Service was 10/10, food was magnificent!

Food was excellent and the young man who served us today was so polite and chatty and made us smile.

Had a Pitstop here this afternoon, cuppa and the most delicious piece of apricot and pistachio cake Evvvvvverer !!! The service was fab, Sean was attentive, friendly and nothing was to much trouble for him, great sense of humour as well, Thanks ☺️

Wasn't expecting it to be open as early as it was! Good service from Shaun, good food and price was right. Great quick pit stop, give it a try.

I've visited this restaurant a number of times and have normally enjoyed the food there, but on the last two occasions when I asked for my normal fare (cod bites and chips) I was informed that the chunky chips that are normally served with this meal were unavailable, the time of the last visit was 12 midday. So was the parent company, Harry Ramsdans, saying they'd been extremely busy that morning, a time that breakfast is normally served, that they'd sold all the chunky chips and only fries. Very disappointed and will not return.

We left with full hearts and happy stomachs—this place is a gem! 😊

Love coming to this place for a quick bite. Always very clean and food always looks and tastes great. Not too noisy like some restaurants and has attentive staff. Shaun in particular is very friendly and always asks about our day which is nice 🙂

Staff pleasant, and keen to serve food up till closing time. Only had a cup of tea and a coffee which were alright.

Upon entering I was greeted at the till by a lady eating. As I was ordering I couldn't understand what she was saying as she was still eating. Turned out they had no beans but did offer to swap the item. When my hot chocolate arrived it just tasted of hot water. I was told it needed stirring. This didn't help. My food arrived and the bacon was cold and very oily. The mushrooms were also stone cold. The sausage hash browns and toast were nice. The restaurant had food left on the tables that hadn't been cleaned up. I noticed 2 females behind the counter eating and reading a magazine chatting. A male was serving people and making drinks. Over all very disappointed. Could be a really nice place and well priced.

Enjoyed a lovely cuppa with scones, jam and cream. Very nice. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered latte and it tasted nothing like latte was very very strong and not very nice Food and service are average but price is average too . On both occasions we've visited toilets were dirty .

Popped in for a quick lunch while waiting for a car service. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the fish & chips (better than we've paid twice the price for in 'restaurants')

Lovely friendly staff, but let down by food selection. This is not part of Sainsbury's & its not Sainsbury's quality food either; also you cant eat sarnies etc bought in the Sainsbury's store in there (we saw the staff ask someone to leave who was doing that) We just had two lattes and they were not very nice unfortunately

Fairly good cafe, advertising as a food hub doing Ed's Easy Diner and Harry Ramsden food, however the decor is very bland and doesn't look anything like Ed's or Harry's restaurants, so it's hard to believe it's the same ingredients, but it maybe....

It's not as good as when it first opened, and a bit pricey but good cafe.

Lovely hot food, well cooked, very good coffee. I found myself a nice quiet corner,left undisturbed for some peace for an hour. Nice relaxing friendly atmosphere, would definitely recommend for at least a coffee and a cake..

Limited menu for a supermarket cafe, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We always enjoy a coffee because the staff are very friendly especially Adam and understand our requirements. The staff always ask how we are and Adam seems to be a great leader and is a credit to the restaurant.

very clinical atmosphere but the breakfast was good especially the smoked streaky bacon , really nice change.

Went in today for a quick coffee and was surprised by how nice the service was. Enija helped me choose the best roast for my coffee, and even suggested a cake that would pair perfectly with. Will definitely come back!

I took my 85 Yr old mother to Sainsbury's to get a gift and we stopped for a cup of tea. I didn't realise it was no longer owned by Sainsbury's and you couldn't receive Nectar Points on your purchase (1st disappointment) We ordered 2 teas and went to sit down. There were 3 Staff working and not many in as it was 2.30pm on a Wed. All empty tables had trays, dirty cups etc waiting to be moved. I moved a tray on to another table so we could sit down. When our drinks arrived, they were put on the dirty table and only when I asked did the girl make any effort to clean it. By sweeping it on to the floor with her hand!! Hygiene is clearly not a priority! My mother was given a cup of tea in a HUGE latte mug, and she said she would not be able to lift it. The gentleman did get her smaller mug, but no effort was made to clean the table. I think you really need to review your practices if you want people to use your service. I for certain will not spend another penny in your restaurant. Absolutely disgusting!! Mrs Anne Hinton.

Nice, quiet and friendly. Food is cooked well. Plates on the small side. When you have fish, they stack it precariously on top of chips. It's like a game of Jenga. Can I slide some chips out from underneath, without fish falling off?

Not the best, not the cheapest either. But for an instore cafe it's not bad. Didn't get what we ordered, but what we got was OK... but then you can seldom go wrong with toast!! Would have liked the eggs too though 😒

Improving since opening a few weeks ago. Cannot understand why they do not hand over drinks at the counter as this slows service considerably. Only use for drinks

I’ve just came into sainburys cafe with family to get something to eat before we do some shopping, there was one staff member that was serving on the till and she had no clue what she was doing & got a very simple order wrong, my mum ordered two slices of toast with two eggs on top, and she received two lots of egg sandwiches! Also the tables were dirty when it wasn’t busy, I’m not one to complain as I work in a busy coffee shop myself! The service definitely needs to be improved with customer service training! Thanks

Staff team are very efficient, professional, friendly and work hard to get your drinks and food to you quickly. And they smile, it's not often that you see that in an eatery. Well done to the team and we even saw the manager helping clear up tables and bring food out the customers. That's a great sign of a decent place to work.

Very poor customer service by the Manager. Item ordered and paid for not available, poor resolution that took a long time to resolve. Manager more interested in chatting than helping customers. Will not be returning.
