meats in it. Rice was ok too. The Ruby has become my go to for a decent Chinese lately. .

Why are the items on the printed menu cheaper than on the Just eat menu? Examples salt and pepper crispy chicken £6.80 vs £7.80 on Just eat, chips £2.60 vs £3.20 every item in this order is more expensive in the just eat menu. I was sent an extra bottle of coke but was charged £3.80 for it!

Can't say if it was the food, but had a dodge stomach all night. Chicken curry was mainly onions.

Food was awful come way too quick, chicken balls was hard and not edible. Delivery driver must of thought he was Hagrid off Harry Potter the way my door was banged. Don’t think I’ll order from here again. Shame did use often never again.
