Had a great meal at Pepe's Piri Piri! The food was really good and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely go again.

Oh no! That’s so frustrating — especially when you’re just trying to enjoy a meal or a drink. It’s one thing for a place to go digital with their menu, but another for the staff to be rude about it..No menu 😂

Tighest pepes store I've been too - they literally count the napkins they give you and sauce - every other pepes is generous and will give you like 2-3 complementary sauces per meal. The store is always freezing cold like no heating is ever on. Quality of food is okay at best - usually mildly warm rather than pipping hot which i find bizarre as its only this pepes branch this happens. The quality here is questionable

The owner of this restraunt. Offer students part time job for 5 pound an hour which is illegal but before doing that 5 pound an hour job the owner ask them to do 5 days unpaid so called training. Then he fires them. Stay away from here guys. These people don’t do good with unfortunate foreign students who need just job to survive to pay their rent.

Went in with my girlfriend and she ordered just a fried chicken burger. There was 1 table waiting for food and it was not busy at all. After nearly 15 minutes of watching about 10 staff members just stand and talk in the kitchen, we asked how much longer it would take, to which they replied “a few more minutes”. We had a bus to catch so this wasn’t ideal. A few more minutes went by and we asked again to which they replied “5-7 minutes” at which point we left without a refund or the food. Poor slow service.

An employee confirmed that the Pepe’s in Coventry don’t deliver. Only collections. In other cities, they’ve been great. But not having that option is a bit sad. 🥲

You tried ordering the food on the phone but they dont take accept that? tried it online no way to place it had to wait an hour for portions of peri peri wings

Food is tasty, eventhough it is often very busy the service is great. Sometimes there is a wait but worth it once the food is ready.

I like this place but today I found a chicken piece in my Paneer Nachos (Veg) . I am okay because I am not a vegan or vegetarian. I am hoping they be more careful with their orders.

This Pepes restaurant is a banger I would recommend in Coventry

Super slow service. Every time I have been, food was pretty decent. All cooked well and flavoursome. Just way way too slow even when I only ordered small amounts or when the store wasn’t super busy. Only go when you have time to spend as it it’s not a place for “fast food”

The rice box tastes terrible, probably because they’re warming the rice in paper covers in the microwave. There must be something wrong with either the rice or the microwave, as both the smell and the taste are off. Rice Box used to be fantastic; I wish they would go back to their previous quality. Until then, I’ll be skipping the peri fries, tango, and rice box. I see everyone else enjoying it, but it’s just revolting to me.

This place is sick the food there is so nice 😋 I've ate there twice while at work in Coventry recommended 👌🏾 highly. Beats burger and sauce next door by a 10000 miles food cooked fresh to order and all comes piping hot not reheated chips or wings I mean cooked fresh. U got to try the burger 🍔 there I'm so looking forward to work in Coventry soon as I will be Back here no probs 😊 national express coach driver.

Their food is good. But they have PATHETIC customer service. The guy on till literally don't know how to deal with customers when they complain.

I really enjoy the peri chicken rice and Chicken tasca and fries from Pepes. Presented and cooked just right. I Love the fact i can track all my macros on their website too! The manager Sham is super helpful and made sure my food was delivered correctly and piping hot before me exiting the shop. Highly recommend!

Me and my wife went to pepes we loved pepes food always our best restaurant for food ....but today I ordered 2 panerr rice and quarter chicken and peri peri friesand we asked for mayos with it then the one Indian lady on counter she said you have to pay for 2mayos then I said I always take with rice mayos free.....after she put 2 mayos soo aggressively on the counter

I've realised long time ago that correct training, correct staff/workers very important. It can make all the difference in food quality and service between bad, mediocre and good. As any franchise you expect the same flavours in whichever branch you go to. Unfortunately this wasn't the case here. I've tried other branches in Birmingham which was excellent. Here the food was average. And customer service awful. Instead of recommending, the young chap who served me disuadded me from ordering my original choices of lamb and beef burgers, and made me order the chicken alternatives. I was told that the lamb and beef will take long time and chicken would be quicker, I didnt mind waiting. But my server insisted that it will take too long more than 40mins? I was surprised as it wasn't really that busy. Which made me think and question why he was trying to dissuade me. Anyways I ordered the alternatives which came out pretty quick, the tastes and quality was ok, nothing special for its high price. Which I can understand rising costs of everything and being located in city centre but atleast the quality should match. Service should also be good, doesn't take much to smile and be courteous.

XL chicken burger what a joke very bad presentation only cabbage 🥬 and stale hard chicken in it with white buns in 5 pound just add some veggies like tomato and onion at least it's the worst burger I ever had here. Never buying again, first and last time. I can't even think to give you one Star.

Great food and very reasonable. However very unhygienic staff. The lady at the till does cleaning, changes the bin but does not even clean her hand after or before serving the food. Very poor hygine standards. Also the toilet have been closed since ages.

There is this lady who works here its, 22nd January, 2024 at 10 pm. (It will be easy for the management to know who that lady was on shift). She surely needs to learn about customer service, when I asked her a question, she didn’t even respond and pointing fingures on the wall, asked her suggestions, says “I don’t know, check there”. She is yawning on my face and biting nails, I think pepe peri peri’s staff doesn’t know what hospitality is & she doesn’t speak english. I think she uses these same hands to cook. Pepe’s peri peri is a big brand and she is ruining the image of the brand. Everyone else is fine, she is that fish who make the lake dirty. The management should have a look on this. I will be writing a very strong email to the HO about this, this is not exceptable.

