My first time here as far as I know Although my wife says that we have been here before..small but Clean little public house excellent London pride @ £4.50 a pint as for accommodation (cannot answer that question?)

It's a marmite sort of place you'll love it or hate it

lovely landlord and staff. easy to get to with a lovely outsde seating area. the pub has rooms but i have not tried them

We had one of the homemade curries. The food is tasty and good portions. the owners are very friendly and helpful.

I didn’t stay in any accommodation here I just went to grab a pint after a walk through Southwell. First thing I noticed was absolutely nobody there, not even behind the bar when I first walked in. When someone finally appeared behind the bar he was super friendly and a great server, however what let’s this place down is the lack of atmosphere, It didn’t feel like a pub at all no people talking no music no nothing to be honest. But what makes me not give this a lower rating is the great server behind the bar!

We hired the function room for a family birthday party of 17 people. We had a hot buffet which was fantastic, fresh ingredients, home cooked, delicious and a good variety. Excellent service from Rama and his staff, would definitely recommend and would use again.

I can review the accommodation only due to us deciding after the one nights stay we wouldn't risk having breakfast. The family room is basic but has the requirements needed, unfortunately the mattresses and bedding are uncomfortable which meant we hardly slept.

Very basic, no bar menu. Rooms clean but accessable via tatty corridors. Had breakfast day 1, didn't bother again. It's ok if you literally want somewhere to get your head down.

Estuve solo una noche con mi novio. Es un pub que tiene habitaciones arriba del mismo. Un cuarto chico, el techo bajo, con tv y pava eléctrica con café y té. El baño normal con ducha eléctrica, la bacha de la pileta muy chica y es a contacto se corta cada dos segundos. No tiene parking, debes dejar el auto en la calle. Al realizar el check-out no había nadie para atendernos, porque te recibe la misma camarera del pub y no habían abierto. Para una noche sola esta bien.

On street parking only. First appearance is that of a small town pub which it is. But it is surprisingly large to the rear with its own function room and court yard were one can sit out on a warm summer evening and rooms upstairs. The landlord originates from India and can produce very good Indian dishes. I have not stayed overnight.

Visited this pub on Saturday night with my husband and our friends. The service was really good and the food and the wine were both good too. Nice relaxing place to go out for lunch/ dinner with a great atmosphere.

Just enjoyed a lunch time with a friend. When we arrived the carvery was not ready due to a power problem, waited about 20mins. The wait as worth it the food was lovely fresh joints with a good selection of veg. The staff where really friendly and helpful. Will be going again.

Very Friendly welcome given to us. The Inn is a listed building so the owners could not alter the layout without planning permission. The bed was really comfortable and the room had the usual coffee/tea making facilities and wardrobe. We had to share bathroom facilities with other Guests which did not cause any problems. We were given a good breakfast and as much toast as we asked for.

Stayed over night to visit friends, landlords could not have been more helpfull, breakfast was lovely and the locals were very welcoming.

I have been to the curry night here a few times now and have to say the curries are AMAZING! Really yummy! Lovely atmosphere in the pub too, especially in the winter with the fire! :)

Fantastic venue for a private party, warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent facilities for the DJ and very accomodating for all our needs. Food was great and staff are very helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend for parties and food.

Соус для кари шеф готовит не менее шести часов. Иначе консистенция не та. Жаль, что это только в четверг, но как мы поняли, на вынос вам сделают это всегда

I visited this delightful pub last Thursday to be greeted by a thriving pub and a curry evening. Unable to resist I ordered a chicken vindaloo medium. Whilst I was waiting Sam the batman served me a fantastic pint of John smiths cask, That i consider to be the best in Notts. when the curry came cooked by the landlord Ramma, it was fantastic. I would recommend this pub to anyone, and I will definitely return to this pub. Thanks Ramma and Sam for a terrific evening.
