A regular diner at the Rib Room for almost ten years. I have enjoyed the hospitality, the excellent food, the attention to detail on All things and a consistently warm welcome.

Lovely place to chill in Knightbridge. Was taken there by a college. The place is spacious. The terrace not that big just can accommodate few chairs and tables is a bit crowded, is a smoking area... consider in UK you can’t smoke anymore in public places. The service was impeccable. Emily and Joseph were very polite and professional.The life Music played in the background was nice and soft

We went with 7 friends to celebrate my birthday and a friends. I have been here several tikes but for the others it was new. Simplify it could not have been better. We had pre drinks at the nice bar and then we were taken to a lovely table for 8. The layout of the restaurant is roomy, comfortable and perfect for eating. The menu had a fantastic choice. The set menu is also excellent value with great choice of food and first rate glass of champagne (or wine). However before we even started, the chef spoilt us with lovely canapés , followed by chef special plus home made warm different types of breads- simply brilliant. Everyone starters, mains, deserts were delicious. My friend and I were then very surprised to be presented with the most fantastic birthday cake - so delicious. Our drinks were fabulous. At the end we were given home made chocolates for end of meal and also to take home. We loved it and cannot thank Andrew , the Manager , the Chef, the waiters and all for the most wonderful experience . Thus is a unique restaurant in London/UK and it would be a disaster if it was to every close

I’ve visited several times recently when Abdel was in charge, and what a wonderful experience it was. From being warmly welcomed at the door to taking care of the order with great attention to detail, it was a wonderful dinner. Steak was done to perfection (medium well but not pink), carrots and mashed potato, and the crab and avocado salad with chopped avocado on the side. The food was excellent and served fast, nice atmosphere with live music! Not to mention that he cared to provide my favourite table. I’m grateful to Abdel and Peter who served on the evening, for their excellent service, as well as to Julia who is usually greeting guests at the reception.

El restaurante no estaba muy ocupado, pero esperamos casi 15 minutos antes de llegar a los menús. Luego otros quince minutos para hacer el pedido y luego media hora para el titular y tuvimos que llamar a los camareros muchas veces antes de recibir los platos principales. El Maitre D estaba hablando ruidosamente con una clienta y estaba de pie junto a su mesa durante toda nuestra cena, hablando en voz muy alta. Muy decepcionante para este lugar.

C'était un fantasme de jeunesse : retrouver le "RIB EYE ROAST" comme on se délectait le dimanche chez nos amis anglais ! D'où le choix de ce restaurant pas loin de notre excellent hotel COMO the HALKINRestaurant d'un grand hotel, le lieu est à la fois cosy et un peu vieillissant ! Le maître d'hôtel nous accompagne à notre table avec une attitude un peu bizarre : à la fois froide et directrice. Je n'ai pas été déçu du tout et la qualité de la viande était absolument extraordinaire avec une cuisson parfaite ! Ma femme a prise une sole, délicieuse, qu'elle n'a pu finir tellement celle-ci était grosse.Je ne sais pas pourquoi le maître d'hôtel avait l'air de plus en plus mécontent (on a peut-être fait quelque chose qui a déplu ?? - pourtant je lui disais "thank-you" chaque fois qu'il servait du vin !) et à la fin, cela en devenait franchement gênant !Il nous a peu gâche mal soirée, et c'est dommage car le reste était parfait

Sunday lunch was truly excellent in every way and no more that I would expect from The Rib Room staff.

Well appointed, friendly reception. The dining area is spacious but inviting with the table layout allowing for discreet conversation.

We had a great dinner once again at the Rib Room and were disappointed to hear it was closing in September as part of a refurbishment of the Carlton. We started with wild mushroom soup and salad with chicken Parmesan and cod for mains. Service great, food delicious, what more could you ask for?

We selected The Rib Room restaurant based on its outstanding reviews (its currently rated #132 out of London’s 18 thousand restaurants) and excellent traditional bill of fare. The quality of the service was impressive from the moment we arrived and throughout our meal. Absolutely first class. I had the Dover Sole and Sue and my son in law had the roast rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding.My daughter selected the roasted Gressingham duck breast. All of the dishes were both classic and great. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal at The Rib Room. Food was beyond perfection, especially the banana soufflé and excellent service that was friendly and attentive.

First visit and chose Sunday Roast with bottomless prosecco (£65), which was great value. Excellent food, sophisticated staff and fantastic ambience. I believe this Sunday Roast is one of the best in London.

