Very good! One of the items we ordered took quite a bit of time but one of the waiters gave us a free treat to apologize. As well the barista and waiter were very helpful with concerns about food allergies and cross contamination!

Very tasty food. Polite service and the lady behind the cash register who accurately recommends delicious French toast to everyone. Apart from these the pancakes and full British breakfast were also very good. I definitely recommend stopping here for a late breakfast, which by the way will last you all day.

Passing through London, very very good breakfast. We had an English breakfast, hearty and delicious! + a brownie, slightly warmed, super good! 2 hot drinks to accompany this, also very good! My hot girlfriend and I came here for breakfast, the women that served us was quite abrupt and pretty god Daym scary in the end. She spent a good 20 mins shouting at her staff in front of us all, were we worried we were going to be next. The food made by the staff downstairs was lovely but the coffee (that the lady made) was like molten lava, Ouchy.

What a great find, well worth a detour to visit. Lovely friendly service. Fabulous coffee, all topped off with a great breakfast for a very reasonable cost. Close enough to Victoria, without being in all the bustle and noise...... a sort of peaceful oasis. The full English breakfast had perfectly cooked poached eggs, nice sausages (slightly herby, with great flavour), turkey bacon which had me intrigued, but turned out to be a superb healthy addition, plus mushrooms, hash brown and baked beans, plus bread. Possibly sour dough? All cooked perfectly and quickly 😋 👌

I ate a hair in the full English breakfast on Dec 24, 2024. The restaurant's hygiene conditions are worrying. Although the waiter said it was just some kind of fiber (which isn't edible is it), he promptly took away the evidence and told me at reception that any refund would be impossible - as I had already eaten a lot (but who wants to eat something disgusting at the very last moment, who doesn't want to find out in the fist bite?). There was absolutely no apology as well, maybe it’s normal to happen here.

Great breakfast. You can have english breakfast or continental breakfast. I hade toast with eggs avocado and cucumber. Really delicious.

I came here with a group of 8 for a team lunch and we were all blown away by the choice of food, how delicious everything was and how friendly and welcoming the staff were. They have a range of fantastic mains and sides and you can mix and match, as well as loads of other things. The ambience in the cafe is really nice, we all want to come back again. Thank you Rochester Café for being so brilliant for our large group.

We had a breakfast/brunch here with a full English and some Benedict eggs. Food was very good and staff was nice. It was a bit chilly given that the door was kept wide open, but it was a nice experience anyway! Would recommend

We were two French people looking for a quiet and welcoming place where we could rest after long hours of walking and enjoy a good lunch. What a surprise to find this place where we were very kindly welcomed despite our English and our accent. A big thank you for this little moment of happiness. Mega delicious breakfast! Very fast service and great quality! Egg Benedict in many different variations, delicious smoothies and classic English breakfast😊 The baked goods looked excellent but unfortunately ran out of space, so definitely a reason to come back!

We entered this place through the annex because it started to rain. The food was very delicious and very large portions. Very good service. The lady was very nice and smiling all the time. I highly recommend this place.

Great little cafe just down the road from our hotel. Breakfast was cheaper than the hotel, & much better too. We were there most mornings of our stay. Definitely recommend it!

My favourite place to eat in Pimlico or Westminster. Today I had beef tagine with rice mixed with lentils and a beetroot salad. It made me feel good for the rest of the day. Food made with love Coffee is exceptional and this is how I discovered this cafe first. I like that they use special glass mugs that keep the hot drink warm for ages. I love their almond croissant too and pastels. The owner told me they always seek to use fresh organic ingredients with a healthy Mediterranean and North Africa emphasis. A lovely place to relax in.

The place looks really nice, and the food is okay, actually even more than okay! But the service was something unreal, I never experienced such a long wait. We had to order the same thing three times, at some point it started to be hilarious. There was also a massive ventilation issue as it was packed with smoke, I suppose coming from the kitchen. So we had our “breakfast experience” with open windows during winter. My suggestion is avoid this place.

We eww only staying 4 nights in London. Day 1 we discovered this hidden gem 5 minutes from our hotel and went every morning.

Order breskfast it takes more than 30 minute to ready in the mean while i had coffee and cake which i got right away and When the food arrive it was too late i almost missed my appointment leave the food halfway through..its really disappointed..

LOVE THIS CAFE! Aisha is incredible and took care of us every morning of our trip. It became our little local spot. Everything is delicious. Will definitely come again when we’re back in London!

