The Royal Dragon takeaway in Bath and North East Somerset

Have ordered from the 'Royal Vegan' menu on Deliveroo a few times before and has always been fine. Mock chicken is good and flavours nice. Ordered the vegan Satay Skewers which I have had before and have always been fine. After a few bites I realised it was REAL CHICKEN. Have been vegan for a while and just devastated that it has been ruined by incompetence. If ordering from a fully vegan menu you think that is the last mistake they could make. Zero ability to communicate as there is no number to contact and what is the point as I have already consumed it. If you are vegan and thinking of ordering from here, don't bother.

Am beyond livid. Neither my husband or I eat meat. Initial issue was that delivery was well over-due. I couldn't contact them to chase up because their phone number is invalid, they don't have an email and there was no follow up / tracking option on the online order. Order eventually arrives and their Sea Spiced Aubergine dish - marked as VEGETERIAN on the menu appears to have minced Pork in it - only noticed after I've already eaten a bit. I should have looked at TripAdvisor before ordering.

Food was rubbish. Chicken satay was hard and incredibly dry however the sauce with it was nice, chips tasted like they’d been sat in the bag for days and had a horrible after taste. Egg fried rice was average however lacked any egg at all. Ribs were lacking meat and were incredibly dry. The barbecue sauce didn’t taste like the average barbecue sauce and was tasteless and was incredibly oily. Delivery was quick with no problems however the food really was lacking. Disappointing and definitely not worth the money.

Unfortunately it’s poor. If you can’t make bbq spare ribs, you shouldn’t be in the business. Pancake roll was decent…..

Would rate it zero stars if that was an option. Waited 1.5 hours with no communication from them just for the order to be cancelled. incorrect phone number given on both Uber eats and their website. It’s calm though looks like a b tech golden dragon anyways. Don’t order from here if you want some food to actually come. Unlike tyga I am not getting a taste. On the way to order from golden dragon as we speak #realdeal. Wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. 0/5

this was the worst experience ever i ordered through uber eats and i have had to wait 2 hours for food not to arrive. When I called for the last time in mid conversation the women on the phone hung up on me (this was on my friends phone) as when i tried to my call got disconnected. I had to call 5 times to find out where my order was and every-time they said it was on the way or the driver had just arrived. please do not order from this s**t show of a restaurant. Please do not order from this “restaurant”.

Ordered from the this place close to 10 times and never had a bad meal. I usually ask to swap out the sweet n sour for Curry Sauce which they usually do but they didnt this time which was a shame. So the sauce went to waste. The order was late but they did call ahead to tell me the driver had car troubles. Food arrived hot and fresh. Would order again in the future

Ok so I have been well impressed again with the food quality 10/10 for me I'm loving the house specials I could eat this every day I find that its pretty healthy food its got your fruit + veg, The delivery driver had his daughter helping today what I thought is a good idea she's a very polite young lady who speaks very good English. Keep up the good work guys !!! Respect

Ordered a portion king prawn curry and a portion of egg fried rice to go go alongside it and I thoroughly enjoyed them both. Will definitely return to order again.

Ok so I loved my food from this takeaway today its soooo filling incredibly tasty I love the chicken balls + I love the Roast chicken they must marinate it for days for it to taste as Moorish as it does happy all round cant fault it in anyway so I enjoy giving this takeaway a great review because they deserve it Bravo Respect

The food arrived over an hour late, and I was left waiting, with no idea what was going on. I had to contact JustEat, who chased it up and then received a new delivery time, 6:43 (instead of 5:45). The new delivery didn’t even arrive by this time, and was even later than the amended delivery time! JustEat offered me £5 credit to apologise for the bad service of the restaurant, but it hardly makes up for the hour spent standing in a car park. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again! 1/10

OK so I'm loving this takeaway its great that there open because if I cant get a food delivery I know that the Royal Dragon takeaway will be open to save the day there food is incredibly tasty + I think there delivery driver is sound he always apologizes when he's late which I think is nice... Respect all round keep up the good work !!!!!

Estimated delivery pre order was 45-60 min. Ordered the food, and the delivery was then expected to be 90min. The food then arrived another 30min late. Very disappointed in the service...

