Worst fish & chips I’ve ever had! Service is rude & abrupt it’s overpriced & the food doesn’t taste fresh despite waiting 15 minutes for our food the chips were cold & clearly been reheated several times as we’re hard food was horrible no body in our group enjoyed it would not recommend or return long wait for stale food!

The new owners have ruined this place. Bad attitude and only take cash - which sounds dodgy. Small chips with two shrivelled sausages from the heated display cabinet would have been £7.80. With small chips quoted at £2.80, that makes each sausage £2.50! Don't even warrant 1 star

Always get freshly fried fish and chips which are excellent value Wide range of other menu items and really friendly service Love it

The worst place you can go , the staffs or he’s the owner idk is very rude , they don’t accept card, the price of fish and chip is 6.90£ on the board and they tell me 9.90£ , no ambience , no greetings, no thank you, imagine you have to pay for ketchup and mayonnaise . The fish and chips was the worst I ever ate , and I am a pretty big fan of it . Absolutely don’t recommend neither delivery nor eat in . They even get upset when I tell them that I wanna eAt in and start talking in their language which I know they were talking about me . Please don’t waste your precious money by going there, the other reviews saying it’s a good place are just their families commenting to have higher star ratings.

I’ve been going to this place since I was a child. The fish and chips are perfect and the kababs are the best I’ve had in London and I’ve been to many fish and chip shops and kabab places in London. The owner is very friendly and knows everyone in the area. It’s also very clean. Highly recommend.

My partner and I and our grandchildren had much fun researching fish and chips in a 15 mile local radius,this (plaice) came out on top we felt what clinched was how sophisticated the fish and batter was prepared and cooked a definite gem ,!

Local chippy for Roehampton. It’s not my favourite chip shop by any means but it’s not bad Meat n chips or fish and chips are fine

They take your money and make you wait for ages to actually get the food, and in the end what you get is so horrible that you will throw away most of it, because it is literally inedible. I am not sure how they get their chips and their fish to a state where they are so dry you cannot chew them, but they manage. Perhaps keeping cooked chips for a long time and reheating them in the microwave? Mystery process, but the result tastes awful. We have tried a couple of times, thinking maybe we were just unlucky at the end of the day, but no, it is consistently bad.

I have had plenty of meals from here sometimes as a last resort if nearby places were shut and won't ever be coming back here again. The owner and alongside the other member of staff are extremely rude, as if they are doing you a favour by giving you kebabs and chips. I have spoken to the owner several times in a polite manner and he has been extremely rude so much so I cancelled my order and left. The kebabs are ones to avoid, whenever I have had them I always end up on the toilet so there is something dodgy going on here plus when requesting fresh chips to be given be prepared for an argument about costs and why you aren't allowed to have fresh chips unless the dried up overfryed chips are finished. Place is an absolute joke as such I have warned off my Colleagues and friends about this establishment until they learn what customer service really is and how to serve fresh food with at least a smile on their face rather than try extort you on the spot!

Reasonable fish and chips if you can put up with a rude and arrogant owner who has no idea how to treat customers! I won't be coming back as there are better ones around who also care about their customers.

Lovely food. Friendly staff as always. It's got to be the best around! Good how they offer kebabs too as saves you going elsewhere if collecting good for a giddy family like mine! Only downside is how sticky the benches are. Feel like I'm superglued to it when I took a seat to wait for my food.

Coming from Grimsby we are pretty hard to please when it comes to fish and chips, so didn't expect much. We couldn't have been more wrong. On entering we saw a very clean shop with bench style seating. The menu had just enough choice. The staff, especially the owner were friendly, courteous and efficient. We decided to eat in so placed our order of 2 x fish, chips and mushy peas, pie and chips and a sausage and chips all with bread buns. Along with 4 drinks it came to £25 which we thought reasonable. We were told to take a seat at which point a girl brought us a tub containing cutlery and napkins, then a plate with our buns on and condiments. There was just a long enough wait as the fish was cooked freshly. The fish, which was cod, was obviously fresh, white tender and perfectly cooked in the best batter I've ever had and the mushy peas were right up there too. The portions were plentiful and everybody enjoyed their meals. Other customers came in and it was good to see that this shop has it's regulars but also that every customer is treated with respect and like a friend. We are often in this area visiting my elderly mother in law and we will definitely be return customers.
