Ordered from here before with no issues had great service in past. However this time the food is contaminated with pieces of plastic and something that looks like beef, it is supposed to be gluten free but can't trust this anymore. When calling up to speak to someone about it got offered 1 salt and pepper chicken free next time we order and got questioned as to why we were only just eating it now when the order was placed over an hour ago, no apologies given. Came all the way from Sunderland to collect as never had issues before but doubt we'll be doing it again as just can't be trusted.

The best takeaway i’ve ever tasted, the women on the phone is always so lovely and the food is top notch you can’t ask for anything else of them!

Had another amazing takeaway from here today. The lady is always so helpful n cheerful. Even after I messed up my order. Only waited 20 mins n thy bought it out to me in car park. Food always delicious n great value too. 3rd time we've been here.. Always busy with delivery orders.. Thanks 😊. X

Ordered sweet and sour special with chips. Cold and bland. First time ordering from here and will be the last. £13.40 down the drain waste of money

Decided to try here after a recommendation. Picked the munchie box. Pretty much threw £24 in the bin. Practically inedible due to the unbelievable amount of salt added to the food. The curry sauce is like a partially set jelly and the chicken in it, was like mush. The lady behind the counter was lovely. The setting a bit odd as appears to have been a restaurant but is essentially a large space with a desk at the front. Definitely won’t be returning.

Nice portion of food, chips could be better as they did not taste fresh at all. Hard

Really disappointed. Ordered crispy beef but literally just batter strips….no beef! Everything dowsed in very runny and vinegary sauce . Chicken was slimy and no free prawn crackers (every Chinese adds these in!) Chips were ok but not hard to get right.

Had beef chow mein the beef tasted funny and smelt funny didnt eat it

First time using this Chinese and I must say the food is lovely. We are from consett so it was half an hour drive then the same back but it was well worth it.

I ordered a sharing box last night and it did not disappoint! You definitely get your moneys worth and the food it's self was delicious. The member of staff I spoke to on the phone was very polite and helpful she actually recommend the sharing box and am so glad she did. Would definitely recommend and I will be order from here again.

Must say im really disappointed with my order last night. Ordered the munch box and the picture below was what i left as the salt and pepper chicken, chips and spare ribs where doused in the flavoured salt they were inedible. Just onion too no peppers so i've no idea what happened. Such a shame though

The law stipulates that all restaurants must serve food that is of satisfactory quality. This means that the food must be fit to eat as well as served at an appropriate temperature. If food is served that doesn't meet these standards, the customer is entitled to request a replacement meal, or a full or part refund. Refusing any kind of refund after the customer hands back their food is unlawful. Very unprofessional.

My absolute favourite Chinese! NOT to be confused with the other Chinese with the same name! Food is always delicious and the same quality and standard. One time , fast and friendly service.

Been tonite and got the sharing box well worth the money .staff friendly esp girl that was serving .the food was hot and delicious 😋 be worth getting this shari g box still loads left say more for three or four people ..Well done

First time and the last time terrible food

Worst chinese food ever - ordered beef chop suey and when opened, the whole contents were covered in garlic nibs despite no mention of garlic in the menu ingredients online, chewy beef and no beansprouts to speak of. The mushroom curry also ordered was practically tasteless, greasy and cold - the majority of both meals went in the bin, had it not been pouring down with rain, it would have been returned for a refund, absolutely disgusting

Should of known better about this dump,this place used to be the best Chinese takeaway ever and has went down hill rapid only nipped in for a quick meal my guts are in clip.the place is like a run down shop best of going to the Thai wah up the road 100% better

First time using this takeaway as new to the area......couldn't fault both meals ordered. And I am quite particular about food. It arrived within 30 mins, and we are a 10/15 minute drive away. Lovely and hot, very tasty and will use them again.

Normally the food and delivery are good from here BUT tonight ………… 2 hours before the delivery arrived so I made a comment to the driver. Response was a grunt then turned his back and walked away. My daughter had actually gone to the restaurant to pick it up/complain so I rang her to advise it had arrived and asked her to make a complaint about the driver. The response she received has shocked us both ‘not my problem’ from another member of staff! This one experience has obliterated all the positive things we could have previously stated and that’s all it takes to lose customers

Ordered a take away from there last night couldn't fault it, came within half an hour of ordering, my wife and I throughly enjoyed it would recommend.

Last time I order from here...ordered for 7.15pm and came within minutes of ordering. Munchie box was inedible, beef chow mein was full of fat, disgusting.

Disgusted with the meal we purchased yesterday. Chips overcooked, rice overcooked, and same as another person's recent review, the Chicken did not look like or taste anything like it should.

Ordered food from here tonight with my best friend and honestly the food was awful! Chips were dry as sticks, chicken was slimy and didn't taste like chicken at all. We won't be ordering from here again.

Got a takeaway on the weekend and they overloaded it with garlic cloves even no we asked for no garlic in it !! Also the chicken was disgusting it didnt taste like chicken neither!

Stayed at hot tub hideaway, orderd a takeaway from here it was absolutely beautiful the best Chinese weve had its a pitty we don't live near here because we would definitely order from here. I would recomend to everyone..

It's nice Chinese food. And you can take it away or they will bring it to your house!

Spare ribs were the gristle off the ends if the ribs ! Avoid those in your order ! Or just avoid this take away altogether!!!

Have gone here for a long time but recently both me and my partner have been poorly with bad stomach last 2 times we ordered from there

Lovely friendly place. Parking great. Have been here twice and asked about gluten free food but have never been able to speak to staff about it so limited. Food is always nice though seemed a bit warmed up this evening. Would use again though as usually very good and staff always help at much as they can.

Just got mushroom foo yung it hardly had any egg in it just huge mushrooms very disappointing and curry sauce far too hot

Food is Inconsistent, plain chips, rice are nice. Salty and pepper chips are unbelievably salty. Curry is also salty. Nothing special imo

Last and final time food usually good when hot deliveries as per usual 45 mins late won’t be bothering again, just threw it in bin who wants a cold Chinese better options around and lots of them such a shame won’t use again

Food can sometimes be nice but others not as nice

Food is nice, but always late, ordered at 7.30 for 9.30 came at 10.10 with 2 things missing. Its such a let down when only have take away as a treat. Very disappointing response when you ring . Wont be using again.
