Our first time ordering from the Roasted Root and it was absolutely incredible.. we were in heaven! Such a variety of choices and generous portion sizes all cooked to a very high standard. We will certainly be ordering again in the near future and will be recommending to others!

Our meal was provided at a family party in Lustleigh Village Hall on the 11th February 2024 The food was stunning and totally unexpected at such an unusual venue. Piping hot, beautifully presented and more than enough to eat! An excellent effort - well done. Steve Gray

Amazing! My family get a roast delivered every week and I look forward to it all week. We had our Christmas lunch delivered too, no cooking, minimal washing up and the food is so delicious. I'm a veggie and have options to choose from each week (the parcels are my favourite). My stepdad loves the loyalty card as he can get a little something extra now and again.

On Christmas day we had the pleasure of receiving our chosen roasted root meals. There were four adults, 2 being vegans. The choice of menu was more than adequate, and the food delivered did not disappoint. Each adult in our party had chosen a 3 course option, which were delivered in recyclable cartons. There was ample food, all of which was hot, flavoursome and of top quality. Particular reference should be made to the ham hock starter, the turkey wrapped in bacon and the chef's creation of the toffee and pecan meringue roulade.

We ordered Christmas dinner to save having to cook 2 in 3 days for families. It was amazingly tasty and good portions, and put the one I made a couple of days later to shame. The millionaire mousse to top it off was a particular highlight for me but I can thoroughly recommend everything.

Enjoyed our first sunday roast dinner from The Roasted Root yesterday.The communication from them is excellent and the food was delicious and really enjoyable. Looking forward to our Christmas day roast in 2 weeks time

Another outstanding roast from The Roasted Root. I was in a food coma for hours after but it was well worth it. Tried their red cabbage for the first time (which is our favourite part of a roast), it lived up to our standards. I have never been a fan of hot fruit (apple pie ect) but the raspberry and peach crumble really drew me in, so glad we I had it. It was incredible and beautifully paired with the fresh custard. Another Sunday made amazing with one of your roast dinners, thanks!

This was my first time ordering from The Roasted Root after seeing a flyer on a notice board at work, but it definitely won’t be my last. Every mouthful was absolutely delicious and it was the perfect amount of food. I can’t recommend it highly enough and the fact there’s no washing up after having a roast dinner is the cherry on top! I will definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to try other sides and desserts. 10/10!!

Sublime! Such an excellent idea, we were holidaying in Torquay and just got fed up of hot dogs and ice creams but also not keen to spend ages knocking up a huge roast! Enter Roasted Root who delivered an exceptionally cooked roast for us, a symphony of flavours, we are talking way above carvery quality, each item cooked to perfection. Would definitely do something like this again, would even work for when we go camping! I just wish they were local to me as I know a few people living alone or simply unable to cook who would seriously benefit from this. Anyways, certainly worth trying it out and a big thank you to the Roasted Root team it was a real treat and when we do holiday again we shall be sure to order again too!

Absolutely delighted to have found this service for home delivery of a great Sunday roast! The food was delicious, delivered at the time requested, good portion size, excellent value for money.

I messaged the Roasted Root mainly to ask if they deliver to my area. On the off chance I asked if I could order for Sunday as it was past their deadline. They managed to fit me in and the customer service and ease of ordering are brilliant. The food arrived on time, piping hot and handed over with a smile. You really need to taste this for yourselves but the braised cabbage is gorgeous, roast potatoes crunchy with a fluffy inside and everything went together well and tasted delicious. I will definitely be ordering again. Thanks guys.

Forget the pubs or restaurants The Roasted Root do it better! Homely food but elevated, full of vegan and veggie options! this is my new go to for lazy Sundays! This is our first time having a Roasted Root roast with all the trimmings and we are soo impressed! The beef was so tender and juicy and the roast potatoes were some of the best we’ve ever had. We could taste how well thought out and how much effort went into each part. Couldn’t recommend Alex and Rosina enough, friendly and truly delicious!

Absolutely lovely food from this place. Meat was cooked to perfection Best cauliflower cheese I've had I'm a long time cheesy and not watery which made my day. Potatoes cooked perfect too! Plus a good amount of gravy! Hosts was very polite and accomodating and food came on time too! Higgly recommend this place for your roasts. Perfect portions too! X

I ordered a roast from Alex and Rosina today and was totally blown away. It was more delicious than any roast I’ve had in a restaurant or cooked myself!! We are vegan and my daughter has a peanut allergy - Rosina took lots of care when we ordered to make sure everything would be safe for her. It arrived on time, hot and all the sides separate so potatoes stayed crispy etc. And to top it all off - nothing to clear up!! Really not sure I’ll bother going to the effort of cooking a roast myself any time soon!!! 😁