I wanted a salad. Since the salad was a little oily, I asked for yogurt and paid 7 pounds for a small bowl of yogurt. I think I ate the most expensive yoghurt I've ever eaten! Service is also not brilliant

What no back bacon with the English breakfast? That was my initial thought, but I need not have been concerned. The sausages are the real star of the show, and everything was beautifully balanced, from the proper hash browns, to the perfectly poached eggs. Perfection!

Great service from Yaz as always, a cosy atmosphere which you can really relax in. I love the chicken n pesto/mozzarella sandwich, would definitely recommend!

We highly recommend this cafe, we ate very well (salty and sweet) and with good value for money!! The service was superb, and pleasant (even as French and not speaking much English)! With the added bonus of a warm atmosphere, it’s worth the detour! An ideal place to start your day in London! A hello from France, “it was really good!”

A nice cafe at first sight but as I went downstairs to the bathroom I saw a RAT running around in the kitchen. It's absolutely unacceptable

One of the worse breakfast ever. I came across this place because I went to do some blood tests to the clinic, which is opposite their shop. I was fastening so got there really hungry. I just wanted to have a nice time and relax since working life is always so stressful but little I knew that instead of relaxing I would have become even more stressed! First of all, the place stinks of fried food. The window was open so it was also a bit cold but it didn’t make any difference ( l had to wash my hair after going in as well as my clothes!). Second of all, the service is really terrible. We ordered and got our fist drink after 30 mins. I had to chase my drink, by the time my friend got their meal I was still waiting so they had to wait for me and look at me while eating my breakfast, which arrived after I chased it several times. My friend salad was very small and served in a huge plate ( see photo). They could have used a bowl, it would have looked nicer at least. Food quality is not great, it’s fried and burnt with no flavour: after I waited for almost an hour I also had to ask for salt! I complained to the manager and she offered a free drink as compensation, but we didn’t drink it as it was extremely hot and burnt my tongue. Awful experience.

Très agréable accueil dans un endroit cosy en dehors des sentiers battus. Des plats excellents et des prix raisonnables. Nous y sommes allés par hasard mais y retournerons en toute connaissance de cause.

Went for coffee with a friend, had two croissants that were quite dry and a pecan tart that we couldn’t finish. The service was quite good tho but probably not coming back :) also the place was filled with smoke coming from the kitchen downstairs

That was a gem of an omelette, super yummy looking pastries and sandwiches to die for. My black americano was very decent too. Do pay a visit but allow yourself a bit of time as food is made fresh to order and takes 🕰️

Would avoid. Gone downhill. Service very slow, had to send food back as was cold, and downstairs was very dirty. Many better options nearby, will not be returning.

This cafe is the best around! I am in London for a month and have come in here every day for the past week and I will continue to frequent this little gem daily for the next three weeks. The coffee and food are great, but the real stars of this wonderful place are the staff. During the week Ayesha takes care of everybody. She smiles, greets everyone, and manages multiple orders at once ensuring everyone is served well. She is knowledgeable about the menu and ensures everyone gets what they need. Ayesha is the type of employee that every cafe owner wishes they had, really superb customer service and she is such a good barista - she knows how to make a GREAT cup of coffee :)

Disaster. Me and my friend came to this cafe for a quick lunch and after seeing a few good reviews thought we would grab something to eat. First off, the staff were unfriendly & stand offish and when ordering our food, failed to let us know that practically half of the menu wasn’t available. After ordering our food, we waited over 45 minutes for some avocado & eggs on toast and eggs Benedict, when there was no other customers in there at this time? After waiting a while, we asked where our meal was & we got told they had ran out of hollandise sauce, but never mentioned this to us when were ordering? They were rude and unapologetic. Then after waiting 45 minutes, our meals came out, cold and with dirty cutlery!! The bacon that was ordered with our meal was turkey rashers, which we were not expecting! We didn’t get a single apology and there was no communication from the staff at all. Wouldn’t recommend!

Was looking for a quick grab-and-go coffee solution when I walked past The Rochester Cafe and ended up staying in for a coffee and a treat. Cute and cozy café, with nice seating outside and inside, great assortment of bakery treats and breakfast options and I really enjoyed my coffee and blueberry muffin! Wish I had had more time to have a proper breakfast but maybe next time.

Ambiente super süss passend zu London. Es ist eher eng und ab 10:00 Uhr voll. Der Service dauert, also Zeit mitbringen. Ansonsten alles gut. Kaffe war gut aber nicht der beste für den Preis.
