Great value for money. Basic rooms. Clean. Friendly helpful staff.

Great place! Stayed while at Bike Park Wales. Myfanwy went above and beyond to make my stay as welcoming as possible. Hard to find hotel/pub like this these days and great value for money with breakfast included. Dinner was lovely also, and all in still so much cheaper than any other hotels nearby which offer much less. Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near the Bike Park. The pub has great atmosphere and really cozy. Thank you Rhymney House!

Other then rooms a bit dated can't fault this place beds was comfortable and clean so for as cheap as the cost you can't find any where better then this place the lady running it cooked a 1st class breakfast every day and what you have on offer is not set you can pick and choose will be back next time I am up this way

Lovely atmosphere in the public bar, Guinness was perfect, Bar staff very helpful. Food was good , and locals friendly. Rooms a little dated but all In all a pleasant stay. Thank you .

My husband and I, spent 3 nights in this hotel. The rooms were great and bed was extremely comfortable. As for the service from Tony and the team Were extremely awesome, polite and they all went that extra mile to make our stay wonderful. We will definitely go back again. The food was on point. Ann whom cooked all the food , she cooked with her heart. Everything we ordered was delicious. Thank you to you all. Warm wishes Maria and Ronnie Haywood.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. Ideal cheap location for Bike Park Wales

Everything about this place seemed like from another century. The matresses were very uncomfortable, we only had one towel for two people and no shampoo or anything. Staff was not very welcoming. It was also very loud, I had to sleep with the neighbours snoring and woke up from someone elses use of the bathroom. Breakfast was fine and we could park right by the house. But all in all it wasn't our most pleasant stay.
