The Roebuck Tavern and Kitchen in Sheffield

Claramente no puedo pagar la factura de gas porque nunca han visto la calefacción, es absolutamente errático allí, necesito actualizar el más grande también no hay muchas opciones en mi opinión

Gran variedad de cervezas. Pedí el pastel de pescado que era enorme y era fantástico, lleno de sabor. Mi hija tenía hamburguesa y patatas fritas que disfrutó mucho. Personal muy amable 👍

Bonito pub y sé que es un pub en el centro de la ciudad, pero £ 14. 40 por 2 pintas de aceite Beaverton para el cuello. Puedes volver a subirme los pantalones. Fue en 3 lugares y este fue el más caro.

El peor servicio que he experimentado en Sheffield. Honestamente, no pierda su tiempo o dinero en este lugar. El personal es una broma. Este lugar solía ser un lugar decente. ¡No es lo que solía ser!

Fui a almorzar el domingo. Pregunté qué carne era. Carne o pollo. Pregunté si podíamos tener algo de ambos. Me dijeron que no, que tenía carne, que mi señora tenía pollo. Nos sentamos y notamos en el menú que si ordenabas dos almuerzos de domingo, recibías una botella de vino gratis. Le pregunté a un miembro del personal, me dijeron porque no había pedido cuando pedí la cena que no podía tener. Ridiculous. La comida vino sin una sonrisa. La carne era tan dura, que me ofreció afuera. El pollo fue a casa por el perro. Puré, verduras, pudín Yorkshire. No volveremos...

Llegamos tarde para la comida sin reserva como una fiesta de 10 personas inseguros si nos servirían comida o no debido a no reservar, sin embargo, nos sirvieron la comida y la comida era excelente. No estábamos seguros a tiempo y cuántas personas vendrían, por lo tanto, por qué no reservamos en ningún lugar, pero visitamos después de una graduación de los miembros de la familia y solo queríamos un lugar agradable para comer fuera. El personal del bar era genial y muy amable, sin embargo, el jefe no tanto cuando le preguntamos si podíamos pedir comida para una mesa de 10. Habríamos entendido que nos rechazaran por comida sin reserva 30 minutos antes de que dejaran de servir y estábamos agradecidos de que nos atendieran. Gracias al personal del bar / camareros, en particular el hombre con barba! Y por la comida fantástica!

Personal encantador, gran servicio, buena gama de cervezas pero la comida muy mediocre. Suficientemente agradable entorno pero la comida decepcionante, esp las patatas fritas (sabor raro, robusto) y salsa horrible (pendejoso, grumoso, no muy caliente). El pescado era agradable.

Went for date night with my partner. No complaints about the beer and wine and the food is excellent. I had the steak and ale pie and my partner had the hunters chicken. Both were delicious.

Ordered Fish and chips, found the fish on the dry side, when i went over to the bar to menion it all i got was an apology and nothing else.

Kids! Can’t go in after 18:30 with kids. Walked into an empty pub to be turned away because of been with my children age 16 & 13. Only wanted a drink before going for a meal.

I dont normally write bad reviews but! Went in for a bite to eat with the family and unfortunately had to deal with the most miserable individual i have ever met, from the moment i tried to order 3 meals and 3 drinks she was obnoxious, everything i asked for she seemed to take as a personal insult! One of the meals came which was incorrect which was initially taken away then brought back as it was my fault she incorrectly took the order! She then stood there arguing waving the food around and threw it on the table. To which she marched back to the bar where i had to follow to continue the argument! What an obnoxious little individual! The food wasnt that good anyway! Avoid at all costs!

Whats happened to the nice food here ? As a frequent visitor here I came with 3 friends for food tonight .The food was microwaved rubbish . I ordered the ‘ foot long ‘ sausage , chips and curry sauce . I got 7 chips a very chewy and dry ( not a foot long ) sausage and cold mushy peas which i sent back .I had to go to the bar again to ask where my onion rings were as they had been forgotten . My friends had frozen yorkshire puddings and chewy chicken 🤢. Certainly wont be eating here again . The bar staff are usually very polite but tonight they had a very ‘ Cant be bothered ‘ attitude. No sorry about your cold peas or sorry about your missed items . They never asked how the meal was either when they took the 1/2 full plates away.The pub was also very cold tonight .

Comfortable enough, poor beer. Our Sausage and mash on Yorkshire large but dull. As for "Home Made food "it tasted typical cheap pub food to me. Would not go back.

Extensive menu, however on the day I was there, no pork, or lamb, so limited as a coeliac to rump steak. Very efficient young staff, GF beer, and a good meal served promptly.

Pub hopping around this part of town when we chanced upon The Roebuck Tavern and what a great find. A great pub,lovely decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a great pub to chill out in. We were here on a Thursday night, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered at the bar and chose Blacksheep Brewery bitter, these were served in pristine condition, we grabbed a table were we settled back,sipped our bitters and took in the great pub we were in. My bitter was really good, a much underrated beer style in my opinion, when served iced cold as in this pub its a totally delicious and refreshing brew. We both really enjoyed our bitters in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to The Roebuck Tavern we had a great beer experience. The Roebuck Tavern is easy to locate along Charles Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Open from Midday. A great city centre pub,one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Went with some friends for lunch during the week and there was mixed reaction from the group. The burgers were well received, though the chunky chips could have been crisper. One of our party opted for the Barnsley chop that looked much smaller than anticipated though apparently tasted ok with great gravy. The tinned carrots unfortunately were cold even though they came mixed with the peas that weren't. Drinks prices were fine and bar staff helpful. would give it a second try.

Stopped here for a pre match drink! Plastic glasses because of the match. Friendly staff and friendly fellow customers. Didn't eat here but the food we see served looks very nice, and they had a reasonable priced menu .

So my first time coming here and I have to say it’s nicer than I’d have expected! I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet and it was perfect! Staff are very helpful and friendly And the please is clean, cheap and serves a range of pub grub... What more can a person ask for?

My husband and I stopped here after touring around Sheffield. I indulged in a local cider and a roast beef dinner with yorkshire pudding. Delicious!