Food was ok once it arrived but very disappointed in the significant delay. We ordered at 17.00 for 18.45 so plenty of time to plan in the order/delivery time. The Pad Thai was not good at all. We didn’t eat much of that.

Took 90 minutes to be delivered but food was worth the wait. See you next week

Food arrived 30 mins late, but the food was still piping hot. Great taste! Even swapped out the sweet & sour for Curry sauce as I requested in the notes. Ordered numerous times before and will continue in the future.

Ok so I do enjoy ordering from this takeaway there food is lovely and tasty its always nice to order loads so you can try different dishes the time it has gone to make one dish is incredible I'm loving the Thai dishes and the house specials !! very yummy indeed

Crispy chicken only crispy because every piece still had huge chunks of thigh bone still in it. "Mouthwatering chicken" just chicken thigh (again, lots of bones) soaked in basically a broth of oil and soy

We ordered our food to come at a specific time and it arrived half an hour early. Our flat door was buzzed but no one spoke when we answered and they left the bag outside our door without knocking. Luckily, one of us went outside 20 mins later to find it but we wouldn’t have known it was there.

We were given a 50 minute time slot for delivery which is already long and it then took an extra hour. When I called the restaurant they just said they were busy which I understand but still very disappointing to wait 2 hours for food. Food was hot on arrival which is good.

The delivery driver was very nice, but the order was battered fish, what I got was some sort of a fish surrounded by a sauce of some kind. So I called to say “this isn’t bettered fish” to which the operator just have attitude and said “yes it is! We gave you what you ordered”. I just had to hang up with the attitude. I then googled “battered fish” and “Chinese battered fish” neighed of which showed me any dishes like what they sent me which they insisted was battered fish. So if you are ordering that dish, don’t expect it or good customer service.

Order Chinese from here though just eat. We received the confirmation email at 17:36 order number 863659219 confirmed for 7 pm, although 1.5 hours to wait was a long time we accepted this. We received a notification before 7 through app the it was on its way. 19:31 I phoned to chase and was told it's out with the driver. 20:00 the just eat app is saying it's been delivered. It wasnt! I chased on the phone again and was told its out with driver, they refused to refund and blamed the driver for being slow as the only explanation. 20:32 food arrives, 3 hours after ordering 1.5 after time given. The driver was nice and very apologetic, stating he had only been given the food 20 mins ago.. which sounds totally believable as the food we got was still piping hot. By this point we had pretty much given up and cooked alternatives for some of the family. We had both young children and those in the family with medical conditions who can not go without! I called again to ask for explanation and money off. They refused as the manager wasn't in and couldn't authorise it and anyway I had my food! Despite giving them a chance and asking them to call or leave a note for the manager to call me or authorise a refund neither have happened now in 48hours. Hence this review. I am totally disappointed in the service provided and disgusted in the lies I was told, the fraudulent actions in updating the just eat app and lack of care by the management. They have lost out family as customers and I will be ensuring as many people know their attitude as I can. Just eat were also not interested.

Tried the takeaway for the first time today. The food was very unappetising and ended up wasting most of it as it was not like what was being advertised on the menu. Ordered a chow mein but probably one of the least appetising ones i've ever tried. Will be trying a different takeaway next time.

Realmente buena comida. Tuvimos una buena selección ya que éramos 11 de nosotros. Recomendaría el pollo de Szechuan.Fuimos para una colección que se suponía que era de 20 minutos, pero se cambió a 35 una vez que se aceptó la orden. Pero llegamos a la comida para llevar 35 minutos una vez que el pedido fue aceptado, como nos dijeron, y tuvimos que esperar otros 15 minutos.Nos dan galletas adicionales de gambas y 2 latas de coca cola como disculpa por la espera.

Was a little bit peckish this afternoon and really fancied a cheeky chinese, moderateraly rapid delivery of the food items. Taste was nice. I enjoyed my soup, my skewers, and the delivery man...

