Placed my order over 1hr to deliver 1 starter and 1 main £20.80 sent it back driver very polite never be using this place again

They do not even deserve a one star from me. Service was brilliant however the food was disgusting! I couldn’t even bring myself to have yoghurt and mint sauce smelt gone off. My rice was burnt. Korma also tasted gone off I nearly threw up only thing I could eat just about was prawn purée however the bread was over cooked. Definitely would not reccomend

Never order from spice hut balti takeaway. These guys are scammers & should be banned. They are looting innocent people's money for the name of food. Read the reviews & you will find out why. One star is far too much

Ordered £40 worth of food, was absolutely amazing. Worth every penny. Didn't take long to arrive and the food was outstanding, certainly one of the best and will definitely be ordering again

Just placed an order at 1am. Via just eat, however the restaurant cancelled the order!

Ordered on justeat, they extended the time, when asked the person on the phone started to reply back as if I swore at him. He was so defensive, I had to stop him and tell him that I'm not complaining I'm just asking. He was very rude on the phone. He even said come pick up the food because your too far and itll take longer. I responded by saying you shouldnt be on justeat and delivering this far if thats the issue. I ended up cancelling my order.

Waited for an hour called back no answer…. Food never arrived… called just eat and they said they have lots of complaints about this place. It’s ok if they can be bothered but other than that it’s a waste of time

Waited an hour and a half for 30 minute delivery....food barely warm poppadoms stale salad as they call it lettuce and a piece if cucumber. Most if the food went in the bin. Will not be buying from here again.

Avoid the food is so bad the driver owner whoever he is thinks he can just enter my porch area without knocking then make comments or trying to make a joke on how many people we ordering for like why is it even your business the food had no flavour the meat smelt off all in the bin.

Not impressed..never ordered from here before and won't again, Chips were so undercooked, food was cold by the time it was delivered, and no spice in it whatsoever. Felt very underwhelmed after eating it.

Please do not order from this restaurant as it has got the most rude and dangerous delivery drivers. I had a terrible experience today with one of them, I had ordered food after a long shift and was very tired and hungry. had ordered food from this place Spice hut balti takeaway after a long shift and was very tired and hungry. The delivery guy asked me to come down outside as couldn’t park inside the barrier, so as all delivery drivers do, I requested him to come upstairs as the building is right next to the barrier and that is when he started misbehaving and threatening me to come down if I want the food or else he will it take away with him. Appalled by such arrogance, I asked him to take it away.But since I was already very tired and hungry, I immediately called him again and requested him to please bring the food, he refused and rudely told me that he will take it away now that I had said it, I told him he can’t do that but he said that he is doing it and is not scared of any complaints. We had a heated argument and I was left very upset and angry. Horrible experience!

First time ordering from here has no where else was open and I live in ws3 area they still deliverd here food was banging only down fall was the chips was abit under cooked and cold but other than that the food was tasty full of flavour and I recommend people who live closer to the shop than me to try it out it was lovley I will definitely be ordering from there again thankyou

Would have had no issues if it had arrived on time but having waited 2 hours from placing my order to receiving my food I had lost my appetite. Shame as the food was bang on and tasty. Only other complaint is we asked for chicken tikka in both curries and both had standard chicken in, still tender but not what we requested.

Worst take away ever had. Chicken was off, beef was like eating burnt rubber, eggs were green, chicken curry was a watery sauce wirh no chicken. The meal was binned as not fit to eat so disappointing should have read all the negative reviews before ordering. At least a refund was given by uber eats. Very concerned about the hygiene and quality of the food as the minimal food eaten caused an upset stomach.

Top draw food, best curry house in Darlaston by a long way, fast efficient delivery, polite staff .... I strongly recommend 👍

Absolutely LOVE the food from Spice Hut Balti Takeaway. Living about 45 Min drive away yet ALWAYS drive all the way for this place! I Won’t ever order from anywhere else! The people working there are very genuine, honest and sooo caring + Food is delicious. 10/10 from me :)

Food was rubbish, delivery was very late, but even if the delivery was late I would understand if the food was good and hot, but the food went straight in the bin, the new SIMLA INDIAN TAKEAWAY is much better than here, they give fast delivery, and the best indian i’ve tried in the area

Where do I start. Right I ordered my meal from the JustEat app at 16.35. My food did not arrive until 18.30. This was much longer then the given time of 17.25. I was notified that they are receiving a huge volume of orders and postponed the delivery for 17.45. I did not mind this initially. When 18.00 arrived I called the restaurant they informed me that the driver is already on their way. I am 15 min drive from the restaurant. When the driver arrived, I live in a small block of flats the driver called asking me to come collect the food from the communal door entrance. Here the driver apologised and that their is one driver available. (I believe if you can not meet the customer expectations or the service you claim to proved eg. Delivery for 17.25 don't accept the order). The food was warm, chips were very greasy and I had a drink they substituted which I did not choose on the order. Overall, I felt that the service is poor, lacking in organisation and felt that they were dishonest.

