The food was absolutely amazing, especially the lamb. The staff is also very kind and efficient. Highly recommend whoever reads this to go here.

The food here is fab. I love all of the staff, very friendly and they get to know you. Sometimes they can be a bit slow, but the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious.

I've been visiting and ordering from The Royals for a number of years and while the food is still decent quality, the service standards have fallen below what I'd consider acceptable. Ordering for delivery is a waste of time, on average you can expect to wait up two hours before your food arrives and this isn't just a regular occurrence, it's every single time. In the actual restaurant you can expect great food but slow service, confusion over orders and indifferent staff. It's such a shame that the food is wonderful, easily one of the nicest curry places in London but the service is so poor and I can only assume the business is terribly mismanaged.

I went here years ago and the place was substandard. I was nearby with my family so went here as it was on the taste card. Service was slow, but it was friendly. We had the chicken sag, King prawn masala, fish madras and aloo gobi, all were delicious freshly prepared and tasted individual. The paratas were slightly greasy but my dad lived them. Vegetarian biryani was slightly underwhelming. Overall it was a good choice. Would definitely go again. Reasonable prices with the discount.

We came across this restaurant on Just Eat, which had over a thousand good ratings and we weren't disappointed. Best onion bhajis my husband has ever tasted! - Everything was delicious and the food was the perfect temperature - we will definitely order from you again.

I used to go to the restaurant for 9 years I came here after 2 years and the standards have honestly dropped so low! They got our orders wrong for the starters and main course. Then we had to wait 45minutes for main course. The food had no taste whatsoever and the service was terrible! Definitely won't be going here again

This place is always late. Whether it's a Monday, Friday or Sunday. It's always late. And when it's arrived it's cold too. We have tried this place a few times and always give it the benefit our doubt but we always fail to have a great or even nice experience from them. When you call and complain you don't get any sorry or anything.We will not order from here anymore.

Impromptu family trip to the royals turned into a feast fit for the royals! The food was sumptuous, couldn't have asked for better. Service was reasonably good. All in all, we had a lovely time.

The food was of a very high standard and very nice. The delivery time was spot on, I highly recommend the royals and will definitely be ordering again.

Been using this takeaway for years. Recently find that food is not as good as it used to be. Last evening chicken tikka masala was so salty we couldn't eat it. They replaced it, however our meal was spoiled due to having to wait for new ctm. Furthermore we asked for one change (the menu permits two changes) but was charged extra. Surely chef tastes for seasoning before serving. Very tempted to inform Food Standard's Agency.

Came here and ordered several dishes.. We ordered the potato bajias.. They were very oily.. Seemed as if it had be double cooked.. The second dish was potato and cauliflower.. The flavour was there but the potato was a bit under cooked.. We also ordered the garlic naan.. But one was burnt and crispy.. Not nice at all.. And the butter naan wasn't buttery at all

We order from Royals all the time... but have started to see the quality in the different chefs... tonight was a no go for us on both meals ... but there is a 5* chef there... wish we knew the right nights to order... sorry Royals

Disgusting food. I'm an average cook at best and I could have cooked a better curry than what received. The curry sauce was like water and the rice had no taste to it, at all. Pilau rice taste like plain white rice. Definitely won't be ordering from here again. Yuck.

The mix up off my food order went wrong twice with the driver who we had to go downstairs to speak to the driver twice, because our food was all mixed up with someone else's order in bags...by the time the food came.. The icecream melted.. And I found the hazelnut icecream was way expensive in a little pot.. Otherwise it was good...

went here last night to have a very friendly welcome, a very attentive waiter and amazing food. Mohammad made our night he was and always is kind, helpful and completes your experience. Would highly recommend.

Still my favourite take away! Tasty food always on time! I've noticed they've changed their food containers to the foil looking ones; I guess this was too keep the food warmer although that was never a problem! Love it

Me and my friends (group of 10) attended this restaurant. Reason why we attended was because Royal Nawabs where we originally was suppose to go had a wedding function, therefore we were told the waiting time would be 1.5 hours. The second option we attended was an utter disgrace.... Firstly, the pint sized Coke we ordered was flat...when this was addressed to one of the waiters he insisted that the Coke they serve is from an unopened 500ml bottle...the funny thing is I saw with my own eyes the barman serving us the pints from a 2 litre opened bottle. This really annoyed me but I didn't say anything. Secondly, it took over an hour to serve our food...by this time we all were irate and my 3 year old niece had fell asleep. Every time we addressed the issue of "where is the food" we were told "the mixed grill takes time," again what a load of nonsense. In addition, the mince meat or 'keema' looked so inedible I wouldn't feed it to a rat. Once the food arrived it appeared to be mediocre, bland and we had to request some of the food to be re-heated! Once we finished eating our partially consumed food, the waiter was removing our plates....he said this to my partner pointing at a plate, "give me the plate"...no even "please." The waiters customer service was an absolutely disgrace! I would not recommend this place and wouldn't even allow starving refugees to eat there!

Telephoned an order for delivery, I wanted to change veg curry to Tarka dhal that accompanies the biryani dish. Which I have done before, well I was told it would be £1.00 extra. I said it's the same price on the menu he then said I will get the manager, who started some waffle about the sauces they use in the veg curry being different than Tarka dhal, I then explained that it's the same price. He then rudely said I don't have to get that, I could get something else. I would not be getting any food from here again as my regular takeaway was not open that day. Lack of customer service, no flexibility on dishes.

Went with a group of friends to this very friendly and reasonably priced restaurant. The staff were attentive and eager to please and made every effort to accommodate our varied dietary requirements. The food was cooked to order and very tasty. The nan bread delicious. A great evening for a midweek visit.