Esta fue la primera vez que pedimos desde aquí - la comida tardó 2 horas en llegar (una hora más tarde que el sitio web de solo comer sugerido), y cuando llegó fue apenas comestible. Pedimos un pollo al curry, arroz frito especial, bolas de gambas y crujiente carne de chile. Todo estaba horriblemente grasiento, el arroz especial frito estaba cubierto de salsa, y la carne de chile no tenía ningún sabor. Llamé al restaurante para quejarme, la excusa era que era una noche ocupada. Ofrecieron un descuento para la próxima vez (no habrá una próxima), pero cuando pedí un reembolso, dijeron que no podían hacer esto porque el gerente estaba ausente.

not worth the wait, chips were dry, curry sauce was gloopy and with no flavour, the rice was the only thing enjoyable. the prawn toast was dry, could use it as a door stop it was so heavy. I'm hungover and this just made me feel worse.

The food looked completely different, was cold, took ages and ages to arrive even with several contacts to just Eat and calls from the driver saying he knew where he was going (he eventually arrived with another person who he had needed to ask for directions and show him the way) Really bad experience

Very tasty prawn toasts a little greasy

Variety of dishes we had were tasty and not too greasy, the crispy chilli chicken was particularly good (would order again just for that one dish). Picked up the food and had to wait a bit but not for very long. Overall pretty good.

All together the food was satisfactory ! The chicken balls were fantastic ! Very moist and full of flavour! However the green Thai curry was a disappointment( apart from the sauce and the pork) , the chicken used in the curry tasted like chewing gum and nothing like chicken and it lacked taste! i would definitely improve this ! Moving on to the prawn toasts, they where excellent not only did they look nice (with a shiny and glossy batter ) but they also tasted insanely good !! ooo and lets not forget about the egg fried rice , it was perfectly cooked ! I would definitely recommend the Royal dragon to anyone!!! Needs improvement on the chicken used in the Thai curry and the chow mein along with the delivery time it was 1 hour and my belly was very hungry but thats only for those hungry people out there😉🙃

Probably the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Rice was dry,was a funny colour and had burnt black bits in it.Also the batter on the sweet and sour pork balls was terrible

after ordering my food it took an hour to expect delivery, eventually an hour after this I got my food with no apologies or explanation. and the food was not worth waiting for. defiantly not ordering from here again.

I used to order my food from this takeaway but this time was not a good choice. It’s my first time eating salt & pepper squid that has soup in it and the honey glazed pork was watery too! A bit disappointing. We ate it out of hunger but was not satisfied at all :(

Food delivered 30mins earlier, boiling hot. (Probably cause I live very close). Fried noodles tasty, chicken with cashew nuts lacked a bit of spices and was a bit watery in taste. Some of the Bamboo shoots were hard to chew.

Terrible food, we are a family of 5 so you can imagine the cost and then for it to turn out to be inedible is appalling. We had to throw it all away chicken was uncooked pink and gooey rice burnt chips burnt sauce bland and watery. Do not waste your money only tried this as are usual (peking chef) was closed never again.

Food arrived 40 minutes early which we didn't see as a bad thing at all. The restaurant send the wrong order, we called them and they said it was our fault. asked for an exchange and was told "manager says no"! Complained to Just Eat and 40 mins later they called us back and offered us an exchange if we went to the shop. We are a family of 6 and by this point had already ordered from somewhere else as the rest of the food sent was majorly substandard anyway. Would NEVER order from here again. Be warned. Rude. Service and awful food, that's if they get your order correct at all. Just eat weren't helpful either.

After moving out of central Bristol 2 years ago, we have struggled to find a decent Chinese that delivers. We had Chicken balls, dumplings, chow mein, won tons and Kung po king prawns. All excellent although the king prawns had been deep fried so have probably been in the sauce too long as they were too soggy for our liking. Flavours were excellent and got a bag of prawn crackers thrown in. Will definitely order again

Never have I had such a yummy (Chinese) mushroom curry. Having asked that there be no peas in the dish, I was expecting the standard mushrooms & onions in the sauce. Instead, I got mushrooms, onions & red & green peppers. All cooked perfectly for my taste (still very crunchy). The sauce itself, was darker & spicier then 'normal' too. Highly recommend this dish. The mushroom fried rice (also, without peas as per request), was also delicious. Delivery person was very polite & friendly too. All round good experience. Highly recommended by me. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Pad Thai tasted nothing like pad Thai, fish cakes were over cooked and tasted like they had been microwaved. Poor