Good place if you want to eat halal fast food in Coventry. They offer a lot of piri-piri chicken menus and rice.

Hear a lot about this place so thought I'd give it a go. They have a large menu mostly chicken. I ordered a chicken box, they didn't have the veg that goes with it so did a little salad. I had to ask for this, no alternative was given. The food is lovely it was served fast and feels a bit healthier as the chicken is grilled. I ate in the restaurant. There it limited seating but it was quite. Unfortunately the door doesn't close properly so the place was very cold and didn't feel welcoming, will eat there again as the staff were nice, food was good but would wait for a warmer day.

Great finger licking food. But if you are eating in, especially at night better be well covered with warm clothings. It is freezing cold inside.A great place for take away.

Visited the restaurant this evening with couple of my friends and their families. We were super hungry and dying for some juicy chicken. However, by the time we reached there it was a bit late and time for team to close the restaurant. We approached to the manager (Amer) and explained him, we drove 15 miles to have some pepe’s chicken. He was very accommodating and cooked some fresh chicken. He also let us to enjoy our meal even after 11:00. I think this is a true example of hospitality. Thank you Amer and the team for the delicious food and great hospitality.

Very good chicken wings especially the sauce...

They have renovated the place and also have a good sitting capacity it's just from the last 3 months their toilet is out of service which is a minus point but other than that their staff and food is up to the point and also charged fairly

Guys we are paying what you ask. Then food taste and quantity should not be compromised. God is seeing us. Do the business profitable but not greedy. Today I bought 18 wings in Coventry and spice rice. Chicken is fully burnt giving bitter taste why I need to pay 18£ and get quantity less and quality less food. U reduced quality and quantity. Really am upset. If you need more tell we are ready spend but don’t give like this worst food.

This was very good place to enjoy food,the lovely point is that they will do food according to the flavours we like. It's an amazing place to enjoy food with you are favorite people. The manager was so cool and the staff is very friendly and the service is too good. This place is highly recommended in Coventry. And those who are missing spicy food and home food can come and enjoy😌 The menu and the meal combos are like a feast for food lovers 😍

Food was pretty decent, its a shame they have couple of rude staff who think they something special, turned up to one culprit getting frisky in the kitchen . That little Indian lad in the kitchen is very rude when i was ordering, i let it slide. But his sly comments with another costumer nearly got his head kicked in. Maybe he should stick to getting frisky with the other staff. Manager was just as bad.

While ordering asking for extra sauce but when collecting the food from the counter trying to charge for the sauce not allowed more than 1 sauce which is very greedy and poor service by the guy and and paid 19 pounds for bad quality food I told in Birmingham we got no limit for the sauce and the guy said this is not Birmingham I have given back him all the sauces provided and he was happy to take They don’t deserve to be the part of Pepes is the big name in the food industry. Poor service and food quality.

Their peri fries and garlic mayo can't be topped and they do smashing Chicken XL burgers (but they ain't really XL)

Absolute rubbish place!! Grumpy old man has no customer service skills!! Tried charging extra for a extra sauce tub! If they said in the first place there was extra charges for sauces before ordering, I would of never of ordered and went elsewhere!! Please avoid these beggars!

Go here often with my girlfriend. We usually get a quesadilla meal, a chicken burger meal, and a couple of chicken strips. I cannot fault the food, but I feel the prices are a little steep.

My all time favourite chips. It’s comes with Pepe’s special masala. Nothing can beat chips from Pepe. I also tried chicken box with vegetables and made the whole food items as a meal box. The chicken is very juicy and tasty. The only thing that can be changed is adding salt to the vegetables while cooking. Overall, I enjoyed the dishes.

I’ve tired a few Pepe’s chain in Birmingham and Milton Keynes, but the Cov one just hits different. Love their paneer rice and peri peri wedges and with the garlic dip = best combo 👌🏻

I ordered whole peri peri chicken for collection, I told them that I want it mild they made it spicy as hill we couldn’t even eat a bite, it was very very very spicy 🥵 therefore I will never visit this place again 👎

Not been for a while... had chicken burrito meal with peri fries and three chicken strips. Cooked fresh so slight delay for this fast food but that's very much a good thing. I have medium heat which is quite spicy for me and wouldn't say I was particularly a spice whimp so very hot would probably blow my head off:) nice food.

You will spent more money in here then a 5 star restaurant it's that expensive ..

Left Coventry for 3 years now, and Pepe's remain the top item that I miss intensely. Amazing grilled chicken - would definitely pay them a visit if I ever had a chance to go back there.

Long wait time. Unhygienic. Unprofessional staff. Soggy chips. Chicken was half cooked. The one near sainsbury is good. This is a very bad place

Not too bad. No hair hygiene so if you want extra gristle and hair in your food, this is the place to go to

Really long wait time ordered beef burgers which were very dry and chewy with a soggy bun. Very stingy with the sauces and did not package items properly causing spillage. Would not recommend and won’t be eating here again.

We had a take away after ordering chicken quasidella and bbq sizzler with extra hot spicy. It was average and didn't feel it as extra spicy. Service wise okay.
