Absolutely lovely place, my partner and I were celebrating and went for a nice date here. Great food with lovely decor, chef even refunded us the price of our desserts as they weren’t satisfied with the presentation (still tasted amazing). Will definitely be back again this summer, would recommend.

Having ate a large meal at lunchtime, we opted for some small dishes to share. We had the Charcuterie followed by a Cheese platter. All were excellent, local produce of great quality, gluten-free options were very good. The atmosphere as relaxed and cosy, the service was friendly and caring. Breakfast was equally good!

Lovely food and atmosphere. Mandy our waitress was excellent. Attentive without being too much. Food was lovely , especially the chunky chips which were perfect. House white and red also delicious. A really nice night and fully recommended!

Just a little disappointed. The starters were lovely. But several of the items were not as described on the menu. The fish of the day (cod) didn't have a herb crust, and the new potatoes were plain and over cooked. But more annoying was the creme brulee described as with Baileys and gluten free shortbread. I got a plain brulee with two commercial 'Nice' biscuits. Just as well I'm not gluten intolerant! I did mention this to the waiter who said he'd tell the chef. Poor.

3 The GreenSecond visit and exceeded our already high expectations. A really friendly welcome from the team as we walked through the door. There is a wonderful vibe to this restaurant, lively yet intimate. The menu changes regularly but great local produce. Attentive but not overbearing service. Freebies which always go down well with some great bread and an appetiser of a creamy parsnip velouté which was beyond delicious particularly as I have a real dislike of that particular vegetable! A choice of five (six?) dishes for starters, mains and desserts so not overwhelming! Good wine list, by the glass or bottle. And the food. Simply outstanding. I had a crėme brûlée of crab, my partner had a goat cheddar mousse to kick off. Beef fillet and duck respectively to follow both demonstrating an attention to detail and showing off innovation and respect for the ingredients by the chef and his team. Beetroot and ginger sticky toffee pudding and passion fruit crème brûlée. It’s extremely rare that we both have three courses, fortunately the plates are not overloaded and there is such a good balance that we left pleasantly full! Outstanding value from a restaurant that takes a real pride in making their diners feel special and happy! Only downside? I can’t eat here every day.

32A Broad StreetWe popped in here after visiting the brewery for a light lunch , they not only serve alcohol and great tapas , they also have a very alluring array of cakes if you want just soft drinks , tea, coffee etc . The owners were very welcoming and well safe to say the light bite went out of the window, charcuterie board was so tasty with homemade pickles , the goats cheese with honey was a must try . My partner loved the chicken skewers . Great variety , excellent service and generous portions. If you visit Lyme Regis in Dorset definitely not one to miss

Newell Cottage GreenhillAnother most delicious meal - lunch this time - the gigot with wild mushrooms and pommes dauphinoises was perfect. And easy parking just outside.
