The first time I went in this pub everyone stopped talking and looked at me walking in so I walked right out the door and went somewhere friendlier

The space is ideal, the new managers will do what they can for you whilst coping with what they're able to get. The place was left with a great deal to work on, including supplies from Brewerys and vendors. Due to it's location although family friendly parking is restricted as is taxis stopping just after a set of lights. Being under new management its a large task to get this once popular pub back on the map.

Just been kicked out the Red lion birtley shutting because they don't have enough customers in .. . I wonder why! Every other pub busy ! Thats why I went but won't be back 🤔This was just after 19:00 on a Friday night 😡 I'm no prude but the landlady has a foul mouth every other word is a f word. What a shame as it's just been redecorated and serves a decent pint.

Don't use alcohol ! Toilet was average hygiene wise
