Premier Inn Coventry East (M6,Jct2) hotel in Coventry

Quite rudimentary highway hotel. But the two main things were there - quiet and a very good bed.

clean, tidy with friendly staff, good location for motorway access. went for a nap and slept 10 hours so very comfortable !

Lovely basic room with everything that you need. I was visiting a friend and decided to book a hotel room for convenience. Premier inn had a good offer on and I only paid £48 for a double room (which seemed like it was quad as I got a double bed and also a sofa bed) it had everything that I needed. However the only issue was I could hear customers coming in and out of there rooms at night. The walls are also thin so I could hear people using there Bathroom, opening taps and flushing toilets. I was exhausted after a day of exploring and wanted some rest. The mattress was so comfy and I got 5-6 hrs of sleep. Unfortunately the cleaners come around 7am and you can hear them with there trolleys, checkout isn't until 12pm and I'm sure check in is at 3pm so maybe they can hold on with the cleaning until maybe 10-11am? The hotel is located in a quiet area but the cinema, bowling alley, food places (pizza hut, taco bell, and others) are very close by. There is also a restaurant downstairs and you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner but will have to pay for it. I didn't make use of this as I had other plans. I would book again if I needed to but I know the price will go up again to usual premier inn prices in April onwards.

Standard premier inn location so excellent staff, nice comfy rooms and reasonable prices.

Typical of Premier Inn standards. The staff were brilliant and really friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Had a great nights sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. The breakfast was spot on. Great break.

This Premier Inn is way way over due for a refurbished. The rooms are very tiered to say the least. It even still has small televisions the size of a laptop computer. This is not acceptable in this day and age. They are still charging full price. I emailed the day before I was due to check in to say that the restaurant next door was closed. On arrival it was clear to see that it has been closed for months. No doubt a victim of the resent restaurant sell off.

No breakfast available as restaurant is shut. Had to use sister hotel a few miles away, which is up for sale. Not the best of the brand.

Excellent location Excellent value for money on price Plenty of options with Brwers Fayre and nearby shops.(costa,nandos and a Tesco nextdoor) Rooms were immaculate Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking nearby.

I see someone has heaped praise on the staff here. I have to second that. What absolutely fantastic staff work here Made a stressful hospital emergency visit slot easier. Went above and beyond customer service. Had a 7 year old who hadn't slept in over 24 hours, my wife and I also up for sane period. Just my chance we came across this hotel after being rudely rejected at holiday inn 10 mins earlier Google didn't show premier inn on maps or local search and just thought drive to Tesco and saw a sign for premier inn and thought tsneba chance (Shane in Google). The mist helpful and welcoming business I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Let us check in 4 hours earlier to get some restm count do enough to help us and I get the impression they treat every customer the Dane way. It was an added bonus that the rooms were clean and welcoming (I say rooms as they let us use one room for 4 hours while the room we required was available). All I will add now that whenever we need to travel anywhere the first place I will look to book will be with premier inn. If the rest of there staff are half as good as they are here it will be money well spent. Fantastic.

Lovely place to sleep could do with being updated as the TV was small not faraway.

Great typical premier inn clean room and a very comfortable bed

The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. Parking was ideal as well. The location worked for me really well as it's not far from the M6, and I was driving all the way down from Glasgow. The last thing I wanted was to weave my way into a city. The food was good as well, with a nice dinner before I went out (I had a burger and chips), and the unlimited breakfast in the morning was just what I needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating, with a few laughs had at the bar as well. I had to request an iron and ironing board, which came promptly. Good shower as well. Would certainly stay again, at just £53 for the night. Great deal.