Dined last night as a part of 6. This restaurant gives an outstanding level of service and food. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I can honestly say the service and food was absolutely faultless. Manager (Super) Mario has really managed to turn this restaurant around and with the amazing Sonia we had the most wonderful evening. A mix of soup, prawn cocktail and asparagus to start, followed by roast beef with yorkshire pudding and seabass, to banana shuffle, dark chocolate mousse and peanut parfait. The restaurant accommodated by dietary requirement of gluten free exceptionally well and we all had the most enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been going to this place for 30 years and I have rarely been disappointed. Quiet, stable, perfect service, perfect atmosphere and food. Nice environment. I could almost go every week to this place without any problem.

This is without doubt the best roast beef in London. Served in stunning surroundings by a team of helpful, well turned out staff.

This is a hidden gem in London Knightsbridge. Simplify love the food , service is brilliant and layout of the restaurant excellent. The waiting staff are exemplery and go out of their way to make our experience the best. The extra touches the restaurant gives makes this ultra special. My friends birthday was the best with absolute delicious cake . I cannot recommend highly enough . This is my choice for birthdays, business meetings, celebration, Christmas and to be honest any meal out . Please don’t destroy it !!

Nice dining room and really great staff. Starters one crab and one lobster were good with the Lobster dish standing out. The crab dish lacks flavour and feels a little stingy for the £16 price tag. Steaks were excellent and cooked really well, but chips were a little greasy which is a pity.

Excellent restaurant in Knightsbridge specialising in Steak , although my wife a lovely sea bass dish . Great ambiance, reminded my of a New York kinda place . Loved it , would definitely go back

I went this past weekend for a lovely meal at the restaurant. Te service and the meal were absolutely impeccable. A huge thank you to Abdel who looked after us, helped us decide on our order and personally prepared my stake tartar. An absolutely wonderful night!!

Very good restaurant with excellent service . Prices are reasonable for fine dining place, however, in the high range - which is expected for location and the ambience of the place .

I have been going to the Rib Room for nearly 30 years, and I hope to go there for another 30 years. Wonderful space; wonderful food; wonderful service.

We have visited this hotel on many occasions and love it. We've stayed in many other five star London hotels and sometimes the in-house dining can be a little bit disappointing. Not so with The Rib room, which is outstanding and well worth a visit whether you are staying in the hotel or just seeking a top quality dinner.

I went for Sunday set lunch menu, the place has a very lovely atmosphere. The prawn salad was phenomenal and well presented. The beef was has an enormous serving portion, cooked to order and perfectly juicy and tender which is not common with Sunday roasts. The sides were varying for me though, the potatoes were the best, the gravy was yummy but a bit runny for my liking, the veggies well sauté, the Yorkshire pudding was a bit of a let down as it is way too charred and toasted for my liking but you can tell the batter is excellent. Banana soufflé is just out of this world, perfectly baked and bursting with flavour!

The atmosphere was very posh- there was live jazz music and a singer. I had a delicious steak that was perfectly prepared. My husband said that his mushroom soup and ribeye were perfect. Our service was very good.

Stayed in the hotel for our 30th Wedding Anniversary with dinner in the Rib Room. Mario was fantastic, all the other staff were attentive, considerate and served us excellently. Food was sublime, with a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary.

We came back to the Rib Room to celebrate my husbands birthday. We choose the Sunday lunch menu which offered bottomless Prosecco and 3 course meal for £65 each. I had asked for specific table in the window which we were delighted was waiting for us on our arrival.

Recently visited the Rib Room to celebrate our anniversary. We was welcomed very kindly upon arrival & each of the staff that came over to our tables wished us a happy anniversary which was a lovely gestures as was the complimentary glass of Prosecco we were brought over.

Having visited this excellent restaurant on many occasions we decided this was the perfect venue to hold our family Christmas get together. Our room had an excellent sized round table which was perfect for 10 of us (Max 14). The Christmas lunch menu excellent at £65 per head including bottomless Prosecco (12-3) and a choice which included turkey as well as beef. All 10 of us loved the choice of menu , meal and drink. The Venue perfect. Service excellent. Location brilliant. We love this restaurant and now have added extra fans. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The name of this restaurant is somewhat misleading. The Rib Room makes it sound like a BBQ house, but its really a classy continental restaurant with an emphasis on steak, plus a specialty in prime rib. That is likely the origin of its name.

This restaurant is located 15 mins walk from Harrods, great place to have a very nice meal after a long day shopping. We went on the sat night around 9pm and the room is relatively quiet.