Food are always amazingly tasty, hot and well packed. There's lots of dish to choose from. The customer service and delivery driver are very kind and friendly. I highly recommend to everyone! Keep up the good job guys, well done!

Ordered of just eat, slightly a bit late 🤦🏽‍♀️ but I got hungry at the wrong time it's been a long day LOL MASHALLAH I ordered a bhindi ghust dish and a chicken chaat main, with a garlic chilli cheese naan 😍💯🤤🤤🤤 oh my god mashallah seriousy not gunna name the restuarnt but I worked for the one down the road from this place and their chef was always diffrent and not as flavorful as THIS I might start occasionally order just keema and peas cuz that's my fave LOL but it was a while since I ordered anything bhindi wise so I thought why not and I'm just sad I couldn't eat it all lmaoooo, round 2 tomorrow 🤤💯🤤💯 THANKYOU for delivering it fast too I was so hungry LOL

I ordered a Rogan Josh Paneer as me and my partner are vegetarian and have been for years, to find they sent us a Rogan Josh with what looked like lamb in? Absolutely disgusted!!! no paneer either?! Checked the receipt to double check I ordered the correct item which I did. Also we ordered masala chips, which cost £3 and they just sent normal chips? Which were disgusting. So after finding we weren't sent meat, we tried calling the restaurant about 10 times to receive no answer. Waste of time and money do not order from here!! This cost us £16, for a curry, rice, chips and a naan bread. The naan bread and rice they were both that bad they couldn't be eaten, honestly this was the worst take away I've ever had. Very disappointed as its hard to find places that do paneer curries. Very lucky I did not eat any of the curry. DO NOT EAT HERE, TERRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would you shouldn't even be open!!!!

Ordered off just eat at 12 : 00am been confirmed and would deliver at 1:30am.. waited till 1:50am phoned up and got told food was on the way... then came to 2:30am still no sign so phoned up again to be told that the food was not done and that live too far away... being rude down the phone, awful customer service! Ordered a vegetable masala, and a king prawn starter. I’ve been vegetarian for 7 years, started eating the food and it had chunks of chicken in it. Spat it out immediately. My partner started eating a prawn, had to run to the toilet and started vomiting. They weren’t cooked at all. Phoned the restaurant and the bloke on the phone started being abusive and threatening my partner telling him to come down and they’ll sort it out there. Contacted just eat who phoned the restaurant. The manager phoned my partner asking to come and pick the food up to take back and show the chef. 10 mins later he came, checked the food and knew it wasn’t cooked, and there was chicken in a vegetarian meal. At first he did start mixing the chicken in to try and hide it and started saying it was potato not chicken! I got the chicken back out, pulled it apart and he finally admitted he was wrong. He took one look at the prawns, and covered it back up and apologised. He told just eat to give us a full refund.

Been here today for Christmas dinner!!! And the service and food as been brilliant the whole family were more than satisfied. Highly recommend thank you to all at spice hut

Ordered from here sunday and the food was horrible chips where hard and tasted like onion the korma was watery and the naan bread looked like it was just threw together theyve made no attempt to contact me and when just eat got in touch with them theyve basically blackmailed me into removing my review before they give me a refund shouldnt deliver food like that and expect people to put up with it

Ordered through just eat... put card details in... defided I would collect. Got there and was told I needed to pay, I thought I'd paid through the app, was showed the check that said I hadnt. I didnt argue I only had a £50 note on me so I offered this as payment for my £13 meal. I was told they had no change. I used the toilets which were in.complete darkness and stank of urine. I also noticed the kitchen was extremely dirty. They wanted me to give them my £50 note to take somewhere to get changed... no thanks!!! I left the meal as I wasnt willing to wait while there was a stalemate with regards to the legal tender I was offer and seeing how filthy the toilets and kitchen were I think things worked out for the best... However it didnt end there... 15 mins later they offered to deliver the food (not fresh... the same food I'd turned down 15 minutes prior) if I paif through the app... I declined... I received swearing and abuse!! Shocking service, filthy premises... AVOID if you value your health and sanity!

VILE! Spent over 20 pound cans of pop were warm,meat chewy,starters were dry and all the sauce had came open in the bag. Didn’t even spend 10 minutes tucking into the food. Disgusting won’t be ordering from here again!!!

***DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!*** Ordered at 18.30 on just eat, store added extra 30min on, guessing for adverse driving conditions (all roads were clear) still took an extra 30min on top of that to arrive over 2hours wait in the end. Food arrived warm, we ate and within an hour my partner felt sick and was vomiting not long after. Both woke up with the runs. ***DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!***

Awful customer service, i ordered a meal friday and they gave me the wrong dish, i called back and one of the staff promised to call me back the next day and delivery me the dish i ordered, they did not do that so i called up today and the boss of the restaurant was really rude and rufesed to do anthing for me. The food was also tasteless.
