Unable to get into the shop last few visits as if the amount of smokers crowding around the entrance.tio disgusting as this visit he actually was stood on the shop smoking Reported to council and HSE aksi staff have no customer service skills or any idea of what they doing .

Brilliant food and Brilliant staff. Nothing was too much trouble when I rang them the same day asking for sandwiches and bits for Sat lunch for 6. The sweet treats especially went down well!

Absolutely amazing, love the cheese and tomato & tomato quiche, staff are all great especially linsey and sue always on the ball, fabulous bakery, my hubby loves the foot long sausage rolls. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Catered a buffet for my son's wedding . The food was amazing fresh tasty plenty of variety. Delivered on time . very good value for money would highly recommend.

I haven't tried eveything but the stone bun was alright, could be better, could be worse.

Fantastic bakery and the staff their are amazing. I couldn't believe the high quality and very reasonable prices of the food. They even sell traditional Cornish Pasties. Everything aside from the pasties is made fresh on site. Yummy.

The rocky road was big enough for 2. I was disappointed with my cheese & onion roll but will return. I had a cappuccino also which was nice so yes would recommend

Great bakery, the food they bake is amazing my husband loves the tikka salad sandwiches, all fresh n staff are so friendly, been in today had a good chat with the owner I think, n a customer about tattoos, all 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for me and the hubby x

Having lived in thorngumbald for 10yrs i always pass this shop and decided i would try the food. Im so glad i did. What fantastic salads, sausage rolls and even slushes. Friendly staff and generous amounts. 10/10 from me and the 2 girls.

Lovely baked potatoes with a good range of fillings and, although I can't eat them myself (GF) the baked goods look delicious- I can barely resist them. Service is always pleasant, and portions generous. Sometimes there's a bit of a queue, but this just shows how good the Rolling Pin is. Can't wait for them to reopen.

THis is a bakery, with take-away sandwiches etc. The lunchtime trade is brisk, so don't delay! Very limited seating outside. Lovely baked goods, including baked potatoes, with everything made on the premises. Friendly service .It's the sort of place which delivers more than it promises, and everything tastes even better than it looks.

I have visited the Rolling pin twice a week for the last 2 years. The staff are friendly but the Tuesday lady is special . Brilliant choice lovely sandwiches and pastrys good choice and all fresh dailey. Thank you for your service for the past two years your pleasant experience and happy faces I.ll miss you all xxx

Rolling pin used to have the best mini sausage rolls I've ever had, I'd buy a mad amount each time I went in, but ever since they changed owners or whatever happened they've been awful, I don't know what they've done but its not good, bring back the old sausage rolls! Other things are alright.

Just been and bought quiche salad as was craving salad...it was tasty satisfying and a joy to eat.. Well done

I used to be gaunt & very thin until I discovered the rolling pin, I buy their pies & take them home & now I weigh 15 stone. 5 Stars! *****

Decent large sandwich. Fairly cheap so can't complain. Bit of a nightmare for parking but that's not the shops fault

I can only say that this place is a hidden gem. The food is really good value for money, very clean and organised, constant stream of people in and out of the place... I honestly wanted one of everything on show. Highly recommend if you are in the area. I also found out that they are supplying the catering for events too.

We order at least once a week for here for our office, food is good depending on what you like! Delivery is always on time or early which is great. Staff are always very friendly

Must have put on loads of weight since the new owners took over, have to pop in every time I go into Hedon. My husband is addicted to the sausage rolls and my favourites are the maids of honour...they put “chain” bakeries to shame. The pulled pork pasties that have been on specials a couple of times are to die for. A lovely place with friendly staff and the best bakers.

I asked for a crab mayo sandwich but when I got it home it was a crab stick and mayo, and not a lot of it. The filling was sparse to say the least. I also asked for a vanilla slice which ended up being just thick custard That ended up in the bin. I won't be going again

popped in as passing through Hedon,looked inviting from the outside with all the signs and tables and chairs giving almost french cafe look. Upon entry was friendly greeted by both ladies and the chef who where all chatty and offered suggestions, in the end settled for the freshly baked and made on the premises Custard slice, bought quite a number of different fresh bakes, and all very yummy. Pleasing to see they had a card machine too,keep up the great work, and see you soon

Wow what can I say. What a gem this is to Hedon. We travel from Cottingham just to buy our favourite treats . Dan and Craig have done an amazing job along with Lynsey! Lots of traditional cakes and desserts as well as sandwiches and pastries! Highly recommend!!

Moving up to Hedon soon so had to go up for a visit. The little town centre is lovely and we found this little deli on our travels. The girls were really pleasant and the sandwiches we ordered were amazing. The egg mayo with salad was so tasty I could of eaten another one !! Once settled in I'll deffo be going back for a treat a few times a week .

Enjoyed the ploughman's Special Box! Fantastic value, delicious food, Laura was very helpful. Definitely will be returning, when passing!

Fantastic food. I always visit here for lunch, the Paninnis are lovely and also the salad boxes too. The tray bakes and cakes are delicious oooo and the Cranberry and Stuffing Sausage rolls are lush!! I could go on!! Very friendly staff too and always greeted with a smile. 😆

I've just called the shop to complain but they're now closed. I'm putting a review on here to vent my disgust. I bought several items for tea and childrens pack lunch tomorrow. I have to say the Bakewell Tart is the absolute worst I've ever come across. Two mould patches, which I passed off to the kids as jam seeping through the top! Discovered it wasn't jam! Dry, tasteless with barely a scrape of jam on the hard base. As if that wasn't bad enough the first mouthful I crunched not only hard inedible pastry but also a mouthful of eggshell! The kids spat it in the bin, so did I. Shame on you, it definitely wasn't made today or even yesterday. I'm still picking eggshell out of my teeth. Feeling pretty queasy! I took a picture but unfortunately can't post on here.