What to say , I was asked to put a comment on tripadvisor so here we go, absolutly friendly staff, abdel and Andre did a great job , wines where excellent also the bartender knows how to make his cocktails , is the food up to the pricing , that is another matter, for the prive you pay , I think not , but the attention of the staff, makes it worth ......I would say a 6/10 for the food and a 9/10 for the staff , pay them well , if you want to keep good revieuws....we had a good time there

We got married at this hotel a year ago so decided to dine here to mark the occasion. We had a lovely experience, the staff were extremely attentive especially Kerim and we enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was delicious, we had an issue with one of our main’s but this was rectified and removed from the cheque. We would return. Thank you.

We arrived at the restaurant on time for our 7.30pm reservation , we were served our main course two and a quarter hours later , after not even ordering a starter. After asking many times to taker order and then enquiring about food. No apology through out the whole night ref service , only apprx 10 tables. we were lucky the sweet only took one hour ! The only good factor was the foods was excellent. regretfully still paid 15pct service charge as did not wish to embarrass my overseas guests. Need to improve service dramatically and their manors

Sunday lunch with family. We had our little one with us and I have to say the service was first rate. From my call to confirm in advance that ok for baby to come, to the doormen helping us out the car, to the greeting at Rib Room reception, to all the staff who served us, everyone was friendly, helpful and could not do enough to make our visit relaxing and pleasurable.

He is well knowledgeable about the food and beverage, very cheerful and accommodating. A definite asset to your team.

Have been to this restaurant many times and the service has always been first class. This latest visit was no exception. From when we first arrived till when we left we were treated exceptionally well, the table was well presented, as always, the waitress was attentive, and friendly. The food could not be faulted, in presentation or equality, we both chose beef as and it just melted in our mouths. Lastly as it was our wedding aniversary as short notice they made the dessert a little special for us.

Got to say the crab starter has got to be the best I've tasted and nice big tender steak to follow staff were fantastic and really professional

We visited for our anniversary dinner and from the moment we were greeted we recieved great service. Our waiter was mainly Andrei J. He was very attentive and well mannered. He gave me his recommendation on the best steak and I was very satisfied. Lovely evening, only slight downside was a different waiter automatically poured our peppercorn sauce all over our steaks and my wife would of rather had the sauce on the side.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very special. The food was divine and the service impeccable. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Congratulations to the front of house staff and the chefs and their team. If you want a memorable evening go to the Rib Room at the Carlton Towers.

My partner and I visited the rib room after shopping to have a glass of wine and relax. We ordered a bottle of white that they did not have in stock, and the service was excellent as the waiter Andrei gave us three different wines to try. He is extremly friendly and possesses a very professional attitude. They really made an effort to make us feel welcome, even though they did not have what we wanted, making the evening quite pleasant.

Cocktails wonderful. Crab starter was just superb as was my steak . Cooked to perfection. Baked alaska was the perfect dessert. Staff were excellent. Nothing too much trouble. We would definately recommend.

I went there to celebrate my birthday! The dinner and the service was spectacular! I really love their sirloin steak,cooked to perfection. The wonderful waiter Mindy really looked after us so well. His skills and humour is amazing!

Rara vez escribir una crítica (y ya muy largas y eso) pero en esta ocasión donde todas las casillas están marcadas, Estoy obligado a hacerlo. Hice una cena para celebrar el cumpleaños de mis dos colegas. Junto con seleccionados panes recién horneados, suave parfait de hígado de pato con compota de ruibarbo y brioche tostado era como entrante. La textura, sabor y cremoso de ternera son palatably prestadas palabras orgásmica (de mi colega). Confía en mí, he probado uno similar en otros restaurantes de reputación, pero no tan bueno como este. Para los platos principales, elegí el filete de atún salmón con puerro, cornish canelones de alcachofas y patatas baby baby. La langosta rociado sobre el salmón hizo este plato. Simplemente deliciosa. Para el postre, tenía el clásico cheesecake Horneado de Nueva York. Es extra mermeladas y perfecta para disfrutar junto con bayas frescas mezcladas y berry. Los dos cumpleaños celebrators recibido velas extra tartas con copas de champaña. Encima de eso, se sirven unos porciones de tartas de limón macarrones mezclados, y chocolates (sin mencionar reponiendo pan fresco). Nos mimaron. El servicio es impecable, el Rib Room gracias al siempre atento duo, Mindy y Mellissa. Una cosa divertida sobre el Rib Room es que tome la presentación de la comida de verdad. La visualización de comida es consistentemente visualmente atractiva. Un ambiente perfecto, comida de calidad, buena ubicación, buen servicio y a un precio razonable, en general, fue una fantástica experiencia y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Volveré seguro.
