Went for Tuesday quiz night and drinks, it was great!

This is such a family friendly pub! Food and atmosphere are lovely.

Popped in for a few beers waiting for some friends, was chatting to the manager as we get along well. Sad to see Stella Artois go… bring it back! But great convo while waiting and felt warm and welcome!

A nice local pub. 5 of us ate here for Mother’s Day lunch. Fantastic value for money. Great service by Mark and his team. Thoroughly recommend this pub for a drink or food at very reasonable prices.

Me and my family got wings to share as a starter, while i got a chicken katsu, the chicken wings were very tasty, and with a great portion size, the chicken katsu and perfectly crunchy chips and fresh peppers that lit my mouth on fire XD. The service was very friendly and polite.

We came for lunch today with my son. Stupidly I didn't book a table (on mothers day and football day) but the gentleman who worked there was absolutely amazing, kind and helpful <3 thank You! Also thanks for the Chef who cooked our tasty food a bit earlier then he/she should've as we were early :D

I tried the double chicken burger today and it was great, cooked to perfection along with tasty chips and onion rings. This pub has a great family friendly atmosphere and the service is superb.

Sunday roast consider £50-60 per person, it is big amount of food, so consider going to hungry or sharing with other. I recommend eat the vegetarian options as the quinoa and the mushrooms with beetroot

Food was good and there was plenty of it. Service was ok.

On 04/02/24 I booked a table for 7 of us to celebrate my grand-daughter’s 10th birthday. I haven’t been there for a while. Nothing has changed from the last visits I’ve had there. Mark and his staff did us proud. Most of us had the roast dinner, which was really nice. The staff in this pub are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Mark kept coming over to make sure everything was ok. Thanks Mark and all your staff for a lovely time. We all had a brilliant birthday meal.

Took Mum to meet some friends and see the live band, can’t remember the name but brilliant! Great staff and environment, good came out a little late but apologises given and you can’t help it if they are extremely busy! Wings all around baby!

I really enjoyed my double burger, always cooked to perfection and the chips were very tasty. Easily the best burgers in the area and great value. The service is fast and attentive. Highly recommended!

Another throughly enjoyable lunch at this great local pub. The ale is well kept and served correctly, which I enjoyed immensely. This was followed by a straightforward British classic of Ham, Eggs and Chips. Generous slices of ham, topped with a perfectly cooked egg (non of this Pineapple nonsense here) served with crispy chips and peas. All served up by the friendly staff run by the talented Landlord, Mark. I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for a decent pint and a flavoursome bite to eat, should you find yourself hungry.

The manager and his staff are very friendly and polite and are always pleased to go that extra mile to make their customers feel welcome and happy. The food is very reasonably priced and is cooked and presented well. This is my go-to place if I want a decent pint and reliably cooked food.

Thought we’d give this pub a try, looked nice from outside. Pleasantly surprised. Very clean and welcoming, staff very efficient & the menu was something for everyone and wasn’t over priced. My friends and I will definitely be back. Love a great pub 😊 Landlord/ manager was funny too

We called in for coffees but ended up staying for a light lunch too. The drinks - and food - arrived really quickly and the staff couldn’t have been more obliging.

Another excellent lunch at the Royal Standard. An excellent example of how a traditional English pub needs to be run. Quality and well priced food, served promptly but very attentive staff, especially the Landlord Mark. All washed down with a perfectly served pint of Abbot Ale.

Last minute trip to the pub for dinner with a group of friends on Thursday. They were quite busy but made sure they could accommodate us. We had a great meal and great atmosphere!

Was in the area for a work visit in July and found this little beauty! Staff were brilliant, really warm and welcoming, made sure my lunch arrived within my timeframe (perfectly cooked steak and salad - great value). Liked it so much my next visit this week I brought the family for dinner. Again the staff really looked after us, made a real fuss of the kids. They brought a colouring book and pencils, extra sauce on the ice cream, kids were in heaven, wife and I could relax. Wife says the wines are great too. It was quite busy, seemed a good mix of locals and out of towners - and dog friendly. Also, they remembered my name from my first visit. Genuine warmth and service. Can't recommend enough. Like Arnie, I'll be back.

Staff nice Service tonight was so slow. Arrived at 6.30 with a group of 14. We left pub at 8.30 still two people waiting for food. Meals came out 2 at at a time with long gaps in between. Will use pub again only for drinks. Will never order food again

Finished our evening off here after a show in Camberly at the weekend. WOW what a place. The pub was actually alive and I mean ALIVE. But knew it was going to be good because the car park was practically full!. Had a lovely well presented burger and chips tasted great. The staff were welcoming which only added to the great atmosphere. We will be back 30th September but going to park my car before going to the show lol if they dont mind.

This pub is great for a fabulous night out..The Manager and team are all very welcoming and the atmosphere is lovely. Prices are very good, Drinks and cocktails are very pleasant as well as the food which is very tasty, hot and great portion sizes....

This is an awesome pub, great location and wonderful staff. Nothing was too much for them, even down to replacing a steak that was a little too rare for the medium rare we ordered. Came back perfect. I had a nice sample of an ale. Food was tasty, well worth the price. I cannot fault this place nor the staff. Amazing!

Had a great day at the pub watching the live football of the World Cup!! Had some cracking food too. Very busy though, but managed so smoothly on the day!

Great vibe for watching the footie, drinks are reasonable and service is friendly! Didn’t try the food but the menu looks like it has something for everyone and the rest of my friends enjoyed their nibbles!

Very nice town local, away from the centre of Camberley. Good Greene King menu. Food was fresh and arrived quickly. The pub has a lot of open space and an outdoor seating area. Six type 2 EV charger points have just been installed in the car park and are due to be commissioned soon (August 2023).

Hopeless service, will not be back. Ordered IPA and fries at 540pm, food didn't arrive, checked with bar staff at 605pm, and no response, at 615pm still no food...at which point, it was time for me to leave as I was not planning to wait any longer !!
